You are assuming she wants more? My impression is she wants/needs/ believes she is a socialite. Not working, inheriting money $ ( haha) and traveling. I think she believes this should be her life! She seems happiest when talking about traveling, having two homes et. I believe this is her obsession with, expensive fabrics, China, and holding on to her designer clothes from Uni. She wants to be a name dropper.

This is the sad reality about vicarious living and people not knowing what to to with themselves, much less what to do with their energy. The only reason these unemployed chateau owners can get any income is because of these kind of people. People always hold power. A youtuber is not the reason for living for anyone. Viewers should wise up and stop breastfeeding these crooks, particularly SJ.
As much as you lot love to make fun of Americans we ( most ) are e tremendously picky when it comes to bathrooms, kitchens and google reviews. Wonder how this will play out even with super fans, when they actually see how it all truly is.

The video features aerial views, and dusty furnished interiors -- can't tell if it's the way they found it, or how they have furnished it. I like the roughness of it, it doesn't look as dirty as the DIY gilt pasted up all over Lalande.
An outpost facing the English frontier in the 100 years war, Sarzay is the backdrop Castle Blanchemont in George Sand's 1845 "arch socialist" novel, The Miller of Angibault.
You can stay, for €70 a night, in an unpretentiously restored timber and lime render bedroom.

Judging from how the superfans jump to defend SJ and the Shitoo, I highly doubt if there will ever be any honest reviews. Their expectations are too high. They'll be too embarrassed for her and the best thing to do is keep quiet and crawl in to a hole....never to be heard again.
I wish I could go there but I don't know how to survive Bear Grylls style.
In the latest Patreon video she goes over all the projects, apologizes and says they will be updated at the first of every month from now on. Apologizes for her travels being the subject of Patreon videos. Apologizes for not being able to show projects that she can’t show because they are filmed for tv. Shows 2 projects completed for tv. Says the chapel restorer begged to stay on the project at cost even though she tried to pay for the work, and that he’s recouping from his fall. Walked all over the place showing all the work. Had jeans on, hair up because it probably looked like tit, and makeup. (Big improvement). Said she’s waiting on carpentry jobs til her cousin comes in August. Said Ian’s been working everyday on a secret project she can’t show yet. Showed the inside of the dirty bed crown has been reupholstered. Basically everything we warned her about….oh and said even if she goes off she will be back every weekend to have meals with the b$b guests. The thought of losing $30K a month straightens her right up. Let’s see if it lasts……

I agree, the compulsive shopping is part of the manic behavior. She is trying desperately to fill a void, possibly from her childhood, a bad relationship, her parents and brother (Gerry) constantly telling her she was a princess and realizing she never was or never will be. I wouldn’t count on it. From when she was a little girl, Gerry was trained to be her personal butler, doing exactly what she needs him to do: keeping Mummy at arm‘s length. From what you see in the early vlogs it might appear IJ is effective and hard working, but you should never let their smoke and mirrors cloud your judgement. It’s not just SJ’s desire to play and do fun stuff, her family is at the base of how she came to believe she’s entitled to it all.
