Amy is getting an MBE.

That’s great she’s getting recognised for her contribution to chrons etc but is everyone just getting an MBE these days? The threshold appears to be lowered

Every year Shirley is wheeled out to say that this year is going to be the best ever They announced the first celebs in 2019 on the 31st July, and that series felt soooo long.

The fact that she is still in it means it won’t

Anyone else find the toxic positivity types on the DS rumours thread very annoying? People should be allowed to say the rumoured cast isn’t their cup of tea without the other posters barging in with such self-righteous crap. Same people who dissect your entire post if you don’t like particular pros.

I saw those comments about Dianne and Vito - think they are very deluded.
Watching Dianne last Vlog with her and Vito made me laugh when she talking about training with Vito - she sounded like she hadn’t ever danced before.

Wonder if Ellie will go and see Layton and Nikita today. Also wonder if some of the other pros might go, if they can’t make the London show.

I saw a video of Layton and Nikita doing a Charleston to Hot Honey Rag? I guess the other one was too complicated without much rehearsal time and needed props. Sounds like most of their other routines were reasonably straight from the show.

I think the two closest to the original Strictly routines in terms of the three major elements of choreography, music and costumes were the AT and Paso (I'll probably add CCC to that, too - probably the three big fan favourites) but then bits were still changed so not to be quite exact.

Fot this year I feel Nikita is more likely to get a mid-table type, perhaps even someone who gets further than expected on less than great dance ability. Vito, yeah I expect a duffer, but I think Carlos, also.

I just personally would have thought with what was going on you wouldn't post about it; you can still do the job, be professional, and collect the cheque at the end of the day.

It just brings up a conversation if she will still continue to work with him when she could tour with the other pro's and/or do the pro tour etc.

Ellie has probably just realised Strictly was her likely career highlight annd is now getting nostalgic as she faces panto in Wigan.

The downside of winning Strictly at young age - she can’t now use it to reignite her career in 10 years.
Rose has done really well out of Strictly - I see she now has a book deal. I really do wonder if some people are trolling her, as normally she does announce her positive career things over insta. Nothing to do with her MBE and nothing regarding her book deal.

I think she’s just got a bit of a weird allegiance with him & likes to think of herself as a ‘cougar’ where he’s concerned, and he played up to it massively as a means of elevating his standing in the show.

Like recognises like.

There's stuff about how tough she was on the Houghs when they were kids and living with her.

Karen sounds a little cliquey there (as are most of the ex Burn The Floor pros).

Tbf on tour Vito, Dianne, Michelle, Nancy and Graz formed their own little clique, and they’re all very annoying intense so I imagine the Karen/Gorka/Luba/Jowita crew just chill and judge everyone. I know which group I’d rather be apart of!

I read Gio and Antons London show was put on seat filler. The problem is there are so many now - Gio, Graz, Layton and Nikita, Kai/Nadiya, arena tour, pro tour, Gorka/karen, Di/Vito - tickets aren’t cheap.

There was a good one the other day, dianne thought shepherds were only about during Jesus times and Joe had to explain to her that they are still about today and that's what you call people who look after sheep. I pray to God she was hopefully only joking.
