Since the pregnancy book on goodreads months back, I have always been on the fence on whether or not she was pregnant. To me, the slight body changes or fatigue could be due to anything from depression, corona or her mum.

But this vlog and pumpkin confirms it for me, she definitely is and it’s a matter of time before she announces it.

I do understand she’s deleting comments on this though, even if she weren’t pregnant. I would never entertain or respond to pregnancy fishing comments either.

I wondered that too. Maybe her mum has some weird guilt thing going on?? Maybe she wasn’t around much for her due to work and lavishes her with stuff to compensate? idk maybe im reaching but yeah it’s weird that someone with clearly a very strong work ethic would be fine with her kid just doing sweet fa and paying for it

I completely agree! She used to be so fun and productive, and now she's just like any other youtuber with loads of freebies and "easy money" - can't relate.

So she’s finally posted her 2020 books video (a miracle), and lo and behold they are indeed at the farm. She claims they’ve been there since well before Christmas, implying they left before tier 4, but she intentionally kept it vague. I’m not inclined to believe her. Not to mention, London was in tier 3 for ages, and under those restrictions non-essential travel was still banned. So yet another influencer enjoying their immense privilege. And because of lockdown she says they’re staying there for the foreseeable.... doesn’t she have scan appointments in London? Anyway she also basically admits she’s done zero work for the past month. I’m so sick of this woman’s privilege.

Not to defend her but London was in tier 3 for all but a week before it them became tier 4, I don’t get why she’d be away from her appointments etc? But I assume they’ll be travelling and claim it’s essential but you’d hope they’ve thought of all of this already

I'm not trying to contradict your post, but she's the one posting clues, pregnant pumpkins, obvious photos, and captions that hint at a pregnancy, so she must know that people are going to speculate?

She's a vlogger, after all, she chooses to put her private information out to the public for a living. It can't all be easy money and flattering comments without any cons, just like any other job out there.

Not to mention that I’m sure she would accept #gifted baby items and sponsorships. These supposed influencers can’t have it all ways.

I went back to see how far along she'd be if she is indeed pregnant as I thought it would be near the end now... Can't believe how slowly this year has gone! Was only July! Could have sworn it was earlier in the year.

Would she still be able to conceal it with clothing, if she was five months pregnant? I still think that the clip of her sorting books in the library made it seem like she had a pregnant belly but it could totally be a bad angle and a small weight gain from not exercising.

The rule is still not to travel unnecessarily, simply to avoid people applying their own reasoning and justifications.

They have a nice big house and they are already all together for Christmas. If there’s one family that doesn’t need to travel, it’s this family.

I know, already corrected myself since, got mixed up with the tiers where she lives.

I guess we don't even know if they are going. She needs to share some more content, she's gotten that boring that all that is happening now is speculation about a c section and whether she will go to the farm.

Think this privileged imbicile has been reading too much fiction rather than living a real life. Her post on instastories about her vlog including "surviving January" is just a slap in the face of people who actually have to work for a living.

I would love to survive January by just reading and having everyone do things for me, however she just gets to sit there and swan about

I wish I could stop working for months because I feel “uninspired”. I used to love Jess but she’s been acting like a spoilt lazy little girl for quite a while now. I watched her empty house tour yesterday and I’m extremely jealous that she was able to buy that place without ever having a proper job. Do you think she actually has any worries or stresses like most normal people? I highly doubt it, her biggest stress is what book to read next

I totally agree with you it is so frustrating! But what does make me feel better is that there is a lot of her life that I am not jealous of. I'm happy and grateful that I have a job that I enjoy as I would be so bored living her life!

She might have all of that money but she doesn't really do anything exciting with it that makes me jealous. Sure she can buy nice things and a house and not have to worry about money, that side I am envious of, but its so wasted on her. If I was her I would travel much more, and maybe do something exciting like start my own business (I know she has her YT but it's so half arsed), or be involved in a charity or something. All she does is sit around and read.

She also just seems to spend all of her time with Zach. I think they seem happy together but she doesn't seem to spend much time with friends since leaving uni?

Edit to add this wasn't meant to be a brag about how I enjoy my job - I just meant it as in I would be very bored spending my days the way she does.

I actually still really like Jess and pretty much watch every video - will just skip over any ads if they’re not my thing. But I almost hope for her sake she is pregnant because being that tired all the time isn’t normal and kinda annoying to hear as a viewer that’s just watched you have a casual day. Unless she’s doing loads for her mum and family and not mentioning it.

Yeah it really isn't normal, is it!? She could be battling some depression, that is exhausting. But, that's just a thought, no evidence on my part to back that up. I really enjoy her content too but the ads scattered through her videos without disclosure in the title is starting to grate on me a bit.

This weekend was the first time she ever put other people's mentions of her on her IG (about the new vlog)... I don't remember a single time that she ever did this. When I saw it, I was like "the world is about to end"

Yes she passed away from oesophageal cancer back in late 2018, and yes Jess mentioned it. She talked about how her aunt really supported her Youtube channel and had encouraged her to pursue it further.

Ahh ok. I know she mentioned her aunt passing at the end of one of her vlogs but she never went into more detail. So wasn't sure if she mentioned it again in another vlog I hadn't watched. That's really sad, and would make her a lot more emotional about her mum.

Edit: I've actually just seen her aunt had lymphoma in her 20s whilst at uni but survived.

In Britain you do actually have a choice, and given the right support and information you should be allowed to make an informed decision- phrases like the one you've said are totally unhelpful and increase negativity around c-sections, and that in turn affects someone's decision on whether to have one based on their own circumstances and medical needs. Seriously, just stop using the phrase.

Oh ok. I guess I do have an opinion on people simply opting for a c-section without a medical need. But to each their own. I’m probably indoctrinated by public opinion here.
