Billy is a hypocritical ass and a deserter. He was found guilty of desertion in court. He has no problems bullying others; He’s been rude in responses to comments on his vlogs. And the way he’s treated Alexander on occasion makes me wonder why the curtain maker keeps coming back. Billy’s desertion is typical Petherick boy behavior…when the going gets tough, just run away.I truly and honestly feel that Billy was bullied by his superiors. It is defo not uncommon imho.
My village has one with VR on it!I think letter boxes may stay the same as there are still some around with GR on them.
Please. politely, let it go. I have merely pointed out the rules. I had them pointed out to me a few years ago when I thought it was acceptable to call someone out on something. If you feel my posts are not acceptable then it is perfectly acceptable to report me or ignore me. Have a lovely evening.I don't need to because I know who I am.
And, I totally agree with you - ignore each other in the future. Absolutely no problem for me as I have always found you to be so extremely judgemental/self righteous and, on many occasions, not particularly kind either in your observations too.
1. It's a gossip site!!!!! This excuse has been trotted out countless times for baseless viciousness here. I deploy it with deep sarcasm.Harsh!
As if the downstairs barth-room wasn't grubby enough, no loo paper! Will someone please send a note that the fancy bathroom downstairs with the peeling/mis-matched wallpaper is out of toilet paper. Thank you.
Comments from the latest flog...Don’t post on here much but I do check in to find out what’s going on every day. Jason Dubey has posted on his fb that there is a a serious fire in close proximity to his inn. I think so far he is safe and his inn is safe so I’m hoping this continues to be the case. He has been interviewed on local tv about it!

Fire near the American River Inn update: the video is from first thing this morning before speaking with the Officers on Duty when I found out that we are safe for now. The fire is close and we are totally smoked in. We are home and we are ok. If we have to leave we will. Please pray for Divine protection.
Xoxo
Not until he's proclaimed, then crowned. So it's God Save the Queen till that time.Well I've been quiet for so long but last nights "tribute "has spurred me back into action.
How disrespectful to the late Queen to sing the national anthem - fanny obviously didn't take note of the words.
How disrespectful to the new King as he became King as soo as his mum died - and therfore he now reigns over us.
Have to disagree with you - and so will the congregation at St. Paul's Cathedral this evening with the first official rendition of God Save the King. Not until he's proclaimed, then crowned. So it's God Save the Queen till that time.
It would be a bit sick to sing God Save the Queen now wouldn't it. I agree with you and I think The Telegraph does tooHave to disagree with you - and so will the congregation at St. Paul's Cathedral this evening with the first official rendition of God Save the King.
Hell must be frozen, I've finally appreciated a post from Ms. Gooder!Comments from the latest flog...

This was a beacon of light on a diffucult day. My English partner and I have been deeply saddened by the loss of HRH Queen Elizabeth II. We have a wildfire burning near the American River Inn and they are evacuating three miles away from the Inn. We are not evacuating yet, and I am hopeful the fire will not reach the town or the Inn. Please pray for us in California. Dauphin Dubey, your Dauphin on Lalande.

@The Chateau Diaries Thank you Stephanie. I was just told by my sister in law who walked over to the fire department that people are evacuating in town, but it is not mandatory at this time. The fire is about 15 miles away and the mandatory evacuation is all the way to Breedlove Road which is three miles up the hill. Until now I have not been worried, but now it seems that the situation is changing rapidly. I am praying for Divine protection

@Jason Dubey Pack up and leave with your sister-in-law. I have seen wild fire and you can't out drive it easily. Lives are more important than things. Praying for your family.
@billybudd Thank you for the article. I have never been keen on Charles, and the article reminded me why.I am getting fairly bad vibes from Waity Charley and gollum-eyed Camilla. About seven adjectives too many in his statement of bereavement, and now he's out gladhanding.
In about a week, the more sober news commentators will start talking about whether or not a monarch almost as famous for being "a world class whinger" as he is for being royal, can pivot his character to one more stoic and king like. They're already talking about whether or not he can be, as the law commands, less meddling as a monarch than he was as Prince of Wales.
I've admired his work on the environment (totally ganked from Prince Philip) since the '70s.
But I think the answer to the question is no. He will finish as he as become, Charles the Petulant, petulance enabled and impelled by his conniving partner. And the UK will move further toward the end of the constitutional monarchy. I think this is a shame.

Long before Prince Harry penned his highly anticipated memoir, Prince Charles took aim at palace life with a TV special and a tome of his own.www.vanityfair.com
does Sadie crown on her inside wrist mean something for her too. Was she also military?I thought so too. But on reflection I think that having previously been one of the Queen's Household Guards and deserting, anything more would have been somewhat hypocritical.
Oh yours is miles better than my don’t blink or you will miss him video.Tattlers favourite Johnny the Bonnie
Sorry beachgirl just seen your previous post
I’ve not been in CDLL threads since the untimely demise of our wonderful, inspiring and most dutiful Elizabeth Regina. I have to admit I’m so far behind commentary, but did read the Clara post with affection and watched the ‘day before’ video with slightly less affection.I am getting fairly bad vibes from Waity Charley and gollum-eyed Camilla. About seven adjectives too many in his statement of bereavement, and now he's out gladhanding.

I suspect if Fanny was remotely anti monarchy it would only be because she's not a member. If a member of the aristocracy, any aristocracy be it British, French, Italian or from wherever ever paid court to her, she'd jump into his pockets faster than you could blink. She'd lie to herself and call it true romance too. I think she loves the idea of nobility and the aristocracy and is screaming jealous she's never been a part of it nor will she be. Her only consolation is being able to say she lives in a chateau once owned by nobility too, even if in reality it's a farm house pig sty that she's managed to make even more ugly since moving in.Just wondering……SJ barely acknowledged the Jubilee. This God save the Queen stunt felt very much tossed together for the viewers. Maybe they are anti monarchy?! Just a thought.
Gin and tonic was a favourite with the royalsSo since it is Friday night & we are celebrating our new VIP’s what is everyone drinking tonight? I think that I will have champagne topped off with lemon cello. Some hot and cold Hors D’oeuvres. Some lovely Scottish smoked salmon in honour of the Queen and maybe one of her favourite cocktails.
