I think between 1-3% is considered the average. Although I must admit I thought she’d have a higher engagement than 1.77%. Can you see if it’s always been that? I dunno, I just wouldn’t be surprised if it had dropped to that figure over the last year.

Over 3% is considered good, she still gets over 1% which isn't bad atm.

On a side note I was in a beauty salon near her about a year ago and overheard the staff talking about how she’d ASKED THEM for a free facial in exchange for posting it all over social media - which she’d done and gone on about it being the best ever, but they’d just seen she was in another local salon posting about their facials being the best ever. I finally unfollowed today too!! Those unpopular opinions clearly unpopular with her followers haha. It’s the constant making making excuses for her actions and lack of accountability for me.

Absolutely no consideration of the negative sides of influencer culture but instead packaging it as #girlboss feminism. You’re making your money off ruining the planet and making young girls feel bad about yourself but yeah you go gurl I really do think some influencers have a good balance of influencing in fashion and beauty but also social issues but Sophie fucks it every time.

And the holiday thing is the last straw for me. I know everyone has different views on this and it’s caused tension with some of my friends as well but people going on hols right now really doesn’t sit right with me. Also I hate that she said the ‘means to escape’ line. Like, no, not everyone who is judgy about holidays is broke and bitter - we just don’t want the virus to keep surging - and you’re not escaping anything!! It’s a GLOBAL PANDEMIC hun, how do you think it spread in the first place. I have to breathe v deep when people say that and think of all the money I’ve saved not going on holidays this year and the extra luxe ones they’ll (hopefully!) buy next year.

Other than not being able to see her boyfriend for months, which is tit I’ll give her that, what does she have to escape?! Her life really hasn’t changed that much. There are people losing their livelihoods, businesses, careers, and even worse family members. You know what if these people said, I just need to escape I’d kind of get it!

The defending the whole influencer thing annoyed me too. But it’s fine, I’m convinced this influencer thing has a shelf life and all good things (for the influencers) will come to an end.

The whole “not everyone is going to have the same morals as you” attitude about going on holiday really annoyed me. I’d hope most people’s morals included not risking other people’s lives for a bikini selfie, even if hers don’t. It’s not like she hasn’t had multiple holidays this year already.

Tbh she showed her true colours when she booked the first flight to New Zealand after the first lockdown was announced. Then posted endless holiday snaps on her stories and whined nonstop when people told her it was irresponsible bc she “needed” the holiday. Mothers couldn’t go to their children’s funerals, Sophie!

I don’t follow, just dip in and out but I saw the stories today and was riled! Why does she always make the influencer pay thing a feminist issue!? It’s literally not?? I imagine a lot of women also own small businesses that might be struggling just now but does she ever clap for them? Hell no. She RARELY will mention anything about small businesses (she shouted out some salons today admittedly). She’s all about the big corporates and fast fashion so grabby.

Also! (sorry I’m on one now) If she’s such an advocate for women owning their own businesses or even women in general why does she work with Topshop - Sir PG has an awful track record with sexual abuse claims. It’s always baffled me.
