I feel like she’s not really that talented at makeup at all, the same with most you tubers who are self taught, they can all do one style of makeup and that’s it.

the way she does her eyeshadow really annoys me, how she blends it up at such an awkward angle and then it’s stops at a point so bluntly, I don’t know if that’s just me! But I think it every time I see her do it on YT

She’s a prime example of this aswell, I used to watch her when she first started and before the awful fake tan, and I agree her tan is awful and she needs to consider a lighter shade, I’m a natural red head so basically a walking milk bottle and whenever I can be bothered to tan I use light or medium, when your naturally really pale fake tan that dark doesn’t look right

Omg I feel you! I’m also really pale just like you (even tho I’m natural blonde) and I just cannot go out to sun because I will burn within seconds so I use fake tan mostly the light ones

Agree with this! I’m naturally strawberry blonde/auburn, and I used to use quite dark tans but it never looked natural and I realise that now I go for light medium now as it definitely gives me that glow but doesn’t look like I’ve obviously got fake tan on

I feel like she just hops onto trends. For example the drag makeup video when drag race uk was big but knew nothing else about drag than what she saw on that one season. Like the straight eyebrows trend doesn’t suit her or the sharp eyeshadow but she does it because it’s a trend.
i subscribed back in 2017 and I didn’t do it for her makeup, I did it for her and her paleness and she seemed normal but she’s kind of left that behind and just trying to be whatever is trendy to try and stay popular as she has to rely on YouTube so much now as it’s her only job so if that goes, so does her house mortgage and everything else

Completely agree she just hops on trends and is doing it to stay popular, she also dropped out of uni and hasn’t even had a real job as she went straight into YouTube, so if it goes all bits up she’s pretty screwed

It makes her eyes look very small and stunted almost. It’s honestly something I’d expect from an experimenting beginner, not someone whose career is semi-built on makeup looks and selling makeup bits with her name on

Agreed she also jumped on the tik tok trend, first she was saying it’s for kids, she doesn’t use it blah blah, but as soon it became popular she suddenly loved it

I bought the lip kit the liner is soft and can't twist it up the balm sort of smudges it off and it lasts around 5 mins if that so thumbs down from me wasted my cash

Funny after I said the post above about James, Soph posted on Twitter that her and James have a project or something they’re working on together… I guess it won’t be long til he becomes just another influencers boyfriend.. there needs to be a term like WAG for them

Im trying to think of a project that involves both of them. A joint YouTube channel? Merch? Even those two seem unlikely as she doesn’t put enough effort into her own YouTube channel

I always find it a bit weird when influencers get their partners overly involved. I know they’re obviously a big part of their lives and all that, but we follow the influencers for them... Not for whoever happens to be their boyfriend/girlfriend or whatever. Still, James seems nice enough and Sophie seems happy.

It was pretty obvious from the beginning that he loves all the attention.When she shared his insta and started posting about his twitch I was just waiting for the day when James starts his own channel
Also about families vlogs, she said in her recent q&a that she doesn’t see herself doing that and posting her kids and I think it’s funny because I feel that’s where they’re going

Thats obviously why she’s always uploads so late and is constantly saying “no upload today sorry”
