Slightly off topic, but has anyone been listening to Em’s podcast?

Todays one was with Dee, and I really wanted to scream at the podcast. Dee has questionable qualifications in nutrition and she has a full hour podcast about pregnancy nutrition.
Pregnancy nutrition is such a specialised area to begin with, and to have someone spurt food knowledge is questionable.
She went on and on about toxic liver and detoxing the body and eating certain foods in one part of you menstrual cycle, and certain foods in another. What is the evidence to support this?
The information she was giving was laced with diet culture, which when you are trying to fall pregnant, is easy to get trapped into when feeling vulnerable.

I admit I haven’t finished the episode, because her misinformation and toxic messaging mad me sooooo mad.

Shes obsessed with "detoxification" because she sells teas that claim to be detoxifiers. I had a discussion about it with her but she blocked me cause she knows absolutely nothing about toxicology.

Sooo... she has a meeting with her accountant in 20 minutes, is so time poor she can't add captions or eat until 2pm... but has time to set up her camera and film herself talking about how she's saaaah busy and then talking about mukbangs? 100% she has gender disappointment but would never admit that. Not long ago Kurt mentioned on their podcast that Sarah DESPERATELY wants a girl and she was quickly denying it like he said something offensive.

I’m just stressing for her any potential future daughter in laws (or son in laws, ect…) … she would genuinely be the mother in law from hell.

Also if focks, manatee and co do have kids, they’re all 100% going to prefer their other grandparents. I can imagine them all dreading having to do Christmas with the sugar free, gluten free, dairy tilse house hold and begging to leave early

She is now organising tiles and delivery... I hate to break it to Sezzy girl but no tiler will be installing those tiles so soon after easter. They are not freeing up their schedule while waiting for her command. I can't with her. She lives in a bubble.

Who remembers the half dozen times in her pregnancy when she stressed that she was having mEeTinGsSsSss with her TEEEAMMMM to put processes into place so she can take the maternity leave she claimed she so badly wanted to take, which she clearly expressed included NOT working, NOT getting on calls, and maybe just vlogging and editing, but msolty being present with her kids.

I think being with her kids full time shits her to tears, she just cant do it and is forcefully involving herself in this reno situation because she has FOMO and major control issues.

Pretty sure her team led by Kurt are very capable. Imagine how/what they must feel like watching her stories, when they're the ones doing the work?

Also, if shes so busy she only ate at two pm, what's it going to take for her to just sit down, peacefully, with her baby if he's clingy, and eat a meal, mindfully? Half the time she exaggerates how stressed she is, and then its shit like this that's so avoidable that I'm pretty sure increases her overwhelm.

The way she spoke to Fox in her stories this morning seems so performative, like she is trying to come off as a calm mother and patient with her child. It seems fake, especially when she said “No he needs to sleep” etc. Yet she still managed to come off as condescending with her eye rolls and face pulling. I've had two posterior babies and they were my easiest births, so I'm not buying her reason for 'needing' the epidural. She has a low pain threshold and that's that.

I watched the video and here is my honest review: I like that she included the epi and shots of herself where she looks plain haggard. It was a very true-to-life depiction of birth. Kurt was a very loving and supportive partner. I did cry. All birth videos tend to make me cry though.

I can't really say anything bad about it, as much as I despise her in general.
