I think Toyah Willcox, Nicola Roberts and Harry Aikines Aryeetey (Nitro from the Gladiators) were all pretty heavily rumoured, I’d say they’re somewhat ‘confirmed’

I’d be happy with all those.
Toyah with Vito or Carlos for much chaos.
Nicola with Gorka as they both have major RBF.
Not sure who Nitro should be partnered with. Maybe Katya? I think he is too tall for Jowita and I’m holding out for a same sex partner for Luba. I don’t really care about the others.

I wonder if Pasquale will be back on the Italian version? Quick read of the article and I also wonder if they are offering pro but he is trying to negotiate judge. Then if that doesn’t work out go for Pro and he can he wanted to carrying on performing rather than judge. There is no way Gio would choose pro over judge.

Im not a Dianne hater like others - she’s ok as a dancer but I just find her to have no sex appeal, unlike Luba. Even warming up backstage with Vito for a Warners weekend showcase, they have more chemistry.

I see on DS Amanda is getting a lot of criticism for leaking to the press (which tbf she does seem to be) whereas Gio is being upheld as a being above all that - which is a bit rich considering he appears to have some sort of arrangement with the DM (favourable coverage, leaks about how it was him who wanted the footage recorded etc etc)

I imagine she felt like she had to get some stuff out there as public sympathy is on his side. But of course it won't matter to his enraged fans. And you're right, he's leaking away to the DM.

I see Vito and others have left nice comments on Pasquale's birthday post. Wonder if Gio will weigh in..

The thing that concerned me about those gambling photos was that it was before 10am in the morning and they weren’t what I would call a casino.

I think Chris will be interesting if you mean Chris McCausland - he's very funny and I can't imagine his journey learning to dance as a person with blindness will be stale. Bank Of Dave and Martin Roberts are hard to get excited about though.

I've seen on FB some comments that Gio should have received an MBE too as he gave Rose her platform to raise awareness about deafness. Arduino needs to get one too, in that case!

I’m trying to psych myself up for Sunday as my interest has definitely waned in time. I did say I would have paid the price of the arena tour just to see their dances so I’m sure they will smash it and it will be worth me propping my eyes up with matchsticks Monday morning.

Karen and Gorka were asked on TV about FR. very diplomatic. Doubtless will be spun as ‘showing support’.,

'I think it’s like when [professional dancer] Aljaž [Škorjanec] leaves or when Anton [Du Beke] decides go to take the judging role,' said Gorka.

'Everybody is a big part of the show. When someone decides to leave or change their careers it's sad for everybody.'

If it was just Amanda, I might believe that he was innocent. Well, actually I do believe that he doesn't think he's done anything wrong.

To play devil's advocate, I do think the line between pushing a celeb just hard enough and too far is very murky and it depends on each celeb individually. I'm sure there are countless celebs with an experience they could make a formal complaint about if they wanted to e.g. Layton joking on ITT that it's probably technically illegal how long they rehearsed without a break. The issue seems to be that Gio's just too arrogant to back off when the celeb isn't responding well, and too emotionally cold to be encouraging and supportive.

The crotch grabbing thing sounds like a dumb nothing story though. It sounds like they're just blowing that dumb Michael Jackson move I've seen practically all of the pros do on SM out of proportion.

There's a mention of 'lewd remarks' though which I guess could have accompanied the gesture (off to bleach my brain at the image).

I agree: I do think it's possible Amanda had a meltdown and couldn't cope/took against him. But then when three other contestants have come forward AND the pros won't support him I have to think it was bad.

Though Duncan James has left a supportive comment on his post - scratch that, FR is innocent!!
