I don’t think he’s as bad as Emma Watson but some things I just can’t with him. I remember he did an interview a few years ago and was recalling a dinner with friends and the lady next to him who he didn’t know asked him something like ‘what is your star sign?’ or ‘are you a Taurus?’ and he freaked out on her because he thought she had asked him ‘are you a terrorist?’.

I'm glad these comments are being posted. I Googled him and thought he looked way too scrawny to be Bond, but didn't want to say it and upset anyone.
There seems to be a push to have a 'person of colour' as Bond. Okay, but it shouldn't be just any person of colour.
In my opinion, he'd be more suited (looks-wise) to the 'genius villain' role.
The main difference I think between Riz Ahmed and Emma Watson is that he has probably experienced discrimination, especially in acting, where black brown people until recently only got cast as stereotypes etc, and in the US where some people probably do think that a Muslim person would be a terrorist. Emma Watson has had opportunities that she doesn't deserve and preaches to others while trying to justify her own shady decisions.
Not sure but they are definitely turning on her, they’ve had stories this week on how she was ‘snubbed’ for an NTA, she’s losing fans as they can’t relate to her hippy dippy brand, and now her husband is on holiday without her.
Not sure they want to cast a person of colour as the villain to be fair.
