Susie Verrill #5 Shopping Guru, very woke. Thank goodness for swipe-ups or she'd be broke

I think she’d love us to be debating HG rather than talking about her awful tweets tbh.
Makes me sick that she did a half hearted apology and just moved on and has now had the audacity to delete the apology! Not to mention all the sycophants congratulating them on their posts, so gross.
Ain’t this the truth.

pregnant or not. HG or not. Susie Verril tweeted racist, ableist and discriminatory tweets. Fact.

We totally called it yonks ago team, well done! Been waiting for this announcement. She’ll be over the moon at having a girl and will go from being an expert ‘boy mum’ to an expert ‘girl mum’. Can’t wait 🙄

I hate bump pics with a passion they make me feel sick, and that's speaking as a pregnant person myself! Just seems so intimate and I don't understand why anyone would want to see this!

Can just imagine the smug look on her face when she found out it was a girl #content

Both the Daily Mail and The Sun have PR-approved articles on the pregnancy news and include no mention of the controversy surrounding the tweets, as expected... The DM reader comments however are spot on!

I find it really irritating that she has always (very publicly) encouraged her boys to not follow gender stereotypes, dressed them in leggings, etc - even to the point of pulling Milo out of nursery because he was making the distinction between girls' things and boys' things... but now she's having a girl, she's suddenly buying loads of miniature pairs of tights and Greg is shouting "WE MADE A GIRL!" on his Instagram! Do you think she needs to give Greg (and herself) a stern talking to about Maya Angelou 🙄 So disingenuous - not that I'm surprised any more!

No Susan, we don't went to see your hg videos and diaries. We don't bleeping care. We care about those disabled kids you made fun of, the immigrants/ refugees you made fun of, those people of colour you were racist towards. How about a video diary of remorse. Talk about get out card.

To be entirely fair I don’t doubt her account of HG, it certainly rang true to me and I was hospitalised with it. If it was significantly embroidered she has absolutely remarkable levels of skill and insight!

I was annoyed by her remark in a post recently about chastising her eldest for having a whinge about something being “for girls”. This pervasive idea that that kind of chat from small children is all a product of sexist socialisation is just such naive bunk, the “girl cooties, boy cooties” stage of social differential is there in some form in every culture on Earth, it’s a developmental stage. This blank slatist idea that it can be eDUcATeD out of existence is just daft, and setting a lot of mothers up for worry and frustration. (There certainly are words and phrases and ideas that are clear signposts of having picked up something from peers or adults, but sex differentiation and silly little developmental quirks and stages on the basis of it is about as deeply ingrained as it gets - it doesn’t stop existing because it happens not to be politically expedient). Rants about Maya Angelou are only going to confuse or frustrate, and a normal, well-brought-up kid of sound temperament will almost always grow out of that kind of daftness if left to their own devices. Vacuous Insta-friendly libfem rants do not a golden feminist son make.
I am screen shotting this for next time a friend bores on about the evils of boys and girls going through a phase of playing separately/differently. Perfectly put!
If anything, ramming this stuff down your kids throat could turn them the opposite way.

Crikey that black and white shot of the racist in a grey polo neck, exposing her stomach is awful. I hope she didn't pay for that.

Firstly, if those pictures are professional then Jesus Christ they are absolutely terrible. Genuinely looks like Rex took them with an old iPhone.

Secondly, have just been reading the congratulatory messages. So many of those “influencers” have actively taken part in BLM, have actively spoken out against ableist and other derogatory terms/called out racism in other influencers yet still are supporting her and following her. Practice what you preach. Especially people like the_playful_den, she is so preachy and judgemental about everything! Don’t understand how Susie has got some kind of shield over her that means she’s above these kind of things.

I don’t think these celebs/influencers are aware of a lot of the tweets. She’s done a really good job of brushing it under the carpet, I wouldn’t have known if I’d not read about them on here, most wont have had the inclination to go digging around into her past tweets based on her non apology.

She just posted a video on Instagram documenting her HG. It does look like a terrible tome but I can’t help wondering why she’s done this. She hasn’t added anything to it as in hints or tips or anything just seems to be a complete sympathy ploy.
