I will update mine with Fanny’s nightmare, The tax collector.

And more drivel. I don't think antibacterial wipes will do any good at the Shattoo, "crinkle2649"!:LOL:

@crinkle2649 Make sure to wipe off your manicure pieces with antibacterial wipes after each use.

And the peasants are stirring .....
@marytye7577 Would it be possible to update the description box with the more recent donations made? It is a wonderful thing you all do, and its nice to know where the joy was spread. Happy Fall!
@rowandowland1391I agree with you, I've been asking for this update for almost a year now without any success. I hope you have better luck

Message on Patreon:

Why there won’t be a Patreon video tonight

Hello everyone, I’m very sorry but there won’t be a Patreon video as usual tonight. Tragically, there was a terrible accident at the chateau on Thursday, which is why there was no Chateau Diaries that night. None of the Lalanders were involved, but that doesn’t make us any less distressed, and none of us is emotionally able to film at the moment.
I had already filmed my trip to Germany with Philip, so tomorrow I will try to finish editing it and post it on the Chateau Diaries. But after that I’ll see how we’re all feeling and decide when to start filming again. I’m hoping that I’ll feel stronger during the week, and that the videos will resume as usual by the end of the week.
I feel a tremendous sense of responsibility to all of the viewers, and especially to all of you, and I promise not to pause filming for long. I am disappointed in myself for stopping at all, but, coming in a year of emotional blows, this has knocked the wind out of me completely. My thoughts are just with the people who who were involved in the accident right now.
Thank you so, so much for all the support you’ve given to everyone at Lalande, I can’t describe how much it means to us. As soon as I am able, I will let you know what happened.

With all of my love as always, Stephanie

I'm off to spend Halloween with my almost 3 year old grandaughter in Vermont tomorrow. She's veered from wanting to be Snow White to being an eyeball! Go figure. It's a 5 hour drive but I'm looking forward to spending a week with her. I'll catch up with all of you hags, trolls and witches and wish you all a Happy Halloween! 🎃

FRK: (In Patreon video) I wanted to show you this vase that Phillip bought....... Ooooo, no.
I don't think he bought them, he got them.

And now seriously: She participated in the opening of the gift in question. Allegedly, Michael sent a gift together with poetry......
How can you be so confused?
Is this proof that Michael is actually Killip or Fanny, that they are buying and opening supposed luxury gifts (silver, designer dresses.....) (Of course it is)

I am also trying to break down what she said and I find the whole thing weird. It was a “tragic accident, if she is to be believed, and it must have happened very early on Thursday and was so disruptive, she couldn’t post her video of PhiPhis present. For most people something tragic involves loss of life or limb - human or animal. As a stretch, it could also involve the loss of a historical artifact - like a chapel window (if you’re her). But I don’t see the whole place being unable to film if just a part of the dump was ruined. I could see them not able to film if a guest was hurt or died, but they are all supposed to be gone. Maybe they would all be shook if something killed all the birds, or Molly or Ruby. The other angle is maybe she is worried about negligence for what happened and had to take to the bed. I can’t think of too many things that would make the slaves not want to be filmed at all.

It really is bullshit to put out a statement like that and provide no details. I mean, what kind of tragic accident could occur that didn’t hurt anyone, but upset everyone so much that they can’t be filmed? Also doesn’t an accident indicate someone was “doing” something and it went wrong? What even happens there? Someone stepped on a hedgehog? A chapel restorer was crushed and lost an arm? I would think you’d just say, unless you’re worried about being sued. Then you wouldn’t say much of anything.

We need Kiki to do a deep dive and find out for us!

For the money that dress is ill fitting. Strangely people are commenting on it. ..
Would love to know what they are really thinking,
Everyone else in shorts or relaxed elegant clothing.
Fanny inappropriately dressed as usual!
And she says « I have very French taste… ».
No, Fanny, you have very bad taste which is international. Just look at that horrible dress and the way it fits you. 🤢

Snorts’ new hair in a can hairline reminds me of the old comic strip character Nancy’s hair. Was that the look he was trying to achieve? Is that what turns Stephanfraudie on? Weird.

Or was it a 1960 ken doll doll look he wanted to achieve?

@OhIDontKnow... I earn my entire living buying and selling antiques, collectibles, and furniture. I make over six figures annually

As long as you charge TOP dollar to those 2 twats when they visit your site, and odds on they will do, to rip them off good and proper, just as they do to all their besotted patreons.
I don’t sell online anymore. That’s how I started. It just got too big. I have booth space in three very nice Antigue and Decor malls. I just price and stage and the mall does all the work. So much more fun that way! Also, I want to chat to customers and see some people from time to time! It’s fun to meet your “fans” that buy from you over and over and it really feels good to find things that make people happy! I’m all about cheerful, lovely, funky things! I especially love saving things. I do a lot of fixing, polishing, and painting. I also do some art from time to time. I really don’t have a problem with letting beautiful things go. The hunt is always thrilling to me! There’s nothing like finding 20 pieces of Waterford crystal at a thrift store for .50 each. I found a signed Renoir print at a thrift store once. I still have that. I also found an important majolica toothpick holder that was broken for $1.00. I sold it for $1500! I also found a gold key for an Asian box for $1.00 that was 22KT gold. I sold that for scrap for $500. It just seems to keep happening to me! I’m an awful negotiator too. I give up easily and I pay full price. 🤣

From Dear Brenda on FB….

Hello everyone.
I am just popping on to let you know there has been a serious accident at Lalande, involving outside contractors.
Our 1st thoughts are with everyone involved, & those close to them.
Whilst the "Lalande family" were not involved in the incident, we can only imagine how they are all feeling, the normal emotions of shock, pain, anxiety etc.
As I am sure you will understand, there have been no daily vlogs. Stephanie has one in the cutting room & will try to upload it today, this is filming & editing which took place before the accident.
If you subscribe to the You Tube channel, "The Chateau Diaries", be sure to click the subscribe button, that way you will be notified when a new vlog is released. If you also click on the "community" button on the You Tube channel, this is the Lalande news board for updates.
Everyone's priority & thoughts at this time, are on the injured making a full & swift recovery.
Admin here would appreciate if you do not post speculation on this incident, if & when any further news is available we will inform you.
Please, do not PM, I have no further information to provide other that what I have said.
Where ever in the world you are, stay safe.

I agree. I've watched Sean a few times (admittedly it's been a very long time) and although he seems like a very nice man, his home and the grounds seemed a wreck. It reminded me of Dan's house, with junk all over the place and overgrown gardens/yard.

By the way.....I wonder what's happening at Dan's home and if he has finished for his ex and his sons?
---

I have often wondered if his constant calling out of his grandparents is real or if it's used to keep the grannies dialed in?
I think Sean and his wife are going for a rustic vibe in the garden. I get what they are trying to do. It is hard to do though and he’s just made too many little nooks and crannies to keep up with. I am guilty of having done that myself. I like how there’s fruit trees and little tufts of color and little stone things and paths. What he’s done along the front is very cute and he’s tidying things up quite a bit. It’s just him working so, I would imagine it’s hard to keep up with it all. He worked as a contractor for many years, and definitely has skills. He’s said he hurt his back a year or so ago, when he fell off a ladder and was laid out for a while. His wife doesn’t want him working on the roof unless he will be very safe so he’s going to use scaffolding.

I earn my entire living buying and selling antiques, collectibles, and furniture. I make over six figures annually. I totally respect Sean and his wife’s selections of antiques and they get good prices for their items and have a great reputation on Etsy. His cutting boards are also well worth the money as well. I’m in an upscale market and people go nuts for the copper items he searches for, they bring crazy prices. HI also know how hard it is in that business to know when to stop working and take care of your home. It’s tough. Every minute I work on the house or yard costs me money. I’m am always on the hunt, polishing something, painting something, cleaning something, fixing something, picking something up, delivering something, or god knows what else. It may not look like much, but it is quite a talent to leave the house with $500 and come home the same day with sale-able items worth $3000. I’ve also made thousands of dollars picking up items put out for collection and either fixing or up cycling them. I cannot just drive by a pile of old furniture. It’s like money laying on the ground.

I’m fortunate that my husband shares my joy of making money out of thin air. He used to go with his grandfather picking antiques when he was a little boy. He’s actually better at it than I am, but he won’t retire for another 4 years, so he just messes around a little bit with it from time to time.

He once bought a giant (100 feet long) American flag for $100 and resold it to a casino in Las Vegas for $6500.

Anyways, that’s my Sean-fending, I don’t love the buy me a coffee or drill, but at least you know he’ll buy it, use it, fix something, and film it.
