Ringo looks incredible for a guy in his 80s and his energy is amazing.

I love this video from a recent gig he did

Any lucky sods on the Magical Mystery Tour sightseeing thingy in Liverpool the other day got to experience Paul pull up in his car and Facetime Ringo in front of them.

My jealousy is through the roof :ROFLMAO:

Mine too, that must been amazing. Paul is always classy and so generous with the fans.

Exactly. The length of his concerts with no support, no nipping off stage for costume changes/sit downs, no auto tune or pre-records is testament that he doesn't want to disappoint his fans. OK the tickets aren't cheap but you get your money's worth. He always delivers.

FaceTiming Ringo was such a cool thing to do. If I was young and had any ounce of musical talent I’d apply to LIPA just to have Paul teach me a few lessons and shake my hand (provided I didn’t faint first)

I've often thought that myself. If LIPA had existed when I was young I would definitely have applied.

I have no musical talent whatsoever and I can't read music. I'd have to fake it until I make it in order to get in at LIPA. And, then if I meet Paul, I will tell him I can't read music and hyperventilate a lot.
Actually, I'd love to talk to him about animals and animal rights. He and Linda were pioneers in that area. My mum is a big fan too and she is Swedish so we would bake him some vegan semla for fika. I would introduce him to all my rabbits as well.

Well not reading music never stopped Paul! There are loads of really famous songwriters/composers who can't read music.

Me too. But then most contemporary music leaves me cold...
I had to give up trying with new music a few years ago now.

I stick to the artists I know I like and hope for the best when they release a new album. I've been lucky this year with Paul and Madonna knocking it out of the park with their releases.

The Sam Mendes biopic has been filming the Abbey Road scene today.

I'm still not convinced but I'm willing these films to be good. Beatles history is fascinating.

This popped up on a Beatles fan page. It looks like John is a grandad. It seems Julian wrote a post, then deleted it. Looks like he might have announced it a bit too soon. It's nice that Julian is still close to Mary and his stepdad.

Aw, Julian probably just got overexcited.

John's birthday is next month. He would have been 86 so he could still be here if not for It taking him from everyone.
