It doesn’t make sense to me how any HV Charlotte sees when getting the twins weighed etc can be okay with their weight. My daughter is 15 months and she had a checkup a week after her first birthday to make sure everything was going well. She needs to give them snacks in between meals fruit and veg. I heart breaks for them they are so happy being on the floor finally should of happened months and months ago.

With infant feeding and weight gain, as long as they are consistantly gaining and growing at a steady rate, even if that rate is slow, it wouldnt be considered a case for concern. Unless the weight is dropping or static (which i will assume its not) or they would have intervention, possible hospital admission, specialist dieticians etc. They were almost full term but because they are twins they were a low birth weight, (around 4lb each from memory) so it will follow that they are smaller than other babies their same age. You cannot force a child or baby to eat more, I would like to think she gives them plenty of opportunities to eat which is all you can really do.

I had a big one and a little one and felt like theres no pleasing some people and everyone feels justified in commenting on their size as if you are some over/under feeder, it can be quite hurtful.

I'm not sure if its the same in England but HV check ups here (9 months, 2 years etc) are not mandatory. Obviously they want everyone to try and attend but theres no penalty if you don't..so maybe she hasn't been to any?

I know mine were quite informative when I was a new Mum, loads of good advice about weaning and development x

I hadn’t seen about the barber when I wrote that. Omg, you wouldn’t have a barber 💈 around when you’ve got a child with this pandemic.

Health Visiting is also optional in England, in that you can opt-out of the service. In normal circumstances that is, i would think given she has/had a social worker any refusal or reluctance to engage would be viewed poorly on her part.

Has anyone else noticed that Charlotte's twins always seem to have watery eyes? They always look as though they've just been crying even when they are smiling? Those two girls are beautiful, I think they are adorable, but there's always something off about their eyes, could be just me, anyone else?

They’re being encouraged to walk now before they can crawl. They’ll have no strength in their arms and will have such poor gross motor once nursery/school age. Handwriting will be terrible as they won’t be strong enough to hold a pencil and have the appropriate pincer grip by age 3/4. Worked in education for over 12 years seen it year in year out.

They have to gain enough to not drop centile lines, though, and given that they weren't classed as small for twins I really doubt they followed their curve. A drop over 2 centile lines indicates intervention. The HCPs don't look at any gain being a gain. If it's not following the centile line they'll question it.

Nobody knows any of that, though, so it may be unfair to pass comment. But I do agree they appear to be less than well much of the time.

Just to play devil advocate both my girls went from commando crawling (only lasted a week, wasn't quick enough for them) to walking but they were young at 8 and 9 months. So don't necessarily have to crawl first. I do think Charlotte needs to take advice on-board from professionals ie health visitor. I don't have her on social media or watch her stuff as I can't stand her and her mum way to much drama but from what I understand it seems she's trying.

Oh and Charlie if you are reading Mrs hinch puts baby recipes on every day now for Ronnie so maybe you could try some of those for Harlow if you are struggling 👍

Fairhursts are at it again.
Lockdown but having family visit their hovel 🤦🏻‍♀️
Morgan, it’s morons like you which is why we’re in this mess
It says ‘lockdown crew minus 1’ i don’t think the girl in the pic was actually there I think it’s an old photo, hence the ‘minus 1’. I could be wrong

Nope, it's recent. It's got Kingsleys haircut in it. Before she cut it, it was all floppy.
And she got that godawful chain during the lockdown too, so just more proof that it's recent.

Not sure but I thought her sister was there the other day and have seen her a few times, I presumed she was living with them 🤷‍♀️
But it could be that they are just still visiting family ect!

I think that is Jodie, Morgs sister. She’s been isolating with them the whole time. Laura is a key worker so is out working with her mum in care home, hence the minus 1.

That jodie was at their house last week in an Instagram video Morgan posted too.
Yeah she’s been in a lot of stories and pics. She’s isolating there. Fair enough. She could be living on her own in a flat. I’d probably go and stay with family too in that position. Not that I like the bunch of cunts. 😂😂

They work at Bargain Booze 😂
I didn't realise her sister was isolating with them. Seems a bit weird to me, to have your sister living with your wife and son in a small house/flat

duck sake. I swear I saw her in a carers uniform. Must of been a tit short sleeved t shirt some Gucci boutique sent her. 😂😂
Hmm, I don’t think it’s weird. Lockdown hasn’t even happened before, and is quite hard on your mental health. ESP if you live alone, just lost your job or other uncomfortable circumstances. If my sister was having a bad time in lockdown, I’d have her with me in my tiny home, squeezed in the cupboard
