Hannah's eyes have always creeped me out so much! They're huge and very downturned, and there's something very scheming and unhinged to her stare. I genuinely think that Hannah is an unfeeling sociopath- all of her smiles and laughs and looks that she gives Shane, and the camera are completely inauthentic. Hannah's smiles and laughs never linger on her face- they abruptly turn off which shows that she never felt those feelings to begin with. Eyes tell a lot about somebody, and I have NEVER felt genuine kindness or sincerity from her despite S and G trying to portray her as some angelic martyr.

The channel needs a rebrand. "A disabled guy living his dreams in a mansion" There. I wouldn't have no problems with it.

But they set themselves as the voice of the disabled, yet say very little. Have they ever pulled attention to news or petitions? Have they discussed something like free health care for all would make disabled peoples lives in the US, a thousand times better? I mean, they Don't even discuss disabled people of the past. Or another idea, they could do something a bit different and research Shane's equipment that keeps him alive and see who made it and what their story is about. Some people who created things that make lives so much easier were often inspired by loved ones. I would happily watch that. Or even just talk about things that are frustrating?! Like I could do 20 video special on all the things that piss me off when I'm back on crutches and non weight bearing. "Dropped something on the floor, it now lives there due to it taking 10 minutes to fix and I cannot be arsed, I'm saving energy for when I need to go upstairs for a wee" Or "I'm only making one trip to the fridge today so I'm stuffing everything that can fit into my pocket". Why can't they just be honest or real?

Also, Hannah needs to zip, she may be a carer, but she is not disabled and therefore cannot speak as one of us. You can empathise, but you can never truly know. (And even then, I only know what it's like to exist in my disabled body, I haven't got an clue what it's like to live in yours). And before rambling on a point that truly says nothing of merit, perhaps they can point out we're individuals who will differ. One person cannot speak for all.

Well said!! I have a disabled partner who is an activist in the disabled and disadvantaged communities local to us and we were watching with interest until it became clear that this is not the sort of channel we thought it was!! It’s a narcissistic semi porn channel if I’m honest!!

Yes there’s a coldness to her face and eyes and something very unkind about her energy and vibe..her smile always strikes me as rather aggressive and angry

Not only could he not survive it, but he also wouldn’t have the stomach contents to produce 34 episodes. What exactly was he throwing up? Even bile only is rid of after once or maybe twice and then it’s just dry heaves after that. I think most of us have been there at least once.

As usual, they go overboard with their lies and the devil is in the details. A normal able bodied person should probably seek emergency care if they vomit 34 times. For Shane, well he just couldn’t do it without suctioning. The nurses in here can correct me if I’m wrong but I’m pretty sure this would be a medical emergency that would involve IV antiemetics and tubes down his throat. What a weird way for him to want to appear regular.

I totally agree, 34 times is excessive for an able bodied person, it sounds more like they want sympathy and they probably aren't interested in doing the stupid vlogmas because it's a lot of work, and we all know Hannah doesn't work that hard.

Exactly this when I was so sick I couldn’t even keep water down for a few days I was told by drs to go to hospital straight away I couldn’t even walk I couldn’t even talk or lift my head up after a lumbar puncture I was throwing up constantly I was in so much pain I had I’v fluids and after that felt fine so someone of Shane size being this sick and being able to fly only a few days after being so poorly ? Yeah I’m not buying this

That sounds terrifying to have to go through and I'm so sorry that you had to go through that illness, PoggyPig! You made the right choice to go to the hospital and you are very strong and resilient and I'm glad that you recovered from that!

Thankyou lovely it was horrendous I was so weak so I don’t see how someone of Shane’s stature would be able to fly if he was so sick surely he woild need to see a doctor to see if he can have a fit to fly note if he was so unwell

My niece is an airline attendant for United Airlines and calls bullshit on Shane being sick. She said there is no way in hell any airline would let him board the flight if he was sick. The entire story of theirs in horseshit and they know it.

That's the spirit !!! Notice how these vloggers NEVER have a camera ready at any of these intense moments to document them? Their dog stoned out of its mind, Shane's wheelchair crashing into the side of a house and falling on top of him, Shane reenacting the exorcist vomiting and then sitting in a plane seat drooping back and forth like a dying houseplant?! If these things actually happened, they'd have viral Youtube footage to exploit- but they're all lies to build sympathy and suspense until the next video.

Yeah I had hyperemisis gravidarum (HG) during my first pregnancy and had to be hospitalised and put on a drip due to constant vomiting causing dehydration. It’s too much strain for the body to vomit that many times. I can’t imagine what it would do to him, seems unlikely he could manage it in a hotel room!

Exactly! He'd be dead if any of it was real. They never film any of these miracles even though they have tons of filming devices on them at all time. Honestly I'm starting to crack and find the ghost hunting channels to be more honest.

All so true - they’re not even “YouTubers” who have real time real life viral content. They’re a blueprint for a tv show which their producers are constantly trying to pitch with every YouTube video. They would def have their cameras ready if they were real but it’s always that man behind the curtain trying to get Shane famous
