Omg this! I hateee the bright colours she uses in her videos. Very rarely you'd see someone in real life wearing a bright blue or yellow eye look.

That is pretty poor show.
The palette is nothing special, looks basically the same as Roxis palette (which I hated). Her eye shadow looked awful.

I would rather see someone like makemeupmissa have a collab as she is an awesome artist, as is lsgmakeup. There are many other people that could have come up with a more original palette.

The eyeshadow palette is almost the same as Roxi’s.
The mini eye shadow palette is 8 shades from her previous eye shadow palette.
The mini highlighters are shades from her previous big highlighter palette.
The two lip kits (lip liner and tinted lip balm) are essentially the same as her previous lipsticks (they look the same formula wise) just one of the lip kits is darker than she’d gone for before.

no hate but she really does need to look after herself better and maybe have a shower she just doesn’t look like the old sophie.

I’m so glad I found this thread, I used to watch her all the time when she first started, and got her original palettes from revolution. But I have always wondered how she got the collab as she’s not really that great at makeup, especially compared to some other YouTube’s! I really liked her and enjoyed her, but I just find her so painful to watch now and incredibly cringe

It makes you think what has she been “working on” for almost a year

She’s been looking awful since she started tanning herself 10 shades darker than her normal skin tone AND then she overdoes it with the bronzer

You have to wonder how much input Soph and the others actually have in these collabs. It’s like they have these palettes ready to go and they just stick someone’s name on them.

I’d love to see those contracts they have to sign! Revolution used to be a good, reputable company but now I rarely go near their products because of the sheer amount they produce. They couldn’t give a tit about their consumers or the people they work with. They’re just rolling out constant streams of products to get the dosh rolling in. In simple terms, they’ve become arrogant and too big for their boots!

We sometimes call sweets spice where I'm from (leeds) but I don't think its that widespread and I highly doubt thats the inspiration.

I am new to the party so just wanna summarize what I think about Soph and her latest collab with MUR. I think she is lovely and very down to Earth, it’s refreshing to see influencers with subscribers over 1M but still not looking at everyone from the top. I have been watching her for the last couple of years and I mostly enjoy her videos, sometimes I find them boring but overall I appreciate her consistency. Anyway, I purchased her previous eyeshadow and highlighter palette ages ago. I was not very impressed with the quality of the shadows but the highlighters were alright. She already had highlighters and lip products so I am disappointed that she did not come up with a bronzer and blush duos rather than highlighter duos. I mean highlighters are not even as popular anymore imo, I never get the hype. Her lip balms look exactly like her previous creme lipsticks, I like the idea of a lip kit but I wish the colours were a little more inclusive. Her palette seems to have a better pigment this time, however I don’t understand why she named the palette “Super Spice”? It’s a rainbow palette rather than a warm-based one. I don’t know, I expected her to do more in a year like even Roxi has more variety in her collab and she is not even a beautyuber...

She's got a solid following, I don't understand why she doesn't come up with a business of her own? It doesn't need to be anything specific, we know she loves going for astrological vibes etc, she could easily put her design skills to use and create stationary, clothing, makeup etc, rather than piggy backing off of collabs. In all honesty she comes across as lazy and sluggish to me.
