My first comment after months of lurking so please be kind! I love supporting local and independent businesses...BUT where I live in a small suburb of Manchester the local business owners are the ones driving round in Range Rovers, kids at private school and having holidays in the Caribbean 3 times a year (obviously pre-COVID). The people who work at the local Wetherspoons are the ones getting the bus, living from day to day and having a week in Rhyl in a caravan if they’re lucky! I’ve got absolutely nothing against people making a success of themselves but I don’t see a difference in lining a big corporations pockets or the local millionaire just because he owns an ‘independent’ gin bar! We’re not all world beaters, some of us just work at the checkout at massive corporations like Asda or behind the bar at Spoons. I don’t agree with big conglomerates having a monopoly on the market but we can’t deny that they employ a lot more people than the local hipster bar that charges ridiculous prices to have a burger served on a slate or wooden block (just put it on a bleeding plate!!) Neither of them are wrong but I’m not gonna boycott Wetherspoons under the guise of being a liberal or some misplaced morals, some of my mates feed their kids with their Sports Direct wage!

Yes!!! This Jeff is so quick to point fingers at people or places that don't fit into her social media 'personna' of being an anti Tori voter but forgets a few weeks ago that she was spouting 'Vote Left, Live Right'. Dickhead. Haha remember when chips served in a little wire basket were a thing too, just stick them in a bloody bowl!

I think the footy post backfired do you gay men like footy too. So do a lot of girls especially Scouse and Manc girls. If she is a Scouse Bird she would know this! When I was at school at least half my year was football crazy, especially cos Euro 96 held some matches in Liverpool, then France 98 we also followed religiously. We backed our schoolbooks in Redknapp, Owen and Giggsy posters. Even middle aged women here are staunchly red or blue!

Exactly this Shirl! I used to make a nice amount of pocket money from Instagram and my engagement was much higher than hers, but that’s all it was, pocket money.

Even then big names don't make much from it, insta is just a vehicle for other revenue streams. Nice for freebies and holiday money but it doesn't pay the bills. I know a D&G model with a collosal following, great career, but says insta literally only pays for his gym membership and KFC money!

That’s exactly it, I couldn’t have put it better. My Mum’s 17 year old cousin was killed that day in that ground and the mental suffering and physical health problems that her aunt, uncle and other cousins have suffered with the stress and trauma of the fight for justice over the last 32 years is heartbreaking. The least she could do is put something back into it if it’s making her money, but honestly who’s buying them anyways. Literally never seen anyone but her wear them when I’ve been out and about. They should just be pulled from sale imo.
