This was far more exciting than Lalande vlog
Watched this live yesterday and on flight radar map, SO pleased not to be a passenger, 1st class, business class or cattle, you are all in the same tin can on landing. Friend had it over his house 3 times
That must have been terrifying for all on board.
I had the same experience in the Seventies in Australia but it wasn't a jet but a twin engine Fokker Friendship. The trip was for work, from Sydney to Coffs Harbour up the coast. The pilot tried three times to land in wind and rain then gave up and flew to Casino the next stop. Landed there ok as it was inland.
Tried to land at Casino again on the way back to Sydney, still a no go. The passenger across the aisle from me threw up his breakfast, poor guy.
So we ended up back in Sydney about two hours later and I rang my boss and he said "Go home, you've done your work for the day".
I was living in Manly at the time so it was a hike to the airport at 6am and I was home again by 10.
Bumpy flights don't bother me now.

I really admire pilots and I guess there was a lot of cross wind that day. Can you imagine your confidence on getting that huge plane down when you have tried 2 times and on to your third! I would be so in a panic by then!
I also like to watch the big supermarket trucks backing into the small holding bays ....... I am crap at backing up in my car and when I see them just do a "bing , bang , boom" and that big old truck is sitting just in the right place while the driving is going backwards - hell, who needs to go to the movies !:love::love:
I thought you might like this....

Here is how I do it when I'm on a laptop, which is most of the time. May laptop is Microsoft based, not Mac based. This works for YouTube, too.

I copy the link to the Instagram post here on Tattle, so when you're on Instagram, open the post you want to copy here on Tattle. If you don't do it this way, you'll end up just posting the link to the Instagram account itself versus the particular post you want to share with people here. It will look something like this:

View attachment 2645566

You'll notice I circled an area on the screenshot - that's the link you are going to copy and paste here! When you're here and creating a post, right clip and "copy" the link on Instagram (the blue circled area above) and when you get to your post here on Tattle, then right click again and hit "paste as", then select "plain text", and your link is copied. It will look like a link only, but when you hit "preview" before you hit "post reply" here, the entire post as it looks above will populate.

I hope this helps! There may be an alternative way to do this (and on an I-phone or MAC it's way easier!) but this is the way I do it.
Thank you so much , I think I can use your method in my computer too, but I use Tattle in my iPhone and most of the time on my iPad. @HalcyonOrganic just posted some instructions for iPhone :m

Sure thing

click on that paperplane looking icon

Then click on copy link

Insert the link here

Caution: some links (reels) probably won’t work, and it is forbidden to post whole profiles here
Thank you so much darling, that is actually very simple but, still, I couldn’t find a way of doing it on my own…
I will test it just now…

They live in the countryside and are surrounded by their own woods, yet he had to put up a ghastly, imitation ugly green plastic tinsel garland. The whole room was full of cheap, tasteless tat. He and Fanny are stuck in a time warp with the taste of a primary school child. Actually, most children probably have more taste! Compare that with the Fleuries, no matter what we may think of them, they have good taste and would never contemplate having the tat that Fanny has. LL must be a laughing stock amongst the other chateaux owners. Since Fanny likes to think she's a cut above the others and likes to shop and stay in the most expensive establishments, her own home gives her away as the tasteless trollop that she is. Snorty is just ridiculous, pretending to be an adult but exposing his immaturity and looking totally ridiculous by arranging the most tasteless Christmas display anyone could imagine.
---

I seem to remember her saying they were in a sale, or reduced, as, according to her, are most of her purchases!!!!!! I suppose her lies show that she knows some patrons might actually wake up and notice her spending sprees.
When I commented about her tree in the comment section, margielynch replied, Go away Grinch.
Some just don't want to know.

I still think it is suspicious that not a single Balsam tree was hauled down from the attic for this year’s celebrations. I still think it is likely they tossed the expensive trees after last Christmas instead of breaking them down and storing them properly OR they crammed them somewhere and cannot remember where they stuffed the trees or cannot be arsed to look for them OR Amaury lit up a joint, opened a beer, put on his headphones with his favorite Marilyn Manson songs, and had a bonfire burning the trees and decorations while Fanny and son were away on yet another vacation.

For a couple who believes they define Christmas celebrations, the gruesome twosome Christmas elves did a piss poor job decorating the Charlie Brown Christmas tree outside of the crispy chateau ( complete with a cardboard star and dismal brown ornaments). I do appreciate the fact that Nick cut down a tree that would have to be removed anyways on the property.
Or they can’t get to the trees and the thousands of ornaments they already have… Could Narnia be off limits because of the accident or structural problems???
I can’t stand watching the blogs - When was the last time they visited Narnia?

Can I get some help? Could anyone who knows how to share an instagram post here tell me how to do it?

Could you @ComtesseRose @M&MsMom and @HalcyonOrganic

You are the ones I remember sharing Instagram posts here…

@M&MsMom could you please share Jared's latest ig post?
He is a talented ice skater although I initially thought his ankles were a girl's.
I can't access ig on my MacBook Air.

Cranberry and Jalapeño Dip with Crackers
Roast Pork Tenderloin
Appley herby stuffing
More Mysterious dishes I'm not in charge of, yay!!!!, along the lines of creamed onions with five-spice powder,* mashed rutabaga, and other granny dishes
Brussels Sprouts with Fresh Ginger, Butter and Brown Sugar
Mystery dessert if we feel like it, already feeling over-sugared without having eaten anything sugary yet

*I have to say this Nigel Slater recipe for onions simply baked with cream and Parm looks like a winner to me.

Balsam hill Christmas trees does have a sale or two. Half price trees. Which brings the cheapest tree they have to 700.00. US. I am happy for people who can afford them, myself that money would pay for heating my house all Winter.
They don’t usually do their deepest discounts in the summer though. That’s prime full price holiday decor planning/ordering season. I watch every year hoping to catch one in the post holiday clearance. So far no joy but window shopping is often just as good. Especially when it convinces me I really don’t need something I want.

In theory it is idyllic and romantic but over here it can get bad. First, the air is soooooo dry, so much dust because there is no humidity, we almost need a humidifier in every room of the house. We put kettles with water on top of the wood burners just to steam the air. I envy the humidity of certain corners of Europe…

I will not go out not only because I can not bear to clean snow but also, after reading the local paper, because of the many traffic accidents everywhere. The snowplows are working non stop but the snow is also non stop… it’s been snowing on and off for days and now it’s not stopped since last night… the piles are getting high…

Last week the weather folk said the weather would change… there would be some rain… man, they were wrong this time.

I love baklava, would love to have some this Christmas, with loads of syrup. Right now I am enjoying the snowy day with some store bought pistacchio and chocolate macarons and delicious Swedish tea in my Prague  Starbucks cup..

It’s been over a year since they have filmed all the crap in Narnia, They did film Pottie several months or a year ago blocking up a hole in the attic roof or a place where birds had entered the attic, Fanny has only shown a portion of the rooms at the Dump. I bet most of the rooms not shown are filled with crap, rubbish, grift grab rejects, etc., recall the outbuildings filled with mountains of boxes, trash, dozens of old sinks, doors, old log burners, windows, rotted wood, junk, etc.

On Billy Petherick's vlog today, he responded to readers who had been commenting on Yannis' lack of safe work boots. So, Billy acknowledged the viewers and gave Yannis a proper pair of work boots (especially important now, as they demo part of the second floor of the convent). Total opposite of how Stephanie would have handled the situation. She'd delete any of those type of posts-let alone spend a penny on someone other than herself.
