I just looked over the Chateau Wrap up Comment section. Was Scotchette, who was banned here on Tattle, Phi Phi? Here is the comment thread with Scotchette, posted hours ago in the Chateau Wrap up comment section, who wants to find out the identity of Clara Burnette, does not like Nutty or Amaury, and is upset phi phi is targeted on Tattle, does phi phi have a beef with Honfleur, etc. Scotchette was rude to Jeeves and Clara when posting here,What do you think after reading the comments on this thread. Is this Phi Phi in the Chateau Wrap up comment section under the alias Scotchette? The tone and wording sounds to me like Phi Phi. A few hours after the last comment in this thread by Scotchette, Caroline Gooder appeared in the Wrap up comment section.

Either she has been rumbled by Steph and has been frightened off, or she is keeping a low profile whilst preparing to unleash a final, fatal, unveiling of the CD shenanigans. Maybe she is planning to be your next vlog guest? If only Tattle would let new members join again. Those wanting to 'come over to the dark side' have nowhere to go any more ( unless of course they are members of the OB network and can get the secret referral code

). I think there would be a lot more 'intel' available if they let outsiders in again, as there seems to be a small but definite shift in the willingness of Steph's patrons to swallow her endless reasons as to why their massive amount of renovation contributions don't appear to be making much difference to LaLande. They need somewhere to vent!

I've been banned because they thought I was a flying monkey and Clara Burnett told me to read all the threads from the beginning of Tattle life. One thing Tattle life doesn't seem to understand is that when you start watching Chateau diaries, most people including myself, have no idea how the Patreons' accounts work or what monetizing a Youtube channel means. You have that suggestion on Youtube from the algorithms, you start watching the vlogs and you have fun. I had a lot of time to do that. I binge-watched all her videos. I did my research on Google and found Tattle.

@scotchette Sorry you had a bad experience on Tattle. I have followed the CD threads there almost from the start and could never understand the unwritten rules regarding 'flying monkeys' - people, especially newbies, were often singled out randomly and given a hard time. I would be sorry to see the forum die though, because it is the only place where people can go to rant without being censored. There is a lot I have to 'scroll past' on Tattle, but at its heart I think there are a few people who are genuinely trying to right a wrong regarding someone crying 'poor', asking for money, receiving it and then disrespecting the kind hearted, trusting people that donated. People like that need a place to let off steam and find others who have been similarly taken in. That is the main reason that I hope the Tattle forum will not die and will open up again to newbies very soon. Just a thought: do the VIPs and regular contributors on the CD Tattle thread even realise that new registrations have been stopped?

I was also singled out as someone else. I was flattered and reached VIP status before that other person (not that that is an indication of anything) I found I had little to contribute further down the line and I am not into speculation so much. I enjoy a catch up every now and then and I realise nothing much has changed on CD. I wonder how she gets away with things and personally, having toured around France wouldn't pay those prices for that accomodation. The hackling laugh and the snort would have me packing my bags and running. Not to mention the filthy kitchen.

@scotchette mostly the lack of decent facilities as a B &B. Heat for the past few years (that is a big one as the place looks cold) Over priced evening meals and waiting for them to grace their paying customers with their presence- food must be cold. I remember porky mitts at one point. Other issues would be lack of toilet facilities for the number of guests on the premises. I expect those old chamber pots come in handy

@Marney P I think the "ambiance" in the shito changed when the cousin arrived. I think they were all having fun and suddenly, people left one after the other. Marie W, Ian, etc. Amaury is not a team worker. He's a loner. I don't think he fitted in the shito. I also think, he was asking too much money for the structural issues and Nick, Potts and her decided they needed professional help to fix the place. Problem: It's gonna cost them more but they probably want something professional this time? Nasti and him are lost souls. They were spoiled for a while by the shitelaine. Vacations in Argentina, vacations in Venice, Trianon party in Paris. I think the party is over for them and it's probably not her decision. Amaury is family but the 3 owners run a business. She is the cash cow, so they have to protect her, take care of her health, she is running the show. I just read on Tattle that Nasti complained that she had to eat her food cold because they had to wait for the Shitelaine and her lover. She doesn't even cook. I'm sure the shitelaine has friends who want to come this summer and she needed space. She always had a nice way to get rid of people. The problem: no grand salon, dangerous surrounding. I'm out.

9 hours ago @scotchette I have travelled Europe extensively for work and pleasure. I think they would get a 1 star for location at best and it is in the middle of nowhere. If I was Chateau hopping, then Honfleur (if they still did B &B would have been an option. I have stayed in some wonderful places and that is way down the list.

Hmm, well of all of Fanny's half-baked "projects", the "downstairs loo" and the "Daddy wallpaper" one (also on the ground floor) were kind of almost finished this year (they had working loos, but the sinks were questionable- because hand washing and hygiene are overrated at LaLande.) I am beginning to think she makes guests sign NDAs and take the "blue bill" (it's Immodium) at the beginning of any stay.

After watching todays Patreon videos, I am convinced Potts is totally committed to the grifting now he has quit his Amsterdam job and is doing photography and living at the Dump when not traveling. He is sitting pretty in Mummy’s apartment while Patrons pay for heating to be installed in his apartment, baking for the Shittelaine non stop, performing for the cameras with prepared jokes, starting the fire in her apartment while Snorts has been sent away on a bogus architectural/ design consultation, and bringing her tea and hot cross bun to her bedside. Was Potts sleeping in Fanny’s bedroom since Snorts was gone? Did Ruthie appear at the Dump for Easter? Ruthie time travels a lot when assigning dates to ohotos and events on her social media.

I think I became a psychic, I knew that Nasti was a witch before the Selmargate. Nobody believed me on Tattle. And I knew that Dan was with Cat. The vlog when they were together in her sport car, the back and forth to London. Eating with her in London. I knew it was her. God my instinct is so good about people, I'm scaring myself. After watching todays Patreon videos, I am convinced Potts is totally committed to the grifting now he has quit his Amsterdam job and is doing photography and living at the Dump when not traveling. He is sitting pretty in Mummy’s apartment while Patrons pay for heating to be installed in his apartment, baking for the Shittelaine non stop, performing for the cameras with prepared jokes, starting the fire in her apartment while Snorts has been sent away on a bogus architectural/ design consultation, and bringing her tea and hot cross bun to her bedside. Was Potts sleeping in Fanny’s bedroom since Snorts was gone? Did Ruthie appear at the Dump for Easter? Ruthie time travels a lot when assigning dates to ohotos and events on her social media.

I think I remember that a dinner at old Stef's Castle is rather expensive so it was interesting to see what the new season Fruit Bats paid to have ...... only the fish ( and I am not sure if this was a "cheap fish" in France) would be the bulk of the expenditure - the rest was very cheap.
Does anyone know what that meal would have cost them?

As for Snorty ...... I wish Bun Boy would find his hidey spot for his crappy beanies and throw them on the fire!

The lighting the makeup what ever those cheeks looked like they were going to burst from her face. and Snorty in the knit beanie??????? does he think this is a good look- for heavens sake wash your hair , get it cut and move on- wearing a beanie 24/7 just looks stupid I am now fully retired and drinking way too much wine to celebrate and it's not even Friday in the VIP lounge. hip hip hurrah for me ....

"Fanny Explains it All"- why they do not wash their eggs (which is the norm in Europe , you damn Yanks, because unwashed eggs have a protective coating so they do not require refrigeration.) But, many DO wash their eggs right before use (because they are kind of dirty), and WASH their hands immediately afterwards regardless of whether they washed their eggs or not. Seeing Fanny crack poo-covered eggs and proceed to prepare food with her grubby mitts really put me off....

Now that I live in the US, the land of pre-washed eggs that need refrigeration, I still wash my eggs before I use them (because I am odd like that). And I wash my hands after cracking one open into a pan or for a recipe. Since I multi-task while making brekkie (washing the dogs' water bowl and refilling it, starting a load of wash, prepping the pups' brekkie, loading an insulin injection for Luna...), I am constantly washing my hands and wiping down my countertops... with soap! Based on the Shitoo's sink location to disgusting food prep table, the whole lot of them would be quite fit if they were making that back and forth trek to wash their filthy mitts and could easily log 10K steps a day on their FitBit (that is the WORST kitchen design ever). But alas, they do not. Crikey, at this point Kirsty could come in from tending to the chickens and the garden without a proper hand wash and might as well just start making dinner!

Don't even get me started on how long food was "hanging out" on the disgusting tabletop before serving... SMH. Like her weekly vlog, where the food was still on the table after the Ten Berghe crew departed (and Fanny stated they were going to eat again- brunch and then again tea- ugh, that cheesecakey thing and all of the other foodstuffs were still sitting on the table! hours later) Non. WHY?!?

It has never crossed my mind to wash my eggs. Only time they go under water is to stop the cooking process after they have been hard boiled. It must be a cultural thing.
I run a very neat and clean kitchen. So now I’m going to be thinking of you T Rex every time I use eggs. Unwashed of course.
