Puffy moved into the neighbours for some of the time she sent me this! I wondered where the hell he was! He’s still a swine. Haven’t been on the thread for a while but the naughty boy hasn’t changed!

My old Pooh Bear hated the vet. One of the vets asked us "Is he always this sad?"
Yeah, he was a sad cat unless he was getting pats and stuff.

Have you tried mushing it up a bit with a fork? My little boy wouldn't eat when he was a kitten unless I did (spoiler he's now a total pig and eats anything 😅) hope to see some photos of your little kitten soon 😅
She won’t even touch wet food, her ex owner said she hated any type of wet food. Today she’s had some tuna mixed with her biscuits and some dreamies! Will try the kitten lactose free milk too, thanks xx

The girl we adopted in May has settled in so nicely with us. But she’s got diarrhoea 😕 it started last night and I woke up this morning and she’d gone another two times in her litter tray. We haven’t fed her yet, I’m about to go to the shops and get her some chicken. Other than that she’s acting her normal self, she’s been out in the garden and played and doing her morning zoomies 😅 so hopefully it passes soon.

It’s the cats birthday today. I’ve given her a can of tuna as a treat for dinner and she doesn’t want it 😂 typical cat.

It's really windy here, somehow it's given my cats 'wind up their tails.'
They were going crazy this morning chasing each other and making happy burbling noises.
They've settled down now but it was funny while it lasted!
One of my favourite cat slave moments is me in the kitchen when out of the corner of my eye, I see Jimmy playing with one of his toys in the livingroom. Just him living in the moment of chasing and catching a ball without a care in the world.

My nearly 4 yr old neice spent a week with us, Nala spent most the nights here…. And during the day when she was in….. not used to little people! My neice just wanted to stroke her all the time and have her sit with her. So each morning I told her she was sleeping with Nala she was so happy.
Nala wasn’t happy when I put the bed away!!

We had an entertaining evening yesterday chez Medium.

I was browsing this very site while Jimmy snoozed away next to me when, out of nowhere, a mouse ran across the floor, landed in jimmy's toy box before bolting for the fireplace.

At this point, Sleepy McWhiskers woke up and decided he was going to deal with the situation, what with him being a cat and all.

Lads, it turned into a live-action version of Tom & Jerry with Jimmy firmly in the role of "Hapless Feline Chump".

The mouse was clearly in view at the back of the fireplace while Jimmy gingerly patted at it a few times.

"Jerry" bolted underneath a chair while Jimmy was still resolutely guarding the fireplace.

It all went quiet at this point as Jimmy lumbered about the living room trying to figure out where the mouse had got to.

He figured it must be under the fridge so staked that out, got bored and decided, nope, fireplace it is then.

Jimmy then pulled a toy mouse out from his toy box and gave it what for in case any real mice about the place wished to know what was in store for them.

I fecked off to bed and left them to it.

I came downstairs this morning to be informed by my fearless mouser that the mouse was under the cooker, no, I mean the fridge, err chair...... fireplace? Backyard! Definitely the yard.

I gave up at this point.

I'm in the office this week so I fecked off to work and came back to find Jimmy fast asleep and no further misleading statements as to the whereabouts of any mice so I reckon it's either fecked off or died of boredom waiting to be caught.

My boy Thor has an internal clock that tells him to start bugging me 1 hour before food time. You could set your watch by him.

Have just seen a full copy of our cat’s vet records from the time we moved here, as we’re making an insurance claim. It’s hilarious. We look totally neurotic as cat parents, pretty much every time we’ve taken her revolves around her food (ie she’s not eating or is being sick or both, which is consistent with her new IBD diagnosis), we’re obsessed with her weight apparently, there’s exasperation from the vets about how much our cat hates being there and doesn’t want to be examined or engage in the consultation (she could be so much worse, but she turns into a lump that refuses to move and her facial expressions are a complete picture!). Few notes about the times they need a vet nurse to wrap her in a towel to get stuff done. But all the vet nurses that clip her claws write up about how much she loves Dreamies 🤣🤣🤣🤣. It’s really made me laugh, I wonder what they think about us as a dysfunctional little family 🤣🤣🤣🤣
That's hilarious!

When we took our old Pooh to a new vet she asked "Is he always this sad?" Haha, nah. He was a happy cat but hated the vet.
She asked if she could show him to the ladies next door as they'd never seen a Maine Coon in real life. He perked up when he was being petted and much of. He was a gorgeous boy.
