I grew up with radiator covers, and the answer is no. They prevent burns and are level.

@caroline gooder We have radiator covers in some of our rooms but I have to say that the radiators in these rooms are less efficient. And we don't have big rooms.

She reminds me of a friend's father. He grew up poor but became really rich later in life. If we went to his estate, there was always some fuckery with water/heat/ whatever that only happened during visits. Like he COULD NOT STAND for people to enjoy themselves. I would do the same, but not before demanding answers from Stephanie Jarvis for allowing the harassment to happen. Yet, strange as it seems, she's permitting it to continue. No other patrons have asked what the hell is going on, and that would be my very first question! Strange indeed! Her patrons are attacking other patrons, questioning their motives, making patrons suspicious of fellow patrons, and all that does is alienate her fan base. Any sensible person would put a stop to it immediately. This harassment and on her own platform, does in no way project the sweetness and light image she has tried so hard to cultivate. It's destroying it. If Stephanie continues to allow this to happen, patrons will leave in droves and she can kiss her 'brand' goodbye.

How many of the patrons actually watch the (cough) exclusive, bonus vlogs? There are, apparently, 4,000-plus patrons. Do the views ever even vaguely correlate with this figure? (I’m taking the number at face vale and assuming the Patron number is bonafide)

Allowing the comments to become such a febrile forum is shameful. These vicious verbal vipers, spewing venom, should not be tolerated if the content creator had an ounce of sense. If any of them are part of SJ’s coterie, they demonstrate that SJ holds her supporters in utter contempt and couldn’t give a flying fig about the integrity of the juggernaut she unwittingly created. Even the dimmest of the dim should see that it reflects so badly on the “brand”.

Bad enough to allow (and occasionally engage in) toxic comments on YT (live chat and the main comments section) - a public platform - but to allow such behaviour within the confines of the private Patreon chat is astonishing. By doing so and not stamping on targetted assaults on other patrons is condoning such behaviour.

Chloe (I forget her surname) wrote two really well thought out comments which others have posted about on here. The first was, I thought, excellent - measured, constructive not destructive, no histrionics. She was laid into quite disgracefully. Her response was as good, if not better, as her first comment. Why she or anyone else should be harangued unchecked is beyond my comprehension

Totally agree. Not a William Morris fan either. Taste aside they are doing something with it and working hard daily. We love to see it.

And let me add I also hate Billy's taste. But it's fun to see him get things done with zero excuses.

Curiouser and curiouser! Bevan Buckland Llp are chartered accountants. As both oily and fanny are based outside the UK they will need a registered address in the UK for this new UK registered company that they have set up. And it is generally the companies accountants address. So someone, a partner of this firm of accountants will be the financial director. The law is England and Wales. Scotland is a different kettle of fish.

This from gov.co.uk about setting up companies. They've sunk a bit of cash into this, you can't do it for free. Back in the day it was about £25 registration fee. Bet it's a whole lot more post Brexit. I wonder where their tax liability is? @Yebo will know all the ins and outs on this.

I remember her really commenting a lot (ALOT) in the live chats and she came across as excessively exuberant about the shittoo, but perhaps that's because English is her second language. I actually thought the info on Jetje goes Dutch was common knowledge here. I assumed everyone was aware she had her own channel too. She posts regularly on practically every chateau channel there is. I don't know if she's a "patron" of any of them though. It's never occurred to me to find out (mainly, admittedly, because I don't give a toss ). She's a huge Stephanie fan and posts on every single vlog premiere, plus she's always and without fail, there posting on Patrick and Stuart's premieres. In fact, it's hard to find a chateau channel she doesn't post on. When the Australian/German couple from "Selling Up and Buying a Chateau" first appeared I thought to myself, 'betcha Jetje turns up' and yes, there she was posting hearty welcomes to the chateauverse, advising them to get in touch with Stephanie, and patting herself on the back for finding a new chateau channel.

I sincerely doubt Jetje's daughter knows Snorts. In all I see, I find no reason to connect them.

Pre brexit you didn't have to be UK resident to set up a UK company, but at least one director did have to be resident and "physically" so not just on paper. You did, however, have to have limited liability.
