Me too ……they keep finding the same old stuff but I live in hope. I also have a sort of secret crush on Rick Lagina & I have no idea why. 😎
Rick is such a poet, isn’t he? He’s a Renaissance man in the truest sense of the word. I hope they do get all the answers and solve the damn mystery, although I will secretly miss the show then...

That is one of the most bizarre things I have ever heard.

I'm waiting for Philip to get his ears pierced.
Both of them.
Then I want him to wear pearl studs.
Omg! I actually snorted! I definitely want to see him in pearl studs! :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

A lot of other chateau channels are starting their kitchen renovations. Poor Stephanie, if only she could afford to renovate her’s. Maybe we should start a Go Fund Me for the missing new Lalande kitchen?

I watched this video yesterday and damn- I’ve been ruined! All I could see is Phillip and SJ (disclaimer: you may freak out).
Anyway, it’s important to be comfortable in your skin and everything else.
However PJ identifies isn’t the reason we dislike him (who cares and why should he), it’s everything else. Really though, who knows… maybe he’s an alright fellow. 🤣🤷‍♀️

Domna, I am all for bringing Stephanie Jarvis down. Respectfully, ascribing the Harry derail chat as a plot by Jarvis, or as collaboration with Jarvis by Tattlers, is a flaw in your formidable and effective surveillance. Think of the discussion of Sussex narcissicism/performativity as oxygen improving our bubble-boy-world discernment of Jarvis. We are not the enemy. There's a difference between ride and die and blood oaths.
Salutations.
A plot? A collaboration? Seriously, this is getting ridiculous. All I said was that Stephanie Jarvis was probably happy with the royal derail. There is absolutely no reason for anyone to take that remark more serious than anything else said here.

Can you give us a list of whom she's slept with then?
Even if I could, no. I guess by now everybody has given up keeping score.

i think @Clara Burnett sources say she is at the dump-eau but things aren’t adding up. Then again, things never add up when there are so many lies in action.
Like I said, my educated guess is they are in South Africa by now. Most of Christmas flogs were prerecorded, some really early on. She did spend Christmas in the shittoo though, I am quite sure of that. There's a lot of strategy being pushed and tried, like the "collapse" of the oldest part of her CHMN, but Stephanie Jarvis has not yet decided what the way forward will be, so she's mostly sticking to what she already knows and what has brought her succes before: confusing her audience with messy timelines.

As I get older I am trying to "declutter" I know that upon my death my only son will auction off the contents of the house and dumpster the rest. And that's ok. My neighbor died a a year and a half ago, his son took over the house and he died 4 months later. ( he had advanced cancer) his son took over the house ordered a dumpster and started throwing everything out- I went over and was happy to purchase an antique bedroom set for 125.00 US and about 40 free mason canning jars. My point is to us it might be worth something or a memory, to others it's just junk. Cherish the relationships and people in your life the rest is just clutter. IMHO

I know what you mean.
Cherished possessions can be meaningless to those who come after us.
Clearing an estate is very time consuming and requires thought.
Sometimes people just can't be bothered with the sorting and cleaning, and overlook heirlooms and valuables.
It's just so much 'easier' to throw the lot in the skip or take it to the tip.
This will be the next thing to be done at my Mum's place, luckily she wasn't someone who kept things as she really didn't like clutter and had charity shopped a lot of stuff years ago. There are only three things she asked me to 'look after' that were of true sentimental value to her, the rest she said tip or charity shop. The only crap in her house at the moment is what my brother left and put in the attic when he moved out and his overflow of crap he's put back in since being in his own place as his wife doesn't like clutter. Luckily it's either in the attic or out in the shed but not my problem, he put it there.

I doubt very much if many Americans have ever heard of Slovenia or Slovakia, let alone know what continent they're on. Europe is France, Italy, Germany and maybe Spain for those that don't get it mixed up with Mexico. I can say this because I'm American and a retired educator. It's always shocking to me about the incredible ignorance Americans have about geography. It's embarrassing.
it is the same here...a lott of years ago there was a tvshow about holidays...they visited people on holiday in europe..they asked them if they could point out were they were...the most akward places turned up...people on holiday in Spain pointed out they were in South Africa... and there were a lott of them...who were wrong...

After recently clearing my in law's house, I feel sorry for the person who, down the line, will have to deal with clearing all the crap out of the HMN.

thats very true...when my aunt died, my sister took a huge chimneypiece with her...a clock and two statues...matching together..it always looked very nice on my aunts mantlepiece...it was an old house with a fabulous fireplace...my sister put in in her very luxery but modern house on a dresser..she hates fireplaces..too much dirt....it looks like she has been to the brocante...so cheap..when you take pieces out of their original content... it mostly looks just cheap crap..

I am not sure Fanny has banged Dan-there is chemistry there but it doesn't seem to ring true with me. Annalise has been way too friendly and if Fanny had a fling with Dan I think Annalise would have made sure her hair went green. The Shitto lifestyle turned Dan's head and all the partying and playing teenager was instrumental in their marriage breakdown and the beginning of that no marks mid life crisis-but has Fanny been there? I am not sold-if it has or does happen it will be just a fling-Dan is too feisty and too rough for Fanny to consider long term. Fanny likes her men metro sexual and easily pliable and not sure Dan is either of those things.

I'm trying to think of the last time there was only 4 of you in the chateau. It must be months ago. At least you won't have to cook until the weekend again with all of that food...more time for editing. :) It's fun to watch the preparations for the next season begin - the gardening, the heating, the building, the planning, and even the season of quotes! Ha! Thanks for the video Stephanie.

Yes, they’ve just left and are back in the UK. I usually film the Patreon videos on the day itself, so that you have the most up-to-date information. This one was filmed today. You should get a structural survey for the whole Chateau-I suspect you have a lot of movement probably water table with the lake being drained and the very hot summer. Get a complete survey and put your mind at ease. Also please try and get a team of workman in-Ian must be better now and you have the money and then you can really get on with renovations it is way too much for just the wonderful Amaury. Happy New Year.

The pool table (USA here) looks fantastic. Years ago I restored an antique Brunswick table (again USA antique age - relative). I've loved the game ever since my grandfather taught it to me at the local pool hall. On the abundance of Kale.... Stephanie, your Uncle’s brooch is a silver fox. In the US, and perhaps in Europe as well, a silver fox is what we call an exceedingly handsome (and ofttimes charming) man with gray or graying hair. Pretty appropriate for him doncha think?

MaryEllen Meekins

Here's a suggestion for the kale. Clean, destem, and freeze it. Then you will have it whenever you want. We love kale in a hearty soup that we call Italian meatball soup. I think it's proper name is Italian wedding soup, but that's just the foundation recipe, we believe in adding to and improving. LOL. Mom adds carrots, onions, corn, and pasta to the recipe we have. And instead of Swiss chard we use Kale. Oh! And instead of putting the cheese in the soup we put it on the individual servings kind of like french onion soup.

Some thoughts on today’s Patreon video: To be properly attired for a billiard game of snooker, gentlemen should be dressed in a waistcoat and bow tie --- along with other necessary attire of course. I wish I was lucky enough to have Stephen and Chantal drop by my house on their way back home and cook up a delicious meal as they so enviably do at Lalande. I’d even be willing to cover any additional transportation costs to go a little out of their way. I think Kirsty’s warmth of character, natural charm and engaging smile might be just enough to make the apple trees blossom any time of the year. Kudos to Amaury on his open willingness to give up about one-third of his workspace for the new heating system. Everyone wins with that much appreciated exchange and I bet things at Lalande are going to be heating up very soon. From soup to nuts is definitely one thing you can’t say about Philip’s mega-pot of soup, for not a solitary nut will be found… but you could say Philip has created a tasty blend of alphabet soup, from A to Z --- aubergine to zucchini. Great job Philip… and there might even be enough to last through the winter.

My in-laws had some nice pieces of furniture, art and paintings. But they had set them up badly. Antiques need space around them to work. You can't / shouldn't treat them like Ikea and put them sidewall to sidewall*. They had a nice antique secretary with marquetry in their upstairs hallway, next to a huge cupboard of a different style, shape and woodcolour, vis-à-vis bookshelfs from the 60s.........and all full of clutter. Looked nearly brocante. We took the secretary to our house and gave it a space on the wall all alone on one side of the door of our salon. Looks gorgeous now and works well with the rest of our salon furniture that is more modern.

*And that's one big reason for the unpopularity of antique furniture. They need space and modern flats or houses are tiny. Therefore heirs are not fond of taking them. Amy and Marc did some nice purchases for that reason. In one of their adventvlogs Marc shows how big their armoires are. They only fit in a castle.

Manipulated time lines and continuous lies has made me very cynical, I think they all throw us red herrings for shits and giggles, inc and especially Stuart and Dan. I think they mischievously post something and wait for us to jump on it. Dan’s photo could be a stock photo for all we know? There is nothing about it to place him there, especially on that date.

Looking back I think Dan and Dana going to a gig together was a look here and not there situ, I’m sure that was around the time we were starting to pick up on the fact he and Fanny were getting too flirty.

They deceive and mislead in every single way possible imo.

Dan, did you stop off for two nights before heading on to South Africa?

Once the new furnace is installed in the Stable/Amaury workshop, will the old system be removed from the Laundry room? Or even part of it?

I was going to ask exactly the same question!

Yes, part of it will be removed, though I think that there will still be water tanks there 😊

I have been to that restaurant. I would love to know how Dan is funding all this as well as supporting his kids-he is a complete gobshite. To be honest I am so bored of Fanny I just am baffled how she still has a following? When will they see what we see? She is definitely away at the moment the patreon flog recorded ages ago you can tell by her very folded and creased forehead it was before the Christmas botox- I imagine the same time she went to that Chateau Christmas Market at that Chateau where she bought the oversized cones. She is a horror of a human being I am afraid.

We’re also getting a full structural survey of the chapel, after discovering the issues with the buttresses. All spare money will be going into the restoration of the chapel as it seems the most urgent along with the grand salon.
Another survey??? If there’s one things Fanny knows how to get, it’s a survey! She excels at getting surveys. Doesn’t do anything with them, but loves to get them! She could wallpaper a f***ing room with all the damn surveys!!!!

without addressing the lake and the whole structure it is doomed. She is just playing for time. Bugger all will happen this year again of that I am confident. I loathe her at this point she is just a dirty con-she can wrap it all up in surveys and tie a bow on it but underneath she is a crook

Wow - who knew that level of ignorance really existed?
Not to take a swipe at our friends Stateside, but I never forgot the nationwide questionnaire that National Geographic carried out some years back. They presented an A3 map of the US and asked questions like, "Show me where we are", where is New York" etc. The answers were shocking, some didn't realise what Canada was!
