Since were not talking about gay sex: it involves licking and a certain behind.
Oh my! I didn't think your imagination would go straight to eating ass. 🤭

Not that I don’t see your point, but there are some things you are leaving out. This we’re not people living in their own homes, but people living in her home, taking care of her stuff, including her animals. Your suggestion that they would take cats in, only to leave them behind, does not make sense. They moved down the road. If it was their cat, they could have easily taken it with them and would not have taken in new ones. But hey, you’re obviously not stephending, like I’m not defending my friends, who in this case have the better view on animal welfare anyway with a corresponding track record.
Because my living situation is similar (I have the bottom floor of a big craftsman home, three apartments above me and a mother-in-law unit in the backyard) it's not unusual for someone living in my house to take in a stray cat, start feeding it, then leave it behind when they go. It sounds like that's exactly how Stephanie ends up with cats. At least there is no shortage of cat lovers.

What's your point ?? It's a fictional dramatisation. At least those actors had a job.

We all live in a world that is built upon these business practices. No getting around it.
I was born into one of those 'great houses' paid for with the blood, sweat and tears of slaves. SSB wasn't. 😂

Move on.

Have you not noticed how many black people are in adverts and public facing positions since BLM kicked off. The reaction was nearly as quick as B.Gibbons. Not quite though, give her her due, no-one is as quick as DB. 😂
I just thought it was curious that nobody at LaLande dressed as a Regency servant. Upstairs is always more interesting with Downstairs. And the downstairs Regency servants would have been wearing Phrygian caps if you're going for real authenticity. As in the French Revolution. The women, Jeannette crosses, to honor St. Jean, on whose feast day they traditionally signed their work contracts.
I'm not here to argue with you or anybody else about BLM and their extremely effective work against police brutality.

I do indulge, don't panic it's legal in California where I live and other civilized places nowadays. But those weren't hand rolled joints. Those were filtered cigarette butts. Big difference!

Like a previous post stated, "That train has left the station." Have you been keeping up?
It is also legal in Canada. Individual provinces sell it like they do liquor. Just go to the store and choose your variety and some edibles.

It's not the childrens fault because they eat what they are given and/or encouraged to eat. You dont have to be a dietician to see that a child is 'chubby' or not. That applies to looking in the mirror sideways and thinking "Oh dear". Parents who allow their children to carry too much weight need to question themselves.
I was confused at first, thought D&A referred to Dan and Annalise, now realise it's Dick & Angel !

I'm sorry, I meant might you recommend a book you've found truly enlightening yourself, not the ones I've read?
You should try Raymond Depardon's books and documentaries. All about rural France. Wonderful work.
I think they have been translated in english.

Just putting this out here again, since SJ is reading here and using our information instead of doing her own due diligence anyway and apparently she wants to move Selmar to the back, tucked away for prying eyes.
French planning laws forbid the permanent installation of a mobile home on private land, whether your own, or that of another person. They must either be installed either on a residential leisure park created for this purpose, either a parc residentiel de loisirs or a village de vacance en hebergement.
Even where they are installed on an authorised site, it cannot be for a period longer than two consecutive years. This is to prevent these sites becoming used for permanent homes.
No formal permission is required to install a mobile home on private land for less than three months (15 days in a protected area), but beyond this timescale the owner must seek the approval of the planning authority. The three month period need not be consecutive.

Interesting local news: a British couple is currently planning on setting up a campsite in Le Rimbert, a neighboring hamlet to the HMN. They will probably not like SJ’s practice of hosting camper vans long term.
Does any of this apply though if he takes off most w/ends and if its only his camper van that stays there?

I was so embarrassed for her. Does she not realize how foolish she looked
obviously not....

I've watched Curiosity Inc and it's amazing how Alex clears those hoarder houses. And the money he makes on the stuff he finds! Can't think he'd have much luck at the Shitoo when that has to be cleared. Some moth-eaten 80's clothes, woodworm-riddled wardrobes, 70 old bidets, some absolutely fugly lamps, some ghastly paintings and a set of pornographic kitchen tiles. Not to mention the outhouse full to the brim with awful home-made gifts sent to Cadeaux at the Chateau. Not much profit in that.
Ohhhhhh I’ll have to watch that channel. Hoarders always mesmerize me.

I particularly like the idea of worker owned Cooperatives. There should be more of them. I think with Covid, we may see an upsurge in small businesses taking off like this.
KaCHING! Me and a Way Forward spiritual group of old hippies I belong to talk about what COVID is doing for evolutionary consciousness and the economy all the time.
One of the things we talk about is international support for local projects like Stephanie's as the way forward.
People here have an interesting ongoing discussion on begging, but post-COVID capitalization is another way to look at it. I'm sure the YT chatelaines -- like all the other YT entrepreneurs and fascist demagogues -- will change as quickly as the virus morphs, to become more transparent and accountable to Patreons as this system develops. We're watching Petherick fail to do this in real time.
Here's the daddy of the recent wave of worker coops. It's all about decayed urban centers and rust belt regions here in the US -- as well as woefully underdeveloped rural areas as in France. The trick is to find a never-ending need that's not leaving the neighborhood any time soon. The Cleveland workers determined that was going to be hospital laundry. For rural areas, it's looking like sustainable broadband and Green New Deal infrastructure projects. Don't know what's up in France.

O.k. Going back down memory lane...watching some old CDs that are more tolerable than this gears menu and just finished a couple of Advent ones with Trotter cooking, decorating....and I know everyone is disgusted with him at the moment but IMO he is SO much more watchable than Snorts.
If he has been banished from mommy's nest he needs to fly over to La La land and push BJJ out of bed and take over there. At least be can cook, and refinish furniture and have an opinion that is his own!! ( if you can get him to work and not dilly dally in Madrid)
Does he come with a reference: If you can get him to work for you, you will indeed be fortunate.

This is the one that got DB’s nightie in a twist so much she bullied him out of there. I’m glad he’s kept the video up!
DB=Gibbons? I am unable to find a link for that, it would be maybe Sept 2020 but which of her many FB sites? God she's creepy. Any link to the bullying posts to FB, greatly appreciated.

From reading some posts about how many food fads they have to cover, maybe the spices were a hint to jazz up the offering? Mind you, after watching a couple of vids, its not like she'd know which aisle you'd find them in..

What would you have worn to the Bridgerton Easter party ??
Skirt made from modern American Indian or African wax resist fabric.
And one of these:
And you, comrade?
