I am not in the least bit surprised by Sean's request.

Quite a while back I wrote how he wanted viewers to fund a road trip.
Basically he wanted them to pay for his holiday which he would film and they could watch it on his vlog.

Recently one of his vlogs was devoted to how expensive it is to renovate and how everyone could support him financially . . . he really pissed me off.

Also . . . explaining his plan of action for the next part of the renovation, three times in one vid . . . is content padding and just plain boring.
Get out and clean up that tip of a yard.

I go back and forth about Sean.
He seems like a nice enough chap but when he starts with the very blatant e begging it's a big turn off.

Wooooow! Just wooooow! I'm appalled by this kind of behavior! What amazes me more is, that there are people sending them money!

I want to go on holiday, please fund it! No, you don't go on holidays if you can't afford it.
I want to renovate a cottage.please fund it!
Get a job to fund the renovations! Don't feel entitled to someone else money!!!

You don't go on holidays, you don't go to restaurants, you don't renovate a house, you don't upgrade your kitchen IF YOU CAN NOT AFFORD IT! You sit your grown ass down, work and make the best of what you have.

my friend with chickens has this auto feeder the chicken learns to step on a metal bar the feeder opens they eat and when they leave it closes. no rodent problem. also a nice secure closure for night all hardware cloth ( stainless steel mesh ) that encloses the coop, dug down into the ground all around the outside to keep the predators out. I am surprised they have not lost chickens to the Pine martens ( which Fanny said the had in the woods) either way , why she has any animals at all is a mystery, she doesn't care they would all die without the others looking after them. That is the trouble Fanny, has never had to be responsible for another living thing. Makes me sad and angry at the same time, as one who has worked more than one job at a time as a single Mom most of my life, while still having dogs and a birds and a fish tank and a child and they all survived. I rarely travel as there is too much to do at home, it's too costly, and I love being home. it's like Fanny is just running away from herself all the time.

Most of us do not live like Fanny. We’ve had to work at least one job at a time, if we were fortunate or chose to go to college, we worked our way through. We’ve made sacrifices to raise our families, taken care of our aging relatives all the while taking care of our homes without patrons and responsibilities of animals and growing food to eat. I guess I can admit that it’s probably what attracted me to her in the beginning. She was living in a chateau (such as it was). Doing all she could with the help of her mother after they had lost the patriarch of their family. It all turned out to be smoke and mirrors and she is totally unrecognizable from those early days. I can’t relate to any of it. They are a group of people there now with every opportunity to make a difference but they choose to waste their lives doing nothing for anyone.

Didn’t Stephanfraudie repeatedly say that work in the chapel was to begin in November?And now it is April 2024? What a pathological liar. What happened to the back steps of the Dump this year? Nothing. Frankenfraudie promised that work was to begin in April, 2023 on the back steps. That never happened. Has the heating been finished? She has promised that heating system would be fully installed months ago.

What about all the walls and ceilings that were collapsing in the not so grand salon as well as the bedrooms above it as of last December, 2022?Frankenfraudie cried and ebegged money to fix her collapsing dump, but has done zero work towards it. Instead during this past year, she has used the not so grand salon as a sewing room, junkyard, and massage parlor. CD viewers also think builder Ian is still on an extended cruise ( more than a year +) on his sailboat……..did he take the missing accountants and accounts with him? Another big fat lie from the pathological liar Stephanie Jarvis.

I am calling Stephanfraudie Frankenfraudie for the Halloween season.

Did everyone notice that there was substantially more food on the plates during the guest dinner with Permasmile and Whatshisname hosting? Wonder why that might be...

Everything looks better without Fanny and Snorts. The food; the table; the atmosphere; the vlog, and, despite Permasmile's cheesiness, they were far more welcoming to the guests. The staff are also much more natural and cheerful without Fanny.

I cringed when I saw you drilling that metal beam with all of those shards coming out, and you were not wearing safety glasses! I can tell you, from personal experience, that having a metal shard embedded in your eye is painful. It took six surgeries to remove all of one that landed in my eye at age thirteen. Wearing safety glasses might seem like a bother, but having a doctor digging in your eye six times while you are fully conscious is far worse!

The amount of messages advising our man to employ better safety standards over every video upload he has made tells me from experience that it’s only a matter of time before there is an accident of some kind. My major concern is the risks he takes while working on the site

Eyes are precious.
BIL got a shard in an eye while mowing lawns lost the sight in that eye. Then 10 or so years later it ulcerated so was removed and a false one is now in place

Ha. Love love love safety glasses. Why ? Because plural. If I lose an eye, I'd then wear a safety glass. I'm always safe, however ... I've never had shards fly up into my eye, by drilling down. Usually in the eye, by drilling UP.

he works very risk-averse in many situations anyway. Push / bring the USB plate one etrage higher without gloves. And then, at some point, he chases a splinter into his hand or fingers. This can also lead to suppuration very quickly.

I think we will have to accept that, despite all protestations, there is no hope of Dan listening . I have toyed with this matter for some time now as I am an early subscriber to the château renovation. The plea for basic safety standards, tough shoes, working gloves , hardhats et cetera fall on deaf ears. Dan is a high risk taker have a serious accident. I think Daniel is in this for the short term, and I can’t imagine the chateau being completed in the next 20 years. The standard of work is amateurish . The income from this YouTube channel including patrons must be around €15,000 per week according to some analytical sites. This is a moneymaking deal. Sorry to say all this but I thought much about this comments ,enjoy him and you can . This is really a reality show with one performer.

Given the man wears absolutely no protection for anything, KitKat will be preggers by Christmas.

After watching it I also gotta say it was pretty mean-spirited. The dig came from Maria, but Steph seemed to have no problem joining in. Marie played along, but yeah, it's weird to joke about it considering what she had shared about her struggles in the past. Later in the episode, Maria also pointed out Marie's dress in a somewhat dismissive way. Honestly, it doesn't seem like a healthy environment for Marie.

MariE is still incredibly vulnerable. Now she has no real job as her foraging will stop along with the bnb . Somehow she has no winter clothes and is sniffing and full of cold. How will she cope with the winter as it appears the heating is not finished or on.
Fanny is playing with fire manipulating and gaslighting Marie. It is not funny and is uncomfortable to watch .
All Fanny cares about is making content. With out a car and no guests winter is going to be a challenge for Marie.
I think Fanny lured her back but is not spending time with Marie or taking her on girly outings like the good old pre snorts days.
Living with someone who is suicidal I can honestly say that what they need is love, care, support and encouragement and also a purpose. Even with this it is not always enough.
I am speaking with raw emotion having had police respond to my partner being rescued from a railway bridge Monday ….again and now a hospital admission in a secure unit.
Dont mess with people’s lives Fanny.

More on my cautionary accidents at work tale for Dickhead Dan. This week it's been Mr Spratt's turn involving an angle grinder.

He has recently changed a clients heating from oil to gaz and was cutting up the old oil tank for removal using an angle grinder. As they can sometimes do when they touch the cutting surface, it kicked back. Luckily it's not a deep cut but he's got a quite large and painful graze that goes right across his thigh and a shredded pair of trousers. It's a job he's done many many times before but again it's just one of those unfortunate things that can happen in a second.

Luckily he was on the ground doing this imagine, if like Dan, he was up on scaffolding and it happened.

Also Mr Spratt's builder friend who recently felll off a roof and sustained quite serious injuries, very worryingly is back in hospital for the third time.
He has now got a very bad chest infection, probably as a resut from the broken ribs, finding it difficult to breathe. If I was his wife I'd be so scared right now as this could easily get worse.

He's 60 and had been considering retiring, the decision has now been made for him as he may not be able to work anymore.

Take note Dan, you're not invincible. These are two experienced people and it shows just how easily it happens.

The recent posts made me think. Cheesecloth was very fashionable when got I married in the 70s. I had a gorgeous floaty cream cheesecloth dress for my "going away outfit." (Remember when that was a thing! ) I kept it as it was so pretty. I finally altered it just a little to fit my 10 yr grand-daughter to wear for the late Queen's Platinum jubilee celebrations at school, when each class dressed from a decade of the Queen's reign. Her class was allocated the 1970s so it was perfect!
It was quite similar to this but it was cream with Bishop style sleeves.
