We should do a Freedom of Information request to Discover Ireland to find out how much was spent on some of these influencer breaks. They must have done their sums to show that investment is worth it. But still. Some of these places are out of reach of the ordinary person so they must be pitching to specific people.It’s crazy but Discover Ireland are totally responsible as they gifted her the break

I still think that must be a glitch on the website because 3 nights in September is only €630.
That discover Ireland video is hilarious. Going on about places needing support yet she is happy to take freebies from them. Also she must have gone to Kylemore Abbey out of normal hours because in the video she just wanders straight into the house but there was a massive queue there today so I find it hard to believe there wouldn't be even one person in the queue.

This is really really annoying me now. But I need to know facts before I start the digging. Will that whole trip have been a freebie? Accommo, meals and activities? Will DI have paid for it all or will the individual businesses have given the activities for free in exchange for some advertising? Can the influencer negotiate the package? What type of staff member at DI makes the decision on who to send on a jolly and how much their package can be worth.
I have a few friends who's pages are smaller than hers...100-150k ish and even their petrol to and from these stays is covered. As a whole the influencer is offered a package but the influencer will no doubt milk it for every last thing they can. They will probably be paid a handsome sum for a wall post. I am basing this ok the UK but now in a lot of cases the influencer is considered to be under no obligation to actually post unless there is a monetary aspect to the contract. Tezziepoose et al are having their cake and eating it (....or not)
Yesterday I asked her did she forget about her mask while in the abbey or did she just take it off for the video and was very swiftly blocked.
Again, im basing this on uk stuff but shouldn't every single post be it stories and feed posts be clearly labelled ad/collab etc...tagging the company alone isn't complying with the rules

I think it's all so shady, what does collab mean? How is it different to a gift or sponsored? Is a gift just like a free stay etc... and your under no obligation to talk about whatever the gift is, but if you do post wearing said gift or staying in the hotel or whatever that's been gifted you need to declare it gifted???? None of it is very clear to me.

I'm sorry but that is so bad she blocked you. It's a genuine question, she's promoting travel at the height of a pandemic if anything she should use it as an opportunity to speak about what precautions are in place. I don't follow her anymore but looked at her stories - DI have gone down in my estimations, they have sunk low and how many of her followers are really a relevant audience?! They are most likely high % of 15-21 year olds. How do they get away with blocking people and ignoring valid questions - you should repost your question on DIs page and reference she blocked you.
