A 32 year old woman crying for her mom's cookies and decorations (that of course came from Harrods)... 
She's crying because now she can fully feel the emptiness of her life that no amount of shoes or bags could fill. Since moving out of her sister's attic I guess she is slowly realizing that she has no true friendships, relationships or a business that she might be invested in emotionally and mentally.
If she's crying about her Christmas traditions she still has time to go, since the Orthodox Christmas is in January and she has plenty of time not to miss her mom's cooking.
She might be realizing how incompetent she is for independent life as she doesn't know how to do basic stuff for herself.
I loved her little speech about perceptions, and how we are perceiving her through the lens of our own past experiences... No girl, we just see through your bullshit and fakery and we are not fooled by it.

I've never heard of that, I don't doubt that there might be a spot at a certain time of day (or rather night) for such things, but not the whole Bois. That's akin to saying "only prozzies go to Hyde Park/Central Park"
Yes to all these other places mentioned, and so many more!! Heck, she never ventures beyond 1 or 2 arr. from her flat (not talking about the confinement, that's obvs different!), she doesn't discover Paris at all and then she whines and whines. Wtf.
Also, she's always lived in Brighton and never in London, I don't know why the fck she's complaining about the Parisian "lack" of Xmas deco?
Again pretending the flat is hers and she "decorated it", if she's decorated the previous place, how come she didn't bring any of the items to her new place?
The only improvement is the "new" desk, at least it's not glass and it seems she's actually using this desk from time to time.
No wonder she never used that stupid glass desk, they are hideously cold (good luck dealing with that in winter) and dirt magnets.
Then she pawned it off to Xenia who promptly received her own desk and that glass desk landed in a dump somewhere? (or didn't she ask for anyone who's interested to come pick it up? I forgot).
it's ok I don't think it's widely known by foreigners, but it's a running joke about those woods and a known spot for that, it's been a while since i've been to Paris, but if you drive by those woods you might spot a van parked on the side of the road.. means someone's open for business. Anyways she's so disrespectfull, most french people aren't rude - what can come off as rude is a brutal cut to the chase type of honesty/speech, also she's never stepped foot outside of paris even outside snooty neighbourhoods where your more likely to find snooty elitist parisians. Also it's not a cultural norm to have lots of crazy decorations any holiday, for example trick or treating is barely starting here and didn't exist when i was growing up 20 years ago. Of course she sticks out she wants Paris to adapt to her not the other way around.
Yeah different parts of Bois are known to entertain certain groups of sexual affinities. Well I mean Hampstead Heath used to be THE place for cottaging, don't know whether that's still the case.

Never been to the place your talking about, but I've been to NYC - central park and all so I thought I'd answer because it's not the same thing from what I can tell. "jardin du luxembourg" is nice and doesn't have that stink attached to it, and there might be some things that happen in central park but it's not known to be an overly sketchy place. - There's just regularly news coverage about the prostitutes there, not just trans ones, it's just not something I'd personally take someone to see if I wanted to show them around. There's some attempt at gentrification since the rich people hate having whores as neighbours

Also france is way more restrictive when it comes to job hunting = no diplomas, no family, you're fucked, also if you do research you'll find that lots of foreign sex workers are there with no papers = no social fund to help you financially.
You know what I find interesting? How come her dad never visited her? The last time she was in Brighton she mentioned that her mom (and grandma if I remember) are there. And I remember that while she lived in her sister's attic that she used to mention when mom would come and visit. So, she could only see her dad if she traveled to Belgrade. I find that a bit strange.... Okay, she did mention that he was sick but even before that I don't remember him visiting and last time she was in Belgrade she mentioned how he's busy. Maybe I am reaching but I do know that certain people from Serbia weren't allowed to leave the country, i.e. travel to any EU country. Dunno, maybe it's my imagination but with all that talk about her family's shady past... Or perhaps he simply doesn't approve her lifestyle and doesn't want to visit her.

looking at the fact that her dad didn't visit her + she's talking about not being able to go home for christmas - maybe her dad has some serious chronic illness? and because of this he can't travel and is also in the high risk category so she doesn't want to go home for that reason? that's how it is with my dad, just reminded me of that.
