I'd like to see a source from anywhere except Hollie's mouth of a challenge encouraging children to hang themselves.
There’s a difference between seeing how long you can hold your breath for and swinging from the bannistersSomething doesn't add up with her narrative. There was the blackout challenge at the time which involved people seeing how long they could hold their breath for.
Archie was found hanging.
That isn't the challenge. No idea if this is what he did or was indeed trying to kill himself but kids do stupid thingsThere’s a difference between seeing how long you can hold your breath for and swinging from the bannisters
I do feel like the stories of challenges happen every few years. I remember when I was little that you would hear stories about it sometimes but never really any prove it did happen. That isn't the challenge. TikTok blackout challenge said to have killed seven children
An insane TikTok blackout challenge has been responsible for the deaths of seven children, according to a horrific new report...9to5mac.com
It certainly makes sense that halfwits doling out terrible medical suggestions would not stop for a second to add terrible legal advice to their repertoire. She still seems to be playing along with the "challenge gone wrong" story... lots of comments reference it every day, people suggesting they sue TikTok next.
Very telling that all but one of the children mentioned in that article are below the minimum recommended age for the app. What happened to parental responsibility? That isn't the challenge. No idea if this is what he did or was indeed trying to kill himself but kids do stupid things

This was my personal thoughts on reading this too. There's a LOT of fucked up tit out there online, parents can't just sue every website their kids go on if they have unsupervised access - TikTok is the least of their worries.Very telling that all but one of the children mentioned in that article are below the minimum recommended age for the app. What happened to parental responsibility?
There’s no evidence that this was a challenge. Even Hollie says they’re not sure.I hope that the situation with Archie, wakes up content providers, like TikTok, Instagram and other dubious places that encourage kids to do stupid things. Many kids have died in USA with this horrific black out challenge.
His tictok account was a child with severe depression from even two years ago which would’ve made him 10 he mention suicide it’s very concerning that a child of that age had mentioned suicide and I fully believed it his mom Hollie or Lisa whatever you wanna call her genuinely didn’t know that he put this up it was when it was brought into light the account then all of a sudden got deleted by the family from the phones obviously which can be recovered with a court order by the police which they will eventually do a investigation. She has got a very well-known reputation even my husband who doesn’t come from Essex even knows of her through the fact that she streaked across a football match at Southend which makes you wonder why this child is depressed when you have a mother who has at no cost to be in the media. You can see that every chance she is pushing him into that same limelight when he was with her before he’d had the incident and even now. It’s absolutely terrible what’s happened no child or adult should ever feel that this is an option in life but it also makes you wonder if any services was involved why have they not picked this up previously because the signs have been there the school clearly hasn’t picked up the social services, camhs or anyone else including other family members and parents have been oblivious. There are lots to suggest this was a very troubled little boy. I am sure I read that he had been expelled from school and Hollie had been threatening legal action against the council.
Lots of pressure on him too with the gymnastics etc.
A very troubled home life, a mum and brother in trouble with the law. Social services were already involved. Hollie also was accused of stealing money from a man by catfishing him with her daughters photos. Also accusations her boyfriend was a drug dealer and drugs were found at the house. I wonder if any of this will come out formally if true?
Their house looks depressing. And going by the tit stirring drama they all love to start on their fb page, I think it’s quite telling the kind of people they are and it’s not hard to imagine the r impact this has on a young boy.
A lot of children have open access to devices with no restrictions. My sons 8 and a few months back his primary school had to get a councillor in because children were terrified after seeing a video on TikTok of a man de-aliving. It was widespread too, literally year 1 students - year 6. TikTok we’re removing the videos but people kept putting them up or making vague TikTok’s about it to make the kids look for it. It’s really not hard for them to come across when they have open access to everything.Maybe I’m being really naive, but how does a 10 yr old know about suicide and TikTok? My eldest is 7, she doesn’t have her own device, but she have one family iPad that’s really locked down and all the parental controls are on. As far as I know she doesn’t know how to turn them off.
I know children struggle with mental health and they go through things we don’t always realise, but I’d be devastated if she even knew what suicide was.
that’s horrific! Hope your son is okA lot of children have open access to devices with no restrictions. My son moans at me constantly about the restrictions on his tablet and begs for TikTok and Snapchat (he’s 8! But “all his friends have it” but I won’t allow it. They’re children they don’t need to see this stuff. Honestly I just think some parents don’t give a tit sadly and just want an easy life. “Here’s the tablet, off you go” kind of thing.
That’s what happens when you have unrestricted access to the internet from a young age. I was eleven coming across beheadings and pornography online because my mum didn’t monitor my internet accessMaybe I’m being really naive, but how does a 10 yr old know about suicide and TikTok? What is de aliving? I’ve seen this several times now on social media. I understand commit suicide is not considerd appropriate bu surely it’s still factual to say someone has killed themselves or ended their life or died?A lot of children have open access to devices with no restrictions. Indeed, I remember finding rotten.com when I was around Archie’s age. Photos of people who had died in horrific accidents, post mortem images. I was quite mature and it didn’t really affect me but it was disturbing nonetheless. That’s what happens when you have unrestricted access to the internet from a young age. I think his username - painhub - was also part of a ‘trend’ so to speak. I’ve seen accounts with similar usernames as ‘vent’ accounts to post triggering/sad content.
