Apologies in advance if there is a thread regarding child maintenance.
The father to my 6 year old son and I had a private agreement drawn up 2.5 years ago. Recently, due to my mortgage likely going up by about £400 a month from Nov. I asked him if he would mind just recalculating the amount we agreed. He currently pays me just over £200 a month but has our son 3 nights a week. I only asked him to recalculate and did not mention an amount. He immediately went ballistic and started asking for an itemised list of what I spend on our son every month. Any way to cut a long story short I decided to make an official application through CMS. This had lead to him becoming increasingly confrontational and difficult. Whilst my application is now being processed he has now requested that I pay for the petrol for when he drops off our son. He lives 1.9 miles from me and I don’t drive.
I don’t want to agree to this but am not sure if he has any rights to ask me? What if I say no and he just refuses to drive him back to me?
Any thoughts on this greatly appreciated, thanks guys xx

So you’re here to brag. Nice.
Not to brag but just saying the way the police woman spoke on that call the reaction to it all lives rent free in my head 😂

but to be fair I thought it was a bit unprofessional with her saying I’ve got a lucky escape I didn’t think they were allowed to say things like on like give an opinion on stuff

Has anyone used a styling service like Stitch Fix?

I’m in a real predicament as I am returning to work from maternity leave at least a size bigger than I left and I feel like I just don’t know what to wear. I just had a look on a few sites and I came away feeling overwhelmed. I feel like if I try and dress myself I’m going to look frumpier than I need to and I just feel a bit lost at this point.

thinking if I sign up to one of these subscription sites they’ll at least be sending me some current styles I can give ago, but I am not sure who to go with, I think there’s another called lookerio or something?
It might be easier with Stich Fix, but John Lewis also offer free styling with no obligation to buy.

Anyone had tonsillitis? Any tips to get it to stop hurting as painkillers aren't touching it at all and I've had 3 hours sleep the past two nights in broken chunks, I'm literally dying and also crying which only hurts me more haha.

I've been given antibiotics by the doctor hoping they will help but I've only just taken my first dose.

I had it before when I was about 18 but don't remember it being this bad then...

Has anyone ordered from shein an then done returns? I got two things going back from two totally separate orders but only got one code for them, the way it seems it looks like I can send both together as the one parcel but am unsure as it was different orders, also all is says is to show the post office the QR code, is that really all it is? Am not sure how my post office is going feel about that lol

£200-£250 probably. You can't put plasterboard in skips, it's classed as hazardous but tips now have to take it for free.
You can get skips specifically for plasterboard.
They're much more stringent on on what you can and can't put in these days. Make sure you specify. It'll be cheaper/pricier depending what you're disposing of. It can also depend if it's on the road or a front garden and how long you need it for. We get a week hire but you pay by the day if you go over that.
Have a look here at waste classifications and prices. Skip Hire - The Mick George Group

Random question, is any here from or go into Blackpool regularly?

We will be going soon and I found a hotel I was thinking of booking a while back, but now I can't find it an can't remember it's name

From what I remember it was quite new so was quite modern inside, it was a black hotel with a small car park an was on the sea front, I can't remember if it was on a corner to a road or not but it looked like it was maybe between central pier an the theme park

It's only one night as we will be moving on in the morning but needed one with a car park an this one seemed reasonable priced as well

T-gel sometimes goes reduced on Amazon in the £2.50 bottle. Capascal also contains coal tar and is slightly cheaper but smells horrendous. It’s the one doctors do on prescription for seborrhoeic dermatitis.
This might be worth a try, definitiey pitched as a cheap t-gel. It makes (my long, fine) hair a bit tangly while washing, doesn’t foam much or feel nourishing but didn’t cause any irritation for me and I liked the smell. It’s cheap enough to try.

I’m going to get my haircut this week, which I really don’t enjoy.
It is very thick and currently long. No ‘style’.

I’m quite rubbish at doing hair and making time to get it looking ok. I’m contemplating a hidden undercut to take some of the weight out. I was also thinking about curtain fringe maybe some layers kind of ‘wolf cut’ ish. No idea how low maintenance that would be??

Any ideas please?

Does anyone know if its possible for pest control to come and do their thing without you having to vacate the property? We have a rat problem but we also have 2 cats and a dog (you'd think that would be the end of the rat problem but nope) plus my mum is disabled with various health issues so we can't really just pack up and relocate for a bit without a serious amount of upheaval and stress.

I have been playing for a friendly netball team for a few weeks on a Wednesday. It has been lovely and my team are so nice but the other women are absolutely toxic and it is totally making it a vile place to be. Slagging everyone off then telling tales about who has said what. Why can’t we just play and be nice. They play quite rough as well which is not my thing I try my best to stick to the rules but they really are horrid. I don’t want to leave as I like my team and they won’t have enough people if I leave not too sure what to do to escape the horribleness. Honestly women are ao bitchy I have loved it apart from that! Tonight someone has told me another team have been slagging me off for various things 😣
Is there anyway you an your team can stay away from them? Who are the other woman? Are they another team or some that's on your team? Is there anyway your team an you can play elsewhere or get others to join an kick them out
