Maybe just assign yourself leader and tell them what to do ie Paul you do x and Mary you do y and at our next meeting we can discuss progress
Set an agenda for the meeting. Divide out parts of the project to go through and assign them to people with deadlines. After the meeting follow up with the agenda with deadlines. Make sure you email after every meeting with what was agreed. Ask that seperate parts are to be saved down by the deadline and then collate them. If a part is missing do not chase it. Let it be incomplete and highlight this person as having missed the deadline. Not sure on Excel skills but you can also create a tracker for separate parts of the project with people's names on.
Thankyou both 🙏, part of the issue here is that we are all at the same level and I don’t want to manage this or them. It feels wrong for me to tell them what to do because in other projects amongst our team we work things out as equals. It doesn’t help that none of them don’t even want to be on this project and were forced by our manager!

I’m going to point out that I said Nespresso because it’s the only machine I’ve ever had, ours broke after 12 years of service and I now buy local coffee beans, grind them in a £10 grinder from Asda and brew coffee in a £15 cafetière from Habitat. Tastes great and we’ve saved money. Plus the coffee grounds keeps the local cats off my flower beds!
I use a grinder and cafetiere too. For lattes I heat the milk in the microwave and use a battery operated whisk.

Vodka?

Normally works quite well to remove sticky residue
Or drink enough that the residue no longer bothers me…

Ooooh didn’t know such things existed. They don’t ship to my part of the world but shall have a look and see if I can get the equivalent locally.

We’ve just had a new extension built and remodelled our kitchen etc to be open plan. The designer decided that removing the door between the living room and the hallway would be good, as the door wouldn’t protrude into the living room. Unfortunately, the building regs inspector has insisted that a fire door is needed and thus the door has to be reinstated. The builders are suggesting that a door is put in place to get the work signed off, but then removed and the walls made good. Leaving aside the safety aspect, I’m concerned that removing the door would invalidate our insurance if we were unlucky enough to have a fire, given that we know it’s a building regs requirement, even if the fire didn’t get anywhere near the door. Has anyone doing a refurb had a similar experience and if so, what did you decide?

Hello anyone. Hope this is the right place to post this. Does anyone use domestic cleaning services? I feel very embarrassed about this, but I really struggle to keep my home clean, and so I was looking at hiring a cleaner to come maybe once a month to do some deep cleaning. I'm not sure though - I feel embarrassed and I'm also not sure how normal this would be? Does anyone else regularly use cleaning services? Are they worth it? Is it expensive? Are they discreet or will your entire neighbourhood know you have a team over? Is it safe?

Maybe you've recently been giving off some kind of pheromone? 😂

To be honest I don't think men find women that aren't skinny as off putting as we are made to believe by our societal conditioning (as another overweight person).
I’m starting to wonder! If anything I’ve gotten lazier with my appearance lately as I’m permanently exhausted, perhaps my brand of sarcasm overrides the physical and they just find my snark irresistible?

Are you able to post a picture of what you are trying to fix? Is it paint of the other car that has been left behind? Your car manufacturer should do a touch up kit.
Pics not very good but the bit with the arrow is slightly dented so I really can’t fix that myself.

It’s the paint along the side that I want to fix really. The scuffs are paint/marks left behind from his plastic bumper. It’s gone down to the metal in one part where the darker spot is.

Some people are telling me to t-cut out, others say magic sponge, others say WD40 so not sure what’s best and I don’t want to make it worse. Then again, what have I got to lose? 😂🤦🏽‍♀️

Is it better to fill in the darker spot with paint and then t-cut or t cut to get scuffs out and then paint?!

Not a problem but I didn't want to create a new thread just to ask this silly question... how would you describe this hair colour to your hairdresser? What sort of shade is it? Are there also highlights/low-lights/something else? It's not a million miles away from my own colour so I think it would be achievable. I get a warmish blonde colour done with a few highlights, and my own natural colour is much the same as Blake's roots/eyebrows - but I'd like to know the correct way to describe what I would like alongside showing this picture. Thank you in advance!

I will ring my landlord tomorrow, but I’m wondering if anyone knows if this is a big issue:

My apartment isn’t equipped with a combi-boiler but with one of those old systems where you to have to manually program or turn the hot water on through the control unit.

When I came home from work on Friday, the hot water had been turned on for an hour at that point through automatic programming, but there the water coming through the shower & taps was cold. I thought it was a temporary glitch but I’ve been testing the hot water since then and nothing. I haven’t had any hot water since (48h).

Th boiler is generally noisy when heating the water up but it’s been super quiet since Friday.

The heating seems to be fine however.

Would anyone know if it’s a huge boiler issue or maybe just the valve or something?

Here’s one for you guys 😂
Is there such thing as toe nail extensions? I promise I’m not nuts, I am a CHRONIC nail picker and when I was about 12 I had ingrown toenails due to this. When I was 18, it started happening again so I got pedicures for a while and they used to put false nails on so I couldn’t pick them. Fast forward and it’s happening again but I am way too scared to walk into a salon and ask in case it’s not normal 🤦‍♀️

Ok am on day two of this so am just gonna ask lol, on the computer its showing the full image of the picture, however no matter how much I try it will not print the full image, I've tried the option scale to paper size an tried both letter and A4 an still it will not work, I only need the page printed with that picture on it

My boss has been off two weeks an off this week with COVID an I need it done before the weekend as the training is on then
Which programme are using to print from?

I’ve had a tattoo on my ribs for about 7 years, done at a proper shop in the U.K. I’ve had really dry skin over the summer but the last 2-3 weeks this tattoo has been itching like MAD and when I got undressed today it’s peeling?! Has anyone experienced this before and if so what do you do…

I'm not sure where to post this but I'm trying to find a luxury hotel/stay as a birthday gift. Ideally one-two nights with a dinner and spa package/access. Anyone stayed at an amazing hotel?. Ideally around the Cotswolds area but anywhere from Manchester to down south would be ideal.

Please, please tell me someone on this thread can help me.
It's to do with homelessness, and severe difficulties with credit checks meaning we are looking at months upon months of being unable to even rent. Il explain more if anyone can help.

You think they've wasted police time because you can't see anything wrong with what you're doing 😂 To the family they're probably concerned what your next step is going to be. Maybe if people stopped replying to you about the problems you bring on yourself and the legal battles you're going to potentially bring yourself into you'll be humbled and grow up.
No legal battle they’ve closed the case and they’ve told him not to message me again. He has no way of messaging me 😁 I am humble I did the right thing, she’s aware what he’s doing behind her back and she had a right to know. Even the police woman said she doesn’t see no point in continuing the complaint because all I did was message her family to make her aware of her boyfriends behaviour. No I’ve done nothing wrong

Hard to say, police matters aren't exactly quick at most things, it could have been a while ago an only being delt with now

Am not sure how they deal with things like this now but seems strange it was a phone call, I'd have expected either a official letter or visit than a phone call since you can't exactly prove who's on the other end
I googled the number and it said it was the police the voicemail the woman done left a different number but she was addressing me as my middle name so surely my ex would of gave them my first name. It’s just weird and out the blue like not long ago he was messaging me 🤷🏼‍♀️ i wasn’t/not planning on messaging him anyway but just something about it screams dodgey too me

I know you can buy pallets from the like sof amazon and john lewis. But the issue is they qre more often a load of crap that an individual will strugfle to unload.
Could you fake it? Buy a load of tat from poundland and wrap it. It will soon out him off
I might try that actually? Honestly I don't know what he's expecting, there's absolutely no way people are getting phones an tablets etc, I've told him those are clearly fake but as soon as he gets some idea in his head he's like a child an won't stop going on about it
