How fortunate that this coincides with a full house to welcome him back and what a day for a reunion party! Will we see Ryan and. Billy collect him from HNW to escort their home?

Wonder If we will now get a' Derek style' pic of the triumphant naked Trotter on tour to Basminger, blowing his horn whilst riding on the back of a patron? Various characters from his journey in the backgrounds escorting the prodigal Trotter home.

Yes, she looked lovely. I think she's lightened her hair but it looks natural, not yellow like Fanny's! The new volunteer looked a bit stunned by it all - she looks like a good match for Davy! There was a lot of noise from the "cooks" in the kitchen - MP and Ruth. Ruth has quite a loud voice, maybe she was doing it on purpose as her background speaking was interfering with SJ in the vlog last time!

She does. Two lovely women on either side really does show up her scragginess. She needs to be outdoors enjoying sunshine and getting some vitamin D.

I would have thought that Antoine living in Brussels also would be able to speak Dutch...

He probably goes to a French speaking school in Belgium or even to a school in France, his mother is French, not Belgian, and his step father, British, so he may not necessarily be exposed to much Flemish in Brussels when he's there, and in the holidays, he's mostly in France. I thought he seemed happy with Selmar and spoke more than he does in SJ's videos, even though Selmar shouldn't really film him unless he had asked Marie beforehand but she seemed surprised. He is a lovely boy but he must be lonely in that chateau.

What a STUPID video tonight - it felt like all filler material before she unnecessarily gallivants across France again.

Instead of wasting time playing with ugly kids toys, I would've preferred the group spend those HOURS weeding the garden/courtyard or doing something actually productive to improve the place. I fast forwarded through most and couldn't even finish it. I don't know why I keep watching anymore, I'm always disappointed!

That’s actually really sad. Every thought in Selmars damaged head has been put there on purpose by SJ, who believes everyone staying at her HMN is there for her entertainment and we all know how ’playful’ she is. For him to say she is the nicest person he has ever met, breaks my heart. Her cruel treatment of him knows no bounderies. If anyone is clueless enough to part with their money for this or any of the so-called workshops hosted by Shrek and Fiona, they deserve to get ripped off. Sorry. Never heard the word "sewer" used here in my part of the UK. My mother in law was a professional seamstress. Someone who specifically makes women's clothing is often described as a dressmaker whether professional or amateur. Male clothing makers are tailors. I've done dressmaking courses so I'm an amateur dressmaker . Someone who did embroidery would be an embroiderer. As stated earlier a "sewer" is the big pipe under the road carrying away water and toilet waste. I agree sewist sounds odd, but I love new words. The English language is forever changing , not static. I love that about it. I like to see what new words are added to the Oxford English dictionary every year, then I can baffle and annoy my grandchildren by using them frequently.

Antoine being not really a priority is evident by there not being any child outdoor toys. No swing set, tree house, trampoline nothing. Just adults behaving like children. You'd think Nick would have installed something for Antoine.

Covid vaccine. Steven Johnson's syndrome runs in the family. Those of us that have had in the past are waiting for more information on how that is going with that. My cousin is a international musician. She never had a reaction to vaccine. Sadly Covid vaccine caused her to have seizures. She spent 10 days in the hospital. Now she still has seizures 10-26 a day. Her neice is staying with her. She has Dr appointments this week. So far all they have said is her system reacted. No idea if this is permanent. Sometimes vaccines trigger epilepsy in children. But the Drs so far don't know. Hopefully the neurologist appointment will start to give some answers. We keep praying for her. Hopefully this is rare.

Omg, this is so fun here. But I fear no volunteerist will ever dare to come to LaLande when reading here what happens to newbies being checked and over analysed. They really need to be mentally stable, but then they wouldn't consider going to Lalande. And then no work will be done and no-one to be vlogged and what will happen to SJ chanel? And nothing to tattle about?
We need to say something nice, too.
I start with the tidied up kitchen. Did you all see there is no mess in the cooking area? I think this is Sarah's influence? How did she manage to throw Marie out of the kitchen?

I'm sure that Stephanie uses Tattle as a kind of checklist for what's to be done at the Chateau. She clearly addresses issues brought up on here, very quickly too. A good symbiotic relationship.
Some suggestions.
They need to employ a good cleaning company.
Send any people involved in cooking for visitors on an online Food Safety course . If one person took an advanced course, then they could train others. They are very good, my workplace uses them. People with the certificate could then sort out food rotation and storage.
Most people living there also need a Manual Handling course. They seem to be lifting and carrying a lot of heavy furniture.
I would suggest someone took a First Aid Course.
All these courses are available as accredited online courses. Handy if you live in the middle of nowhere.
Get a fire safety officer in to advise on fire alarms, smoke alarms if they are not already fitted.
Employ a legit pest control company to sort out the rodent issue or a local rat catcher would be cheaper, and they tend not to use poisons but dogs or guns. (Quicker).
Employee welfare - contracts, sick pay and holidays? Are they in place? Are people there emoployed as casual or permanent/ short contracts.?

Fact of life: Can we see how the chateau stays "ship-shape" -- and who does it?? Tomaz Quaresma (volunteer) did this in a vlog and it showed there's more to chateau life than cooking and gardening...& opening gifts...There are about 12 rooms to dust, sweep, clean, polish and so on. Not to mention all the dishes to be washed...loos to be scrubbed. Who's up at dawn to start on the grand salon?????

There is a vlog where Ruth talks to Stephanie about her novel which has just been published and how she got inspiration for parts from things which happened at La Lande. Unfortunately the haters on the other site were very critical about Ruth and her appearance and relationship with Michael. So much so that Ruth no longer wants to appear in the vlogs

@gnssgrl If you go back to the first few episodes ever posted, Stephanie is hanging out with her friend Ruth in London. Then later is shows Ruth and Michael are together at the chateau (married). She's in lots of the early vlogs like barbecuing, costume parties, and stuff. Then she did a vlog or two (maybe vlog 40ish?) with Stephanie about a best selling book she wrote while at Lalande. It was summer I think. If you check out Michael on Instagram Ruth will pull up and the novels she's written. She hasn't been filmed in a while so it must be at her request but I wish she'd come back bc she's great on camera. If you haven't seen the early vlogs you're in for a treat, they are the best because they have the ultimate carefree-days vibe in them and are covered in epic foodie opportunities, you'll drool
