I’ve finally caught up. I keep wanting to respond to posts but always feel I miss a few when I go back. Doesn’t quite put me back where I left off.

When I watched the GAG it was because I didn’t want to miss any information about the goings on at the Chateau. I have long ago now unsubscribed and stopped watching. I would love to know why some Tattlers still hate watch on FF. Why bother? Are you still addicted to the LL fantasy? No judgement.

We don’t agree with her method of fundraising so in my mind one should not support it by watching. I never thought about the whole evil logistics of the GAG until I read here. I agree Money and effort can be put to much better use. In any case I doubt any of the money actually gets to the root cause of the charities she supposedly is supporting. Where is the proof she has paid them the money?

Is GAG registered as a charity? Does one have to declare it’s a charity? Who is monitoring that she is in fact giving that money to who she says she is. What about the tax on her YouTube earnings? There is a lot of murky water around this channel. Is it something her accountant is looking at too?

Why do I watch, and does she earn a lot due to that? Good question! Firstly, I am not subscribed, secondly, I immediately skip the ads (if I understand correctly, they are then not monetized?), thirdly I don't watch all of them, fourthly I go through them on fastforward, and lastly I don't like/dislike/comment (so: not much "engagement"). I am however sometimes interested in the higher quality products she presents (I am in the group of people who do not think that all "gifts" are from her rabid followers, and that the higher quality ones she has either bought herself, or are sponsored...hmm, the ethics about that? ) My aversion to all things hedgehoggy-squirrely and snorty mean that I am watching GAG less and less.

I’ve seen very bad homeless situations in LA, San Diego, and San Francisco. Once people get that far down it’s really hard to get back to any kind of normal. They also have a lot of issues. Drug addition, mental illness, alcohol problems, physical disabilities. It takes a lot of assistance to get out of it. We need a better way In the US.

The Youtuber German in Venice filmed multiple vlogs of the homeless situation around Venice beach. It was so depressing to see the extent of the homeless situation there.

If I were Dan, Kim or the remaining volunteers, I'd be inclined to leave the 7 Christmas trees plus all the decorations and jolly well let the chatelaine and her lapdog sort it all out themselves when they get back. After all, they chose to do it and they know where it is to be stored. They are like little kids who expect the adults to do all the tidying up after Christmas as they can't be trusted to do it properly. Pretty sure that Dan's contract doesn't include taking decorations down. If it was only one tree, that might be acceptable but not with all 7 trees' worth of LL's OTT dross!

Check out this Bourbon Chateau and see how it is decorated and furnished.

That was very interesting, a REAL chateau and a genuinely historic one which is restored not only for the family but also for the nation and, in addition, the owner is also invested in developing the local area, providing employment, etc. He seems an admirable person and he speaks excellent English. When you see something and someone genuine like this, you wonder how LL can be viewed as a chateau and how patrons can justify donating to it.

I have probably led a fairly innocent life and can't begin to imagine what it must be like to sit on a sofa squeezed between your current chap and your ex. How must it feel for Snorts to sit so close to Potts knowing where they have both been? just weird and icky on so many levels.

It was Marina Kim that help SJ set up this channel and not Hanni Ross. Hanni, helped make a list of real charities, to make this look legit. The lump sum of donated funds went to Marina Kim and Spero Villioti. A convenient kickback plan??? Still no word on the winner and no update from SJ.

You've had literally rooms full of gifts in the 18 months or so of lockdown. Where do you put them all? You can't use all of it! No one could. Perhaps you can sell them on ebay or something to boost the charity money, althoughmuch if it has no commercial value. Or maybe you could top up the charity money with some of the patreon financial gifts, of about €35,000 a month? Maybe have a charity month?

I was quite surprised when it was mentioned here that she gifts herself high end gifts. I must say I take everything at face value most of the time so it’s good to have fellow Tattlers who are more aware of these kind of things open my eyes. I don’t put it past her either.
