Your viewers are very generous, but there is no way your going to feasibly use all these gifts. However, there is a brilliant idea that you could set up your own brocant in one of the rooms of the Chateau, that is self service of course, where visitors and guests could buy the gifts sent to this channel, and the funds raised could support rennovations. A money box could be set up for buying the items and Phillip would be brilliant in setting the shop up with unusual ways to display items. . It is a way your viewers could help with the Chateau building projects and guests could have their own souvenir of their stay. A win win proposition. For instance , can one use twenty five beautiful silk scarves, 75 necklaces, or 100 earings ? Not really. But many guests would love to purchase these items in celebration of their stay. It also broadens the definition of what viewers can "gift" to the Chateau. It gives another new purpose to this gift channel. Chateau Unwrapped Gift Store Channel.

I’m sorry to hear your husband has COVID. Last year my partner got COVID, but I didn’t. We stayed apart…slept in separate rooms. And it was warm enough that I was able to open windows in the house to let in fresh air. I would sit by an open window during the day. With some luck, you might be able to avoid it. Hope he gets well soon!

My hubby had it 3 weeks ago and I didn't pick it up. He was completely asymptomatic so we hadn't isolated from each other. Fingers crossed it skips you too. Hope hubby isn't feeling too unwell.x

Thanks for the positive thoughts everyone. My husband has been mad at me since Saturday, so he had been keeping his distance for the last few days. Lucky for me! He’s been quarantined to our bedroom since yesterday. He felt pretty rough, but better today. So far so good. I still don’t want it.

If I were she & him I would be asking for some £ out of that chateau. Gone are the days where Fanny needed the boys to support her financially. It's an expensive timeshare destination for the amount of £ they have invested.

If she has left her flower wagon at Nikkis it means she is "trapped" at Lalande and "under the control" of those with the keys to the communal bumperless car.

We've all suffered bouts of depression or know friends and loved one's who have been afflicted with depression: we know it's not something to be swept under the rug or dismissed. I have no doubt Marie has some deep-seeded issues and whole-heartedly wish she would get professional medical attention for her emotional (depression) and physical (thryoid) needs.

However, my spider sense says that while Marie is down in the dumps her recent cry for help is very manipulative. Fanny is only 'saving Marie' for image control. Two very manipulative women in an unhealthy dynamic.

Returning to the shiteau and living with Stephanie et al is the last place Marie should be. The shiteau became an unhealthy environment for Marie and nothing has changed: in fact it's only gotten worse at the shiteau and Fanny has new victims playmates to live, love and laugh with now. What is Marie going to do at the shiteau? There's no job for her at the shiteau, Fanny won't want her there for very long and it's untenable in the long-run. It's a short-term holding pen and not a real fix for Marie's problems.

Marie returned home to Norway at Christmas and that didn't restore her. You can't go backwards - Marie has to begin to stand on her own 2 feet, grow-up, begin slowly to move forward and get a real job that doesn't involve grifting.

She’s only going to be there for 2 days so she’ll be gone by the time the Vlog is up on Wednesday. Have a little feeling she’ll either stay longer or there’ll be some sort of plan for her to go back more permanently once she’s tied up some loose ends. Stephanie has said elsewhere she suffered a long time with her mental health as well so maybe is trying to look after her.
