She will probably get another fantom bout of heyyyyyychhhh-Geeeeeeeeeee. She loves dining out on that bollocks. If he has autism or not, to me, is not the issue, she has the resources to know what to do, let’s be honest she makes it clear she doesn’t need people’s advice on most things. By Christmas she will be an expert..
ADHD/Autism definitely has its ups and downs. I find changes to plans (particularly things that have been planned for a while really difficult, plans I made this morning that have changed by lunch, not so bad) really difficult and that will always give me a particularly bad few days. I'm not good out of routine at home either- away on holiday I'm OK, but my husband has a week off work and we're doing things differently at home? Two weeks minimum to sort myself out.Oh Susie. You literally wrote your own child off as being disruptive and naughty some time ago.
Also, isn't autism/ADHD present everyday (with very obvious traits or not). Does it "flare up"?
If it happens at particular times of the year perhaps it is more anxiety based in terms of going back to school after half term holiday or someones Birthday etc etc.

Totally agree. And to your other post re SENCO support, if he masks particularly well at school they may just not see the same issues that Beg and Suze experience at home.I suppose he could be masking which is common with autism and perhaps these ‘flare ups’ are when he just can’t mask and has a meltdown
Her describing it as a "flare up" makes it sound like a nasty rash. I think people with and parents of children with neurodiverse conditions often do a lot of "symptom management" unconsciously just as anyone who knows themselves/their child well (neurodiverse or not) does. My daughter and I both have ADHD and I know that when she was younger I subconsciously managed a lot of her symptoms as a matter of course but just because those were things that worked in our house for our child- not because I was thinking "must/must not do this thing because ADHD". I'm assuming that she means it "flares up" when he maybe needs a switch in routine, is unsettled for some reason, or just isn't regulating himself that well.Just wanted to apologise for my previous post as I think it was a bit too vague and potentially dismissive of individual struggles/triggers.
I am aware that both autism and adhd can fluctuate because of triggers but I meant more that it is likely always obvious to some extent that it is there (or at least, that there still has to be accomodations made to prevent/limit/manage these 'flare ups/meltdowns').
It sounded like Susie was suggesting it disappears for a couple of months and he appears neurotypical and then it pops up gain. Although I do appreciate that he could be masking, it just seemed an odd way to describe it.
Yes, I agree. She must have low engagement. The hypermedia is being dragged out again.
The whole “covering the boy’s faces but leaving Daffy Ducks face uncovered” to me honestly just sounds like “we care about and value the privacy of our 2 boys way more than our daughter and dont give a fuck who could be viewing images and footage of our daughter just so long as the boys are ok”I wonder with her turning 2 (I think?) fairly soon when she’ll stop showing her. I find it wild she actually does still show her to be honest especially when she posts a pic of the 3 of them with emojis covering the boys faces but not daffy duck’s.
From the Kardashian Jenner school of parentingThe whole “covering the boy’s faces but leaving Daffy Ducks face uncovered” to me honestly just sounds like “we care about and value the privacy of our 2 boys way more than our daughter and dont give a fuck who could be viewing images and footage of our daughter just so long as the boys are ok”
I think it’s appalling.
I also think it’s partially she covered the boys after the tweets being outed, can’t really go back on that now but still needs some way to make a mummy blogger income. The whole “covering the boy’s faces but leaving Daffy Ducks face uncovered” to me honestly just sounds like “we care about and value the privacy of our 2 boys way more than our daughter and dont give a fuck who could be viewing images and footage of our daughter just so long as the boys are ok”
I think it’s appalling.
Hyperemesis even! Sorry! She must have low engagement. The hypermedia is being dragged out again.
