Sure, I can see why you’d say that. I’m pointing out that most common decent folk from your community would be shocked at you posting on a thread about the mother of a girl with cancer at all. So there’s little point waving the flag of respect and jumping down the throats of others with different takes than you now.

Saoirse's Mum decided to use their platform we all know that and we all know that is why they have a thread.
I'm not sure what you are getting at about my community being shocked at me posting on a thread for Saoirse and her Mum. They arent the first family of a sick child to have a very public page with thousands of followers and they wont be the last. We can all debate whether this is right or wrong. I personally wouldnt do it with my child but who am I to judge when I havent been in the position of having a child with cancer.
And "waving the flag of respect". Really? Their daughter died two days ago. I don't think I'm "jumping down the throats" of anyone. Merely pointing out facts that we don't know the family set up with the half sister (which we don't) and as another poster said it is a fact she is her half sister.

Those crying out for respect simply reek of hypocrisy, that’s all. It would be disrespectful on a saoirsemama Facebook support group but not here. Looks like the poster who said this has now stopped which is good.
There’s room for a diversity of opinions here. Those who simply want to pay respects and ones who feel it’s appropriate to discuss the curiosity of excluding family from some parts but not other parts of their life. Peace

A lot of people playing both sides of the fence here, the wannabe influencer mother put all their lives under a microscope, and was happy to do it when she was getting #gifted #ad #ba. Saoirse has passed away yes and it is heartbreaking but the lives of the Ruane family have been discussed for years on all media outlets, and all of a sudden thats it no more "updates" no more "just popping on" no more "quick chats" 
And of course they are entitled to their privacy but many would argue different. Yes the family NOW want their privacy but no one was worried about that when a sick Saoirse was dragged to a bPerfect event ? Ye need to calm down, when the mother goes back to normal programming ye will all be joined in outrage again

This is the weirdest thing. Do you really hope that they can be close? Why does it bother you either way? Why do you care?
I've a friend who's absolutely "heartbroken" when anyone dies. Whether it's a friend of a friend, a celebrity, a 100 year old or a child. I don't get people who take on the grief and sadness of the family. It's not yours to own.
Because Farrah Rose was used to having a sibling and it is going to be very hard on her now. She will miss Saoirse, they were close. Her other sister lives close by and baked for the hospitals that Saoirse attended so she must love the girls.
He did over emphasise it but it was to highlight the cruelty of childhood cancer & the thoughts of little FR growing up alone. It was clear to me he doesn’t know about R or he would have worded it differently even if it meant keeping her existence private.

This. Its typical of the fly high with the "angles" hope you get de best bed in heaven mourn porn brigade.
Unfortunately this little child's mother has put her daughter out there for public consumption so this is the inevitable outcome.
Look at the rip notice, imploring people to be respectful, "pay their respects once", respect the families privacy etc. I just hope the funeral doesn't turn into a tit show and Saoirse is laid to rest with the dignity she deserves.
It goes without saying here that it is tragic that a lovely young girl with her whole life ahead of her has died. But the actions of her mother throughout the course of her illness have never sat right with me.
