I really can't see 'old' celebs coming back. As others have said, they have moved on, possibly couldn't recreate their dances as they were so long ago and it would be too complex to organise.
A 'best of' done well could be really good. The judges could talk about their favourite dances and why, there could be a phone in for the all time greats etc..

I supported them that year and for a while flitted back and forth whether there was something going on between them. One thing that convinced me there wasn't was how often Aliona's husband was with them. Even at the after party were there were these photos of them dancing extremely close like they were about to kiss the next photos in the roll showed her husband in shot watching them. I know little about their marriage but it doesn't strike me as one of convenience that is common in the dance world so he must be very understanding. It was so weird - I was convinced she kept him dangling a bit in order to up the tension/chemistry, then dashed off as soon as they had won. He seemed proper into her.
I bet over the years there have been so many hook ups that haven’t even registered on our radars and not just between the couples. I’d also like to know if there’s any secret beef between any of the pros because they’re very good at masking it if there is.
They did the tour together as well as various TV appearances after their series and immediately before the next series. They even had a blink and you'll miss it cameo in a music video. After that though the drifted apart although that would happen since she emigrated to the US. If there was something going on between them I doubt she ever considered leaving her husband, he's very wealthy.

Currently giving myself a headache trying to work out if I should buy Strictly Live tickets, I have been a few times so I am particular about the seats I like but I've left it too late to get truly decent seats. Unless I ditch my mum then there is 1 floor side seat left
There used to be a fair bit of beef between the beef during the Cliffton Years. Ever since the producers seem to have gone out the way to cast Pros that get on well as a team which is why I suspect many of them are from the likes of Burn the Floor less about being Jason's favs more about knowing how to get on in a large cast without your ego getting too dented.
I felt a bit sorry for AJ Pritchard you could tell although everyone was friendly with him he didn't really seem to fit in with the group. During the tour he always seemed to be off by himself or on the edge of the group whilst the others seemed to socialise together.

I definitely think she ghosted him rather than anything having happened between them and them going their separate ways
I don't think anything actually went on between Jay and Aliona apart from that weird intense Strictly bond thing (hello Tom and Amy), but I've noticed from a few things on twitter they seem to have very different political views on things, so it was probably a case of having not a lot in common outside the Strictly experience

I also like Arlene. I think she got caught up in Naughty baby's downer in the clink but she has perked up since going to main camp and she gave the trial a good go last night! Her and David seem to have formed a sweet bond in the clink too.
