I agree! She is such an impressive woman.. her field is very difficult to enter and even more difficult to last and get promoted. And then she has the balls to move industries and re-learn regulations... Kudos Marie! Now if only you could stop your child being used in the GAG circus, that'd be awesome!

Her mistake in pronouncing AVSEC had me in tears! Let's just say as someone who speaks English as a second language I can relate! πŸ˜‚ πŸ˜‚
I did get a chuckle out of that as well, as she pronounced it "OPSEC", and then caught herself! (Well, technically, she does have to practise good Operational Security in her job!) For a person who grew up in France, speaks English fluently, and admits German is her strongest language, I am really impressed! I suspect she has tried to establish boundaries when it comes to Antoine (Marie seems to be a very good mother), but Fanny doesn't give 2 forks as she's a petulant child who does whatever she pleases, and Headless Nick lacks the cajones to set Fanny straight. It must be difficult for Marie, as it always seems they have to walk on eggshells to appease Princess Fanny, and that has got to be quite a feat for an independent, intelligent woman who is successful in her own right. I don't understand, though, Headless Nick and Potty's obsession with catering to Fanny- both men are with successful, beautiful women, yet they always feel compelled to appease Fanny. What on earth is Fanny holding over their heads?

So Dan finished the "pantry," or whatever weird hallway that space is. What an odd rabbit warren. No doubt Fanny will find the chandelier paaar-fect.
If it is a pantry....where are the shelves...Am I missing something?

I speculate that Stefanny tries to get away with a self-employment scheme with what I think are her de facto employees. Many have tried to evade their duties as an employer with pseudo independent contractors and many times French courts have said no. I'm waiting for an employment inspector to pay the shitoo a visit.

It can be difficult to be an independent contractor in France and not fall into employment.
More and more, as I read these comments, I have come to believe she hasn't a clue what she is doing ....except planning her next bedroom adventure, or cocktail. Clueless.....wasn't there a movie with that title already?

I see you're feeling perky and even frisky. Hoping this finds you well.
thank you I am feeling much better. Got my negative COVID test today and I think that made everything a bit better.. although for some reason I'm still not eager to leave the home... I was born to be a hermit it seems LOL

Hmmmm. Somehow I'm reminded of what a US government economist in Egypt speculated about Egypt's semi-socialist wages. People were paid so very poorly bribes, baksheesh and corruption were the only ways they could make a living.
Interesting how bad faith reproduces itself and spreads.
Maybe Annalise's foray into paid work is the way out of the chateau for Dan. For students of video, which I'm not, it seems all the videos "about nothing" are actually artistic, sharp-eyed observation with good camera and editing techniques. Also a huge commercial TV trend, about nothing plots, like the Royle family sitting on their couch taterin'.
I hope that it is a way out for Dan. As he continues to be in, and broadcast from the chateau, to my mind he seems to be more frantic and "over the top" in his presentation . I used to like, and pull for him, but find him increasingly difficult to watch. Sorry Dan . What the heck is going wrong?

I'm thrilled for you.
As someone triply vulnerable to the rona, I've laid very low for two years. I saw a friend the other day for the first time in that time, and it was fantastic. We picked up right where we left off, which is always the feeling I get with people and suspect it is what you feel when you get to heaven and see all your peeps. Also fantastic to come home to my peaceful nest, snuggle with little bad Toto Tartlet, play with my newspapers, books and crafts and look out the window. It's all good. Are you eatin' your greens and taking it easy?

I agree and think we flatter her to believe she has a strategy. I can't get over draining the lake and then draining the fisheries pond, sans permit, for channel 4. What kind of cognitive distortion doesn't learn from experience? That's kinda Real. πŸ₯΄

So wouldn't Philip, Nati and Amaury have to set themselves up as a business, like Selmar did and Dan must have? They would then work contracted and invoice SJ .... I'm a bookkeeper .... and I think we can pay someone one off jobs once in a while, but if someone works regularly for us they are either a full on employee that we pay taxes and other CRA (Canada Revenue Agency) fees for and on behalf of, OR I get an invoice from the person's company and they are paid that way. It would be a great exception and a maybe one time thing if we did otherwise, I don't even remember the last time we did something like that, so I'm pretty sure it's not kosher here in Canada.
The thing is this is also speculation... We don't know anything for sure. We have people's emotions going all over the place based on what someone was told they heard at the dinner table. But that's it. Noone from the actual chateau has explained how they are paid... Full time, part time, contact position.

And no legal authority is going to take financial information gathered from a gossip site as any kind of proof of anything. Y'all realize this place is considered the sewer of humanity πŸ˜‚

It's the hallway that leads to the pantry room, which is behind the door that needs a second coat of paint. (CLL has a wonky AF layout). I suspect Dan did not show the actual pantry itself in that every time it has been briefly shown, is generally in a state of disarray (and this is their day-to-day operations, not due to a renovation, so Fanny and team have no excuse for this.)

Charlie the cross beagle, wobbly on his legs, think his sight is failing too, lost everything he knew and was familiar to him in 1 day...my heart strings were pinging...I hope he settles in and lives out his life in peace and safety.
Bless them for trying to rescue the poor doggie.

Perhaps I could try to answer that? Though I don't go for men personally, I can see that Potty is easier on the eye. However, he is interested in him self and his dreams. Did you not see the disappointment in her eyes when his defining moment had nothing to do with her? She needed more closeness and support than he ever was going to give her. Stephanie is needy and at times intense. Phillip loves being needed and validated, and he loves a bit of drama. They are a good match, for better for worse.
Makes sense to me!!

What struck me is that for a 25 year old, that vacation would be total torture. No nightlife. Not much going out. It’s like having a vacation in a nursing home. Woo hoo!
I think we can deduce he is not a typical 25yr old. Whether he is moulding himself to fit into her life for ulterior motives or he is a 70yr old trapped in a much younger body or he is truly head over heels🀨

I haven't watched the Patreon videos yet, but thanks for sharing them!

I just saw this on FB and I am dying laughing at Support Squirrel collaged in the corner, where he belongs. Not in the actual thumbnail πŸ˜‚ πŸ˜‚

IJ's house; IJ's rules. Phyllis will not be included.

I get a strong vibe that there was a big blow up before this clip. Lord knows how many takes it took.

I haven't seen a police officer outside their car since about 1962.
I imagine no investigator would consider they've done a thorough job if they hadn't checked this place out, one reason I'm super careful, about mentioning location or family members, as I am shocked to see others here doing.
I'd wager the lazy ones are doing all their investigation online now. Due diligence would certainly include seeing what enemies and sewer rats have to say. Where do you think reporters and cops get their leads? Pillars of the community or snitches?

So when is it appropriate to let everyone know the selection of the next thread title. I fear that if I go to bed 10 pages are going to fly by. What is the procedure? Just post it on here?
Go for it Maple fairy...It will be perfect ,or should I say paaarfect? Ha ha!

I am of the persuasion that gossip that is not factual, or carefully weighed fact-based speculation, is, well,....not sporting. You can tell a pro by the quality, provenance, and reliability of their facts and sources.
I do understand what you are saying but wouldn't that make it rather less like 'gossip'? My own business is neither finance nor psychology related but I have a fierce aversion to little PJ and am baffled by the chateau finances and behaviours - and I still quite enjoy tossing a few salient (unsubstantiated and non-professional) comments into the tattle mix.
