It’s not necessarily blaming his mum. He might have had an abusive father, uncle, teacher, or someone else influential in his early development. People are understandably curious as to how and why this has happened. Your childhood experiences shape you as an adult.

We all have personal responsibility though. The stuff I experienced is on the person who hurt me and no one else but the way I let those experiences affect how I treat other people is only on me. I can’t blame that on my past even though my past is a factor.

This is all so hard for me to fathom. From central London to a woodland in Kent. So horrific and tragic, I couldn't even imagine such a situation in my worst nightmares.

As someone said on here it’s just heartbreaking and unfathomable tbh to even think of her final hours and being stuck in that car with him. I can’t even think about it. That poor poor girl

I’m not sure the people who are arguing the not all men standpoint realise the wider issue is the insidious stuff not this extreme grabbed off a street and murdered stuff. I wrote about this earlier on my insta. I’ll screen shot and upload

Sadly, some men are just wired the wrong way and we can't change that. For example, if a man can is capable of making a sexual comment to a teenage girl or masturbating in public, the chances are that he will not have any empathy for Sarah Everard's , and many other women's stories.

The only thing that can be done is harshen the punishments and take police reports seriously.
