I have found my new favourite thread

I've got 3 cats of my own & a little doggo but got some reason I can't upload a pic of them, my reason for posting though is that my foster boy, who I've had since mid Nov has a visit from his potential forever home today

He's the most wonderful boy, so soft, gentle, loving, handsome & sweet. If I didn't already have 3, I'd keep him in a heartbeat.

I'm sure the person will fall in love with him and hopefully he them, it's going to be really hard to say goodbye if it all goes well but I keep telling myself, I'm only part of his journey, not the ending!!

I had a mum and two kittens fosters a few months back . It was hard to let them go but I keep telling myself I can help more cats by being a foster rather than adopting more just for me . I am obsessed by cats and I don’t care who knows it

She only sits on my lap when she's in a box now...

Every time I see her I think where has my baby cleo gone? She has gotten very long!

Has anyone had any experience with a cat going fully blind?

For content, my little beast has always been blind in one eye due to an ulcer. But he's now somewhere between 15-17 and his vision in the other eye has gone. He gets around largely by his whiskers and knowing our home very well. He's not struggling at all - bumps his head slightly now and then if a chair isn't in its normal place for instance. But he's still going outside (secure garden) and prowling around. He hasn't 'played' in years but he seems happy as always - and no flinching/tenderness around his eyes (he loves a head rub). Good appetite, etc. Bloods taken 6 months ago were perfect.

I think my question really is, is there anything I should be aware of, with having a now-blind cat? Anything to make his life easier, etc? Here he is, right now, next to me:
