Yes, but like I explained: the lovely time has nothing to do with the location or the main characters of her soap opera. If I can, I try to avoid being part of the shenanigans and stay the hell away from the excesses that are at the base of Stephanies parties.
As for Ian and his wife: my understanding is Tina is sensible enough to keep them out of the partying scene.
Now by you saying this - if I was Fanny I would be looking around thinking who was here, who appeared in the footage - who didn't appear in the footage. Who has been around for a while & in the inner circle of knowledge. Do these little titbits not give her the clue to your identity? I am guessing that Ivo & his partner are no longer welcome, but still remain friends with chateau visitors?

We don't have a custom of hunting eggs, but it seems a lot of fun to me. Easter egg hunting is fun for kids, at least that's how I imagined it.
If the children had discovered the "temple" everything would have been fine. Since they are not, huge dislike.

The way she enacted unexpectedly discovering that "temple" in the woods that Larkin put on display especially for her and only her, perfectly underlines your words. It's so cringeworthy, yet nobody dares to reach out and give that woman the mental aid she obviously and desperately needs.
Why would he do that for her? What kind of hold does she have on him?

Stephanie Jarvis usually charges her "friends" a considerable fee for their stay for the Easter weekend. Yes: you need to have an invitation to come, but you still have to pay.
So they must love going or why else would they go to a party they have to pay for?

Fanny was on her best behaviour for the Fleuries. There was far too much Snorty for my taste.
As we've established it is clear that Fanny and/or her cult read here I think it's an attempt to make her content/lifestyle appear more wholesome. The criticism of the environment not being a suitable place for a refugee has hit the target. So we had the Annalise party with cute kids. Now we have the Easter party with cute kids and the addition of cute puppies & cute lambs to add to the family friendly faux look. Meanwhile some of the old crew of adut partygoers didn't get the memo & come in with everything on show..Natti taking top prize in this competition for most inappropriate Easter dress. We see your game Fanny. Nice try.

I have to say that was hard to watch...I'll be brief. 31-minute vlog over half of it focused on herself and her house. Most of the rest was superficial cringeworthy content - how people looked, what kind of teacup she was drinking from, what people were wearing... Even when arranging the room for the girls it was about herself...."I loved bangles"..."the books I read as a child"...my toys...me me me. She invites longtime friends to a weekend and spends so little time talking to them, showing an interest in anything other than their clothes, and obsessing on how she looks, while her "guests" are cooking, clearing, setting tables, moving furniture, etc. Uhg. Glad that's over.

When the Fleuries announced they would not be putting up a vlog last night, I figured they gave the "rights" to SJ for the day.
Both Anna and Philipp said and did all the right things...But, I expect plenty of snark in their version of the Easter party.

In regards to The Easter Lunch: All I could think of is SJ had her guests literally dining in front of a *HEAP of dirt in the middle of nowhere.

Other thoughts:
_Annalise looked amazing. It was good to see her.
-SJ looked like my Swiffer after dusting.
-Dana was dressed as Dana always dresses.
-Anna and her shift dress and blazer...it fit perfectly. dam those seamstresses. They take apart their clothes and put them together until every seam fits like a glove.
However, it was wonderful to see her out of her paint clothes.

*Edited to add: the pile of dirt dumped before the bridge for the new garden.

Pretty hard to look like your winning in life if you have to charge your friends to come and visit. 🙄
Here finally the accounts:
10€/h for Kim for cooking for 32 people
Minus 250€ per night for staying in chambre exploité
Receiving 10 chains, 5 bracelets, 15 rings from jeweller for display fee
Buying 80 kg of Easter eggs plus 250 £ shipping costs last Easter
Free lambs from Kirsty
Free dress from corpse
Guest presents from Fleuries
No host presents for Fleuries, not even kids.
Borrowing Natti the dress in exchange for free dishwashing all night long
Renting Dan's kids for company of fleuries kids

I would have loved to see her washing dishes in this dress

And given very very little screen time, not even a mention "look who has arrived...", "look who is here...l
Oh, she edited out the part where she asked for the kitchen tiles. So much they understood that once they give her the tiles they won't be invited anymore.

I am far behind but I had to tell you that is the scariest Easter bunny that I have ever seen. LOL I would have been screaming too.

Being a medical professional that entire thing made no sense about Isabelle's eyes. Either Fanny is lying or there is more to this story than revealed.
I remember Steph showing one of Isabelles Cross-stitching projects, it was quite a huge thing considering she did it with one eye only. Wonder why she didn't mention it back then already? 🤣🤣🤣

I thought about MP not making the list- but he doesn’t seem to have much contact with SJ anymore. Only his guy pals. 🤷🏼‍♀️
He doesn't have a driving licence, that's all.

I’ve just watched Marie Wilki s channel from Haworth…..that poor girl…she needs a hug and a good talk…she just seems so unhappy and nothing seems to help shift it. Would going back to Lalande help as at least she knows everyone there….if I was her Mum I would be very concerned.
I think her problem stems from the fact that there is no one of significant importance in her life be concerned... there's only so many times a person can have their help, support and generosity thrown back in their face because MW can't decide what she wants...She seeks happiness at the hands of others when she should be seeking it from with in...creating her own.. things don't happen over night but at least enjoy the journey until they arrive instead of throwing in the towel because life as you want it is taking too long... 🙏🦋✨

  • Drinks for jewelry shopping
  • Bedside booze bottles
  • Snorty carry's cocktails for two for the Easter Egg Hunt
  • Hard to pick up Easter Eggs when you have a camera in one hand and a drink in the other
  • Fanny is wearing flats through the woods, so less likely to trip and spill her drink

Different Ian. Welcome and our wiki is a great starting point!
I used to be a parrot but I'm alright now... or is there an echo in here? Read the Wiki for for all questions previously answered... again and again... I do love you... I'm watching new series of Bridgerton and every time Penelope pops up, you immediately come to mind... you are our very own Lady Whistledown

On Saturday night, Amury was beside Natti on the terrace (wearing a tux), but he quickly moved out of shot.
On Sunday brunch, Amuary was sitting beside Natti near the end of the table, across from his parents (but no close up shots)
He really doesn't seem keen to be on camera.

In Canada, as a safety measure, there were minimum eyesight requirements for medical professionals (ex: nurses) who held responsibility for administering medicines in patient situations (ex: hospitals, nursing homes). I assume this is still in place and wonder if similar guidelines are in place in the UK and elsewhere?

I hate to say it, but I really enjoyed that! I think the suite of rooms for Pillipe, Anna and the girls were really nicely done and the whole weekend looked fun. Adorable that kirsty bought the lambs over, and the various kids looked like they were having fun :D
Did you miss the black plastic coat hangers Philip was holding? I'd expect wooden coat hangers, but no, they were cheapo plastic.

It's a shame The Princess and the Pauper were the ones to discover the 'temple' You'd have thought she would have let the children run ahead with their parents to stand a chance of finding the prize... she always has to be seen as the winner. I'm also guessing there would have been a spare stash of Lindt chocolate gold covered rabbits for her majesties pleasure... before I go and retrieve some Zen back into my life, the announcement of IJ's returned vision in her one and only seeing eye in the chapel for staging, was it a miracle?... or was it indeed modern day surgery techniques.

It’s a new dawn at LaLande with new cast members.
Petherick has to be sidelined now even if he was available to come he wouldn't have been invited. Since wallpapergate he's tainted. Dick & Angel Strawbridge are big players for Channel 4 - they're prime time TV. The split by them from the spin off DIY programmes is deliberate. So Fanny would be daft to let Petherick into her filming as Ch4 wouldn't want to annoy them - they are described as "jewels in the Channel 4 crown".
I didn't enjoy it. The whole fakery of it being all lovely & cutesy when we've seen what normally goes on in that place. Cleaned up their act both physically by getting the place cleaner than ever seen before & trying to make it seem wholesome. Even the 'discovery' of the chocolate bunny shrine thing was fake. Imagine a grown woman shrieking with fake excitement, running to get chocolate like a 5 year old. Does she think that makes her endearinginly charming? Nah. It makes you look like a middle aged idiot woman. Hopefully the Fleuries were using her as much as she was using them. They've put in enough digs at her vlogs in the past - I hope they're more astute to be conned by jingle jangle kid bracelets & Fanny's old musty kids books.
Prince Charming poncing about - I mean, for goodness sake, I thought if you had a toy boy they had to be gorgeous - not just younger?
That awful garish jewellery - what was it, some sort of Cabochon jewellery party?
I fast forwarded as I can't stand to watch Fanny for more than about 10 minutes before wanting to barf.

She said it before, about the blindness in one eye. To my knowledge Isabelle Jarvis kept her eyedrops in the smeg fridge when at LaLande, those drops were to lower the pressure. My understanding was that she had glaucoma. Why would she use eyedrops when her eye was blind from birth? More bs from the charlataine, Easter miracle my ass. And to then make it even more "sacred" by choosing the chapel to bring this magnificent news...
Many blind and visually impaired people are prescribed eyedrops. They are a part of a medically prescribed regime, especially for those who have glaucoma. Eyedrops reduce swelling, increase blood flow and help retain moisture in the eye. An acquaintance, blind from birth, uses eyedrops twice a day because his eyes get dry, itchy and uncomfortable.

But why would IJ keep her eyedrops in the kitchen Smeg? Doesn't her own apartment have a fridge? I'd never leave medication in a 'community' fridge where anyone could tamper with it or mistakenly throw it out.

My assumption is Anna and Philip know nothing of the negative backlash surrounding SJ, her downward spiral, or what exposure and criticism exists here. 🤔🤔
I can't for one minute think that they don't read Tattle. There have been umpteen subtle digs about things we've mentioned here in their vlogs. It comes so fast on the heels of what we've mentioned I cannot think it isn't deliberate.
They've included in their vlogs Philip detailing all the safety equipment he is wearing. They've show that they hire in professional digger drivers. They've mentioned their landscaper by name. They've shown that they take advice from a proper horticulturalist & replace all the trees they cut down. He even mentioned his crotch just around the time of that crotchgate post from SA.
It's like a ping pong match. Fanny does something bad - they react to show how they're doing it correctly - she then tries to show SHE's doing something correctly. The world of vlogging wasn't unique or new to Fanny - he's a film maker it would seem obvious that he'd want to use his skills there. I am hoping that the Fleuries are as astute as they appear & that they just took it on face value - somewhere for the kids to have a bit of fun, a night or two away (hopefully for free) and a bit of cross pollination promotion for their chateau. I mean what a contrast between the 2 places if you were looking for someone to stay, not sure Fanny's hovel would win :ROFLMAO:

Hello all from a longtime lurker,

I am finally almost caught up, and since that will probably last about 27 minutes, I'm taking the opportunity to quickly introduce myself. I'm a 50-something wife and mom. I live in California (but use minimal emojis and have my own YT account!) Once upon a time I was a professional classical musician, and one of my many complaints about CD is the use of uncredited live and recorded music in the videos. I was so glad to see someone mention the (probably) unauthorized use of the Verona opera performance footage the other day. Fanny should know better, even if she never got around to using her musical training for much!

My 'finding Tattler' story is very typical ... heard about the 'hate site' on MPK's crying vlog, popped in and out a few times, gradually started lurking and loved the hilarious, articulate, right-on-point comments here, etc, etc. Such a relief that I wasn't the only one who objected to SJ's tacky gift-opening channel. While I do think she has natural charm and is capable of being a good interviewer, the fake life, creepy love and shrill laughter get old fast, and there's a ton of disturbing stuff behind the crumbling facade of both the alleged 'chateau' and its 'chatelaine'. I quit watching for a while until FRK left, and boycotted the shirtless cuz clickbait, but the last straw for me was the monkey poo episode. Whoever came up with that idea (the alleged YouTube manager?) went too far. I haven't watched CD since.

When I realized I was spending more time reading here than watching the flogs, I created an account so I could view attachments and react to comments. This is my first (and possibly only) post, as I may have to retreat back into lurkdom. But I hope I'll have the fortitude to make it through tattler probation. I haven't read every one of the threads, but I do make frequent and appreciative use of the Wiki button and search bar, so I at least promise not to ask stupid questions!

Deeply appreciate that we're all here for different reasons, and I have no agenda except continuing to enjoy the clever wordplay, creative video and photo work, and knowledgable perspectives on all things chateau-related. And of course the bonus content on gardening, beverage choices, heavy equipment safety and makeup tips! Hoping to eventually post enough to become a recognized member of the warm-hearted and supportive community here. Sincere thanks to all fifteen of you for many hours of enjoyable reading. This is the real 'life, love and laughter' site :)

Teaching Antoine some work ethics seems sensible and wise, but by allowing Stephanie Jarvis to use him once again for her flogs it actually shows the disgustingly low morals his parents have adopted. The Larkins should protect their son from exposure on the internet at his age, but instead they think it's a good idea to pair him with a person who has not worked once in her entire life and has the most distorted ideas about children and how to approach them. Shame on Nic and Marie, again.
