I suppose we don’t know what did or didn’t happen to her brother. All we know is he survived the house. So is the older brother though, but I assume gender would come into this.

Do you mean CSA? There’s definitely a few facts that have emerged that make it possible. It makes me feel sick to say it but I can’t help but think what was on her body they were so desperate to remove evidence of. Using a jet wash seems like some extreme measure to try and get rid of DNA.
Someone said yesterday that they think he changed his story and admitted he beat her after spending days denying all knowledge because the questioning was getting tough and he was scared of what else would come out. But what is worse than killing a child? This along with the bite makes on her inner thigh just makes me feel like there is another even more sinister layer to the abuse they were doing to poor Sara. And I don’t believe they want to keep the children in Pakistan because they think that’s what’s best for them but more they are scared of what will come out if they were interviewed. I can’t even bring to imagine the horror that went on in that house. This case is so harrowing.
I don’t think BB held the power in the relationship because she was British, but being British gave her some power. All of the kids are British.I've heard people say that BB held power in the relationship because she was British, would this not also count for Sara?
No, I don't think she did either, but it has been mentioned so wondered if people thought the same about Sara.I don’t think BB held the power in the relationship because she was British, but being British gave her some power. All of the kids are British.
Yes that’s what I was thinking I just didn’t want to say it as what more could have been inflicted on her. They truely are monsters.Do you mean CSA? There’s definitely a few facts that have emerged that make it possible.
I’m struck by the fact that Sara is thought to have died within 5 minutes of Sharif getting home that day. The way he told it at first, she was actually in the process of dying when he arrived home but actually I wonder whether he was called home to carry out a punishment and immediately on arriving inflicted violence so dreadful that it induced the fatal seizure. This is basically what police think happened with Star Hobson and Brockhill even tho Brockhill tried to cover it up.
Jetwashing: dumb attempt to get rid of DNA. I bet BB watched loads of true crime and thought she was being clever. She probably didn’t want mess all over her lovely bathroom either (bowels and bladder often release in death)
I bleeping hate them and want them to suffer.
A bite on the inner thigh, I’m no forensic psychologist but it seems pretty CSA-coded to me.Yes that’s what I was thinking I just didn’t want to say it as what more could have been inflicted on her. They truely are monsters.
I think they can. The most plausible scenario is that the bite was done by someone in the house and even the defence aren’t arguing it was someone external. If the other people in the house are all ruled out, it has to be BB and the fact she was the only adult to refuse to provide dental impressions strengthens that. You can reasonably infer from all of that that she bit her.BB refusing dental impressions is probably because she did the bites, but without actual evidence can the jury use that assumption?
It was either her, or a third party. The eldest boy was ruled out, and I don’t think the other children were old enough - if they ruled out adult men the bite must be bigger than child-size.
Your first sentence, I feel that so deep and it’s terrifying to know that there are people out there for whom inflicting torture IS the whole point. I can believe that these people didn’t mean for her to die because they wanted her alive to keep inflicting torture.Given the outcome would've been the same, I wish that they just outright murdered her swiftly rather that torture her and prolong her suffering. I've actually cried on occasions reading her plight, it's just so bleeping painful to imagine.
The judge will hopefully bear this in mind on sentencing.
I've seen a few photos of her, she is beautiful & I wish to god someone, anyone had stepped in, spoke up, just saved her.
Obviously I'd much rather it never came to such an horrific end & wish these piss poor excuses of human beings didn't exist but they do & you're right.Your first sentence, I feel that so deep and it’s terrifying to know that there are people out there for whom inflicting torture IS the whole point. Exactly. I refuse to believe that Sara was 'naughty'. She must have been terrified of doing anything because it would all have been wrong and she would have a horrific punishment when he got home, and probably before as well.Obviously I'd much rather it never came to such an horrific end & wish these piss poor excuses of human beings didn't exist but they do & you're right.
What sort of working day do you have whereby once you clock off you go home & wind down by abusing an innocent child.
I will never understand such mentality EVER!
Or, she knew what was coming anyway, so she decided to say f-you to them by causing as much ‘trouble’ as possible when she was able.Exactly. I refuse to believe that Sara was 'naughty'. I bought this set of books as a younger mum yet have never once read any of them, I just couldn't venture into them.I remember reading A Child Called It when I was about 20 and talking to my sister about it, I think we both thought it was somewhat fictionalised because neither of us could believe that anyone could be that cruel but having read about Sara, Arthur and Logan in recent years and poor Victoria Climbie and Baby P I'm no longer living in that bubble. Those poor children, everything they went through, it's heartbreaking
Exactly. Anything and everything that went wrong was her fault.Or, she knew what was coming anyway, so she decided to say f-you to them by causing as much ‘trouble’ as possible when she was able.
