He’s worked hard promoting this album, yet you don’t hear him complaining that it’s been a lot. He’s come over as funny, warm, reflective rather than the switched on pr guy he has done in the past. He’s seems to have been genuinely thrilled to get the no1 album, the most successful artist to have done so. He needs another rhodium disc! Congrats Sir Paul
Love how active he's been for 83, and also very plugged in to the social media age. He's got a good team keeping him up with this stuff and for once a legacy act doing reels and stuff like Chicken Shop Date doesn't come across as 'how do you do fellow kids' cringe.

Can't recommend seeing Paul live highly enough. He clearly loves performing and gives a great show. Does he sing like he did 60 years ago? No, of course not. But for me that's irrelevant. He plays bass, guitar, piano and more as brilliantly as ever and his band provide brilliant supporting vocals. And I'd take his live performance, with it's flaws, over that prerecorded rubbish that most so-called artists mime to. Yes, Taylor Swift, looking directly at you and your rip off concerts.

I was so moved seeing Paul on his last tour, it was such an emotional experience.
People talk about his voice being weak; it's not weak, it's mature, and when singing the lyrics to all those amazing songs it's incredibly poignant. His musicality remains at the same high level, and his energy is staggering for a frontman in his 80s. Surrounded by the musicians and backers who make up his band these days, it's a brilliant experience.
You can keep your Taylor Swifts and all the rest of them. I'll stick with the genius that is Sir Paul McCartney.

I've played it through a few times, it's fab!
I’ve been fortunate enough nough to have seen Paul 9 times. He plays 3 hours near enough, singing around 39 songs. It’s not about the voice, it’s about hearing those songs performed by him. I’m not religious, but it’s like a spiritual experience. You genuinely feel like there’s so much joy and good people out in the world. It’s 3 hours of pure joy. Cannot recommend highly enough. And if you wear make up wear waterproof mascara!

. It's like Rivals with a dark haired Rupert. At first I couldn't fathom how that could work as Rupert is so famously blonde but it actually works really well because the actor gets the Rupert personality perfectly.This is a great vlog regarding the casting.

I don’t know if anyone lives near Portobello or can travel there? In November at Portobello Town Hall there’s a Beatles marathon where different bands will be playing all the Beatles albums. Tickets are £20 and the money goes to MND research. I’m not sure I’m allowed to post the website if anyone would be interested
It's a few days until the anniversary of John and Paul meeting. Next year it will be 70 years since the 'big day'

I saw a video the other day of Ringo and he was doing star jumps at a concert! I'm more than half his age and cannot do a star jump. I love his energy.
