any ladies considering swooning over Dominic West (I can’t see it myself, but to each their own I suppose) should look at him playing Oliver Cromwell in The Devil’s Whore. All warty and manky looking. And a bit smelly looking too.

I have never liked Dominic West. I can’t explain it - but I really dislike him.
He is one of those millionaire actors, who tells us all that he is a socialist, etc (that always gets on my nerves) but there is something else.
I wish that I could explain my dislike of him properly!

Hollywood is indeed misogynistic and homophobic and racist, but more than anything it is greedy and venal.
Everyone knows George Clooney is gay, and there are probably alternative universes aware of Tom Cruises tastes
But they are given a pass.
Remember Julia Roberts, never met a married man she didn’t like apparently. She did the dirty on so many partners too.
She remained the American Sweetheart, although she wore a T.Shirt with “A low vera” on it, referring to her boyfriends wife.

This is why all the adultery is particularly distasteful in Celebs, it’s the flaunting of the power imbalance, something unknown to penguins apparently.

She was America's sweetheart though. The press print what they want to print. They didnt want to ' out ' Julia as a marriage wrecker but they did want to ' out' Dominic West after his Trump comments. Lily is just collateral damage. Not that I think shell be a great loss to the acting profession, but the hypocrisy will be strong if her career takes a nosedive and his doesnt.

I have this feeling it won’t really affect her career that much. I know what was said above about KStew, and I’m sure a few people won’t work with her, but if you look at her IMDb she is doing alright career wise.

Until yesterday Dominic West wasn’t on my radar. I’d no idea who he was.

I liked Lily in Cinderella though.

DW sounds like a self important twazzock. It always amazes me that actors are given the hero status they have when their job is essentially reading out words that other people have written. When I think of how they behave and how they are treated, it is puzzling.

I’ve seen him in a few things but all I can think of is Appropriate Adult...he was a convincing Fred West and I can’t see past that!
