Nearly through on my first listen of the album. Very good first impressions. It sounds really fresh and energetic but with lots of quieter contemplative moments.

It has 'comfort listen' vibes.

When he talked about John for the moment
I really enjoyed his interview with Paul Mescal and the discussion of his relationship with John. When younger Paul asked him where his heart was now with that relationship and his voice cracked, and he said that John's spirit is always in him and with him. 😔😔

I love the tributes he makes to John and George in his concerts. They're so well done and feel really genuine and heartfelt.

I've just listened to the new album, it's really fresh and the melodies are upbeat. Mountain Top has got 60s/70s vibes which I liked. I really liked Ringo's most recent album too. It's very country and has a warm, comfortable vibe to it. I like that Ringo's voice like Paul's feels lived in, if that makes sense. There is a life of vast experiences and memories behind each voice which lends gravitas. For men in their 80s they sound great!

I feel very fortunate to be alive during their lifetimes, but especially Paul’s. Of course some of the stuff is historical, but I’m glad not to have been reading, watching, and listening to all of it in the past tense. He’s not perfect, but nobody is. His recent TikTok where he mentioned the misheard lyrics and he said in Hi Hi Hi where he sings get ready for my polygon but he prefers the fans version of get you ready for my body gun did make me laugh

Paul's attempted foray into rave music was funny.
I didn't mind it. Many in the scene hated it.

That was very classy of Ringo. It’s a lovely memory for the fan. Here’s to Sirs Paul and Ringo, I hope they are with us for many years to come

They both appear to be in excellent physical and mental health so fingers crossed.

They are good ambassadors for ageing. Both sharp as a tack.

Too often older people in media are only ever portrayed as doddering old fools full of health conditions. Nice to see this is not actually the default.

Totally agree. I hate the casual ageism. Paul and Ringo make much younger men seem like frolicking amateurs.
