Try Gloria in shoreditch! My favourite restaurant in London by far. Such a pretty place and the food is amazing. I think they also have sister restaurants. The carbonara is £16 and comes out in a wheel of Parmesan and is tossed at the table so you definitely get a bit of an experience there as well
Thank you, I love pasta 😅 can check them out

Does anyone know if you can remove the “for sale” sign from your home when it’s sold subject to contract? I see a lot of houses have theirs changed to “sold stc”. But a house near me has removed the sign completely, but it’s showing as sold stc online. Is this down to the hone owner, or do the estate agents have rules about how long you have to keep a sign up for?

Fake tan and massages.

I can't possibly go on my single trip next week without a tan and I hate the instant tan (also can't bring more than 100mls in my carry-on) - I want to book a deep muscle massage for when I'm there. Is it ok to put on fake tan (Bondi Sands) the night or 2 nights before? Or is it just not worth my while? I haven't had a massage in years.
I'd think the oils they use in the massage would make the tan run an end up all over their hands, is it not possible getting the tan after the massage?

I used to get fake tans for performing an competitions an I was told to be careful what I used so it didn't run an also use plain soap to wash so it stayed for longer

Random question but my hubby and I are flying on Sunday and we've both got the new blue passports. Anyway my husband went to sign his and he's managed to put a big black smudge on it where he's signed. Does anyone reckon that could be a problem? Slightly freaking out 😵
I’m sure it will be fine

So a bit of back story.
I’m unsure of the origins of my two original cats. They were I think cousins. The cat that died was the lovable playful one and the one we still have is the diva. Hence my worries. However she was clearly heartbroken and the dilemma was, she’s always been with a feline companion. I wanted to ease her out of her grief without rushing her Ofcourse. But as stated in the thread already she did display some behaviour issues. She wasn’t using her litter box. She was being a lot more fussy wirh food. She would eat but only certain flavours. She didn’t really leave the bedroom where the cat was found.

We did end up getting the kitten. I had been toying with the idea for a while now. The girl I got the kitten off has said should I need to give her back I can do. However, I can’t realistically do that as I have three children.

The kitten came home today and so far so good! The kitten is also a mini diva 😂 but she’s settled in well already. She’s used to a busy household anyway! The cat I previously had has met the kitten but doesn’t pay her much attention. Slowly she’s getting closer to her. But we’ve had no rights or even a swipe! Also on top of that, my heartbroken cat has started coming out of her shell. I think she knew something was occurring because as the kitten was on her way to me she came into the living room and rubbed her chin on a few things 😂 and then went upstairs. Bur she’s been downstairs much more today than the past few weeks. She’s also used her litter tray! As I’ve not had any clean up missions!!
How absolutely lovely! I'm so pleased it's gone so well for you. I've just introduced a kitten to my two cats and it's been a bit dicey. After an ok start one of the older ones spent several days growling at both the kitten and us and making odd clicking noises. We couldn't get near him. It was a bit like he had some sort of feline breakdown.

Things are much better now though and they have even started cuddling up together! Our other cat just sits and glares from the other side of the room.

There's a share your cat thread (if you're not already aware of it). We'd love to see some kitten photos 🙂🐈.

I’ve had to cancel my DEXA. i wish that was still all I had to worry about.

My mum who I was talking to this morning is now in intensive care and we have been asked to come home. How does someone go from having breakfast in the morning to fighting for her life?! I haven’t really connected it with being my mum. Right now it’s at all happening to someone else somewhere else.

this isn’t the thread for this. Sorry Everyone! I’m just counting hours to the train home in morning and not sure what to be doing
This happened with my dad right before Covid lockdown happened. Ended up having emergency surgery. I hope the outcome is a positive one ❤

I agree with above poster, maybe just let her know that you hardly get to spend time as it is an when you do get together you'd rather it just be the two of you

How old are you if you don’t mind me asking?

As this all sounds very childish. From his point of view, a random person added him. (As he didn’t give you his username. Your friend did) so you are a complete stranger to him. Which is probably why he didn’t snap you back.

Don’t go to so much effort over a stranger. If he’s interested in you, he’ll contact you back.
Im 17 😬😬 sorry for not gving you more details I didnt wanted to be long. We kinda met one time when i was at my best friends grandmas house and he was playing basketball at the basketball court across the house and my best friend knows him, he didi introduced him self to me and I did sme thing but that was it, and also he bascially adds everyone on snap, and even have his snap in his insta bio, and I just realise know that he have really have snap svore wich doesnt have to mean anything but still

I think maybe you've just got a build up from the shampoo, I'm sure it is reccomended to change every so often. Boots also do a 'build up removal' shampoo. Maybe worth a try, https://www.boots.com/boots-expert-build-up-removal-shampoo-200ml-10247057
Thanks, will see if they have it in my local one. I have a detox shampoo but that is also ouai and I still had the same problem with the lack of lather and greasy feeling.
Think I might have to permanently switch shampoos

Thanks lovely but I think that's a copy also. I know me too, but the search is harder than I thought:ROFLMAO: I think it must be from a popular brand because Aliexpress etc have copied it and lots of smaller boutiques online, but I just can't find the original.

Thanks so much for your help though guys, much appreciated🙏
aw i was hoping it was! it’s so annoying when you see something you really like and just can’t find it - it’s such a distinctive looking dress too. good luck in your searching 🫡

Hi! (TMI warning in advance)

I haven’t actually posted before but just looking for some advice …..

I’m not currently trying to conceive but we are planning on trying again in the near future (not currently not on any birth control just tracking my period and avoiding the ovulating week according to an app I have)

I felt a little sick a couple days ago and last night I took my period, 4 days early, I woke this morning and it was really heavy and has continued to be all day, way more than it ever has been in my life before, I have had some cramps but nothing unbearable, but there is a lot of blood (TMI) with what looks like some clots (but then again I don’t inspect other periods so this might be nothing?)

I don’t want to seem over dramatic and say I think im having a miscarriage as I haven’t experienced that before and didn’t miss a period to take a test - can anyone offer any advice does this seem like a random extremely heavy period that’s come on early or something else? Also if you were worried it was a miscarriage would you just see it through at home or seek medical advice, I’m really naive about this as you can probably tell and don’t really want to worry anyone over nothing!
It’s very likely it will still show positive on a pregnancy test. I suspect they would ask you to take one. Try to get the early results one so it’s more sensitive (10 iu/l) Then take it from there. From my experience it will be managed at home if an early miscarriage. Only once it goes on for weeks, if you are in extreme pain or soaking more than 2 pads an hour (so it could be more sinister) will they see you.

Delete him, move on, you don't even need to give him a reason if he asks. Find a relationship with someone who is invested in you.

Some things grow into something amazing, some things don't. I wouldn't see it as any sort of failing on your part, you tried, the friendship was one sided, and you didn't click sexually. I'd just stay classy and not talk about what went down in the bedroom though to anyone irl.
Thank you. Just don't like the thought of hurting people but it's draining my mind thinking about why he's being like this. His reaction last time I deleted him was surprising to me because it made it look like he cared. I haven't spoken about our bedroom antics with anyone, hence why I could on here because it's anonymous. I feel better now I've had your perspective so thank you again.

I have a silver bracelet from Pandora - nothing fancy it just means a lot to me as it was the first bracelet my partner ever got me years ago. I’ve kept it in good condition until now where I’ve accidentally forgot to take it off when using a harsh chemical spray. Unfortunately the spray has got a few specks on the bracelet and there are now just circular specks all round the bracelet. Is there anything I can do to fix it or make it better or will I just have to suck it up?! 😢
They will come off, don't worry! I did exactly the same with some silver rings recently. I got a mould spray with bleach on them and there were black speckles everywhere. They faded after a few hand washes and showers.

Your child will make new friends in no time at all. ( they can still facetime their old friends)

My daughter took her three children out of school during covid and started homeschooling they made new friends pretty fast.
She has now -a couple of weeks ago- moved to another area and at first, the children were worried about their friends but now they are loving it.

Dont lose a good opportunity, just go for it.
Thank you! I appreciate you replying.

Hope everything is ok and I know exactly what you mean. I was told my dad had to go in for emergency heart surgery and the outlook was not to good. It's like it was happening to somebody else. And I only booked a flight (it's 12 hours) for after the surgery. I definitely couldn't reconcile it.
Once you are back "home" it will all be very real

That must be what I pay for as well, line rental, as I don't have a home phone. Its just a bit confusing. I should have a look at a recent bill. I don't think it's right though that they charge me for bt sport though which I don't want. I told them before but obv they didn't change it.
Yes do, calls are recorded so if you requested it to be removed and they still continued to charge they should refund you for that time.
