First of all: You’re doing a great job mom!Sissy really can’t survive without her mummy. It genuinely concerns me when adults with children rely so heavily on their parents, she won’t be around forever what is she going to do then? I’m a single mum of 2 and when I had covid I just dealt with it, didn’t go crying to my Mum to come and help me. Even with Kurt having covid too neither of them have had it bad, nothing worse than a cold. Maybe she should stop at two kids if she can’t look after the two she has when she has a cold
I don’t see anything wrong with using the network you have though. Before women started to join the job market and people‘s lives became as distant and anonymous as it is now, mothers naturally had a big network of other moms in the neighbourhood and their own mothers. The reason why parents are more likely to get depressions and burnouts is because these networks rarely exist anymore, mothers take the additional load of having to earn an income, and yet society expects them to manage the family and household as if they didn’t have a paid job.

I wish it was illegal to share your children on a public platform. I know it probably takes more work than one would want to invest, but how good would it be to make a running feature of this and pin it somewhere to the top of tattle (like the wiki) for people to access. Even if youre not interested in recipes, seeing this could be so eye opening for so many!!!
