Monitor her 24 hours a day? (do you have literally any idea how difficult it is to obtain a warrant to search the house of a known criminal once, yet alone monitor a 15 year old girl for 24 hours).

Purely from a safeguarding point, authorities should have been more on the ball about 15 year olds catching flights without adult supervision. The government absolutely should not be able to restrict the movement of ordinary citizens.
But a person who is reasonably suspected of being part of a terrorist group? They absolutely can and do monitor and restrict.
Do you really think the UK's policy for dealing with terrorism is just to allow it to happen and then after the fact revoke the person citizenship if they just so happen to be a dual national?
This is a really interesting documentary series from the 00's. It explains of how instead of selling dreams, Politicians switched tactic and decided to sell us nightmares instead - the biggest one being Islamic Terrorism. It makes you realise how even in the 00's it was a completely different world.

They can and have revoked her citizenship as they should. They have done this before and will do this again. It’s legal.
Also we can’t prosecute her for offences commited abroad. She needs to be prosecuted by the Syrians.
But yet you insist she comes home.
What are they going to do with her here? They can’t lock her up. Who’s going to pay for 24/7 surveilance?

Which rights do you feel we should have suspended in this case. The right of a minor to have an appropriate adult present? The right to silence? The right to legal representation. How would they know they were at the airport unless they had them under surveillance? Do you favour monitoring of social media for those under suspicion.

I'd also think that Syria (and whichever other countries are somehow involved) doesn't have the resources to be prosecuting women who joined and would be focusing on those that played vital roles in the fighting
It's all good saying the country should deal with her, but what if there's nothing to do and they have to take care of a bunch of people who could go back to safe countries? And it's hard to see Bangladesh as a safe country if she would be in danger of serious harm
What are you on about? The police identified them as being at risk. They wrote letters about it and gave them to the girls. Not the school or the parents.
I imagine the parents, had they received the letters, would have taken steps to stop them leaving. A confiscated passport would have been enough.
