I love Davina but she’s completely missed the pointDavina is spot on.
Really showing her a here. And keeps defending her comment further down the thread. At the very, very least maybe show some empathy for Sarah's family right now?She is so far off the mark - if a man has nothing to hide he won't be offended.
I really don’t think it’s the right time to remind us of the poor bleeping men who this might upset. Boo hoo.
Seriously. A woman is dead. Just like other women. All killed by men, but let’s stop to think about how men feel, eh? Ridiculous.
Tell that to Sarah's family.Davina is spot on.
The whole reaction to this horrific incident just shows we have a very long way to go in order to even start tackling this issue.I really don’t think it’s the right time to remind us of the poor bleeping men who this might upset. Boo hoo.

Basically she is saying "let's not upset men's egos"My God, that is tit from Davina. So we're meant to keep shtum about our experiences in case it affects men's mental health? Come on people, do better for God's sake.
I dunno, I wouldn’t want to start shooting down men that do appreciate our points of view and are aware of how they can come across to women so adapt their behaviour in a positive way. I struggle to articulate what I mean sometimes but I think it’s good that men will talk about this and the ones that are trying to learn shouldn’t be slapped down, it should be the start of more conversations. This interaction sums up how I feel about the “not all men” argument
Victim blaming at it's finest. Her second tweet in response to someone... I mean!? Here in the UK, it's dark by 3pm in the winter months, so by her logic, we can't be out alone past this time!?
Her bleeping tone deaf privilegeHer second tweet in response to someone... I mean!? Here in the UK, it's dark by 3pm in the winter months, so by her logic, we can't be out alone past this time!?
'I wouldn't walk home in the dark' is showing her privilige. Most women don't do it through choice (although I'm one of those weirdos that does). There's a real whiff of victim blaming there. And she can't understand that a lot of the time we do have to view all (yes I said ALL) men as a danger in order to keep ourselves safe. Is it fair? Who effing cares? Safety should come first. Her second tweet in response to someone... I mean!? Here in the UK, it's dark by 3pm in the winter months, so by her logic, we can't be out alone past this time!?
Makes me so angry. What a bleeping victim blaming idiot. How do nurses get to work? How do carers get to work? How do lawyers working long hours get to work? How do female police officers working shifts get to work? She can get to duck. Not everyone has a chauffer and if we catch a taxi, we'll be broke and might still be grape or assaulted. What an absolute tit bag she is.Her second tweet in response to someone... I mean!? Here in the UK, it's dark by 3pm in the winter months, so by her logic, we can't be out alone past this time!?
