Not to defend her but London was in tier 3 for all but a week before it them became tier 4, I don’t get why she’d be away from her appointments etc? But I assume they’ll be travelling and claim it’s essential but you’d hope they’ve thought of all of this already

We were in lockdown until early Dec, and then back into tiered system with London going into tier 3 in mid-Dec and then basically immediately into tier 4. It’s hardly the time to be travelling? I also don’t believe they left in the 2 weeks between the Nov lockdown and tier 3. They have a perfectly beautiful and massive home in London they could have stayed in - god forbid they should have to spend Christmas there

Not that I was expecting her to mention it, but she doesn't mention a possible pregnancy or deny it in her new video. Did think it was weird the way she was holding her shirt when she did her OOTD, but quite possible that it was nothing.

This house renovation will be costing them a fortune, having an architect alone will be a lot of money. Taking her ‘career’ seriously they’re having a separate studio down the bottom of the garden and a bathroom in every room, I’m sorry with two of them living there it’s a bit excessive I think. Money is no object to them the jeans she had on the shopping with sister video go for £137 and the jacket her sister held up had a price tag of £120 you can just about make it out on camera.
Zac must be happy to be her lapdog anyway she let on that he edits her videos and it saves her a lot of time, whatever it is she does with her time lol.

Agree that an en-suite in every room in a London Townhouse is totally excessive. One en-suite seems luxury to me, it’s just not a thing here. And good spot on the price tags, that’s super costly for just one thing in a 16s year old shopping trip let alone multiple. But their mum gets them Chanel bags for
Christmas so nbd eh.

But she does force affiliates and spons. She only posts instagrams or videos if she has an ad or something to promote. All her vlogs seem to have a little AD segment that isn't mentioned in the title. For years she's been doing dedicated UO and Topshop lookbooks etc. Back then I actually quite enjoyed them because she did put the effort in to make nice lookbooks (plus they were brands she already loved). Alongside them she had her regular vlogs and other content so it was alright. But now every video is a bare minerals and it's just the same look over and over again. And she isn't gonna do a lookbook unless the clothes are gifted.

Obviously she has to earn a living but I don't see her videos as anything more than a cash grab. I guess she's low energy and never in your face so it doesn't come across like she's trying to climb to the top but everything's for money.

I only still watch because she used to be my favourite yter and I always hope to see a little glimpse of the old her.

I really don't see Jess trying to use a baby to get free stuff, she's never been a beggy influencer the way a lot are by tagging brands and hinting for specific products as she's rich enough to not need to.

She's talked SO MANY TIMES about being excited to create fashion content and then she's hardly done any of the videos she sounded genuinely eager about, nor does she post outfits on Insta that regularly. I don't know if it's depression/anxiety related perfectionism or just that influencers tend to get stuck inside their own heads when they don't answer to anyone except their sponsors for certain posts, but I don't believe she was feigning all of her desire to make fashion content.

Whoever gave her her last name,.. I think she has her mom's last name. If you look up Barnstaple and her last name you will get the Wikipedia page of her great-grandad. He was even commissioned to work on Westminster abbey.. I don't mean to insinuate that she lies about her money but I've seen several older videos in which she says that her family is not rich.. while getting designer items. (so I think she downplays her wealth a lil bit because she does not want to appear too privileged)

As I said above in my edit, it appears they're distantly related (if at all); she's not a direct descendant of him therefore I'd imagine would not have benefited from his success.

Completely agree with you! I believe her house was around £1 million? I get the feeling her family would be able to afford this flat out. I don’t seem to remember her talking about a mortgage ever either, or applying for one with Zak.
