Speaking of nails mine are absolutely rubbish lately. Usually happens when the weather turns. Am trying to use the CND rescue stuff but christ it's a snore

I like a spanx too, it’s like a weighted blanket- hugs you in the right place to make you feel secure
Bras can get in the bin
ooh, I love a weighted blanket. Maybe I need to try Spanx then

The weird thing is I hate wearing a bra (and get told off by my sisters for going around without one) but I find a corset quite nice to wear. I wouldn't wear one day-in-day-out but on certain occasions I like the feeling of being held in.

I've read some blogs by dedicated corset-wearers and they talk of a corset giving them confidence - sort of backbone. I wouldn't go that far but I can see what they mean.
I wonder if it would help my dodgy back? I have mild scoliosis and it gives me all sorts of grief. I quite like the idea of not having to hold myself up, now that I think about it 😆

Thank you! 🥰

The foundation is superb so far. I applied with fingertips, as I'm not great with a brush, using a very small amount and the effect is bloody marvellous so far. Can't find my pores....!!

After a gallon of bubbles I'm sure the effect will be even better. But that's a different kind of 'blurring' lol.
Happy birthday!!

Did she say she doesn't exercise? What happened to the Peleton?
She didn't explicitly say, she just said she hasn't done reformer pilates since pre covid. And judging by the teaming of the leggings with boots and the comments about how she knows sports leggings are not perfectly black but they're 'sucky in' unlike fashion leggings I'm guessing they were not a workout purchase

Where do you beef faced trolls buy your tretinoin from? I tried pharmacygeoff but they wanted payment by bank transfer. I dislike Dermatica - I just want 0.1% Tret without the other stuff
I have bought it online from United Pharmacies. The first time I bought from them I had to pay by bank transfer but it worked OK. After that I've been able to pay by debit card. Product cheap but shipping quite expensive, so I tend to order a couple at a time.

I use salicylic acid just a drop when a chimney chin hair is sprouting. Makes it easy to pluck out about 24hours later.

Don’t want to re-ignite the other debate but can I just say- I’m glad times have changed. I think they’ve changed for the better.
Yes they have. SH grew up in an era where her heroes such as David Bowie (she has written about him loads) dated teenage girls. She might have seen this as normal or no big deal, who knows. Nowadays an adult man dating a young teenager wouldn't fly

oo interesting tip, what’s the science behind it?

getting nervous cos I’ve been borderline hirsute since 20 so dreading it getting worse with age. Threaders told me I was “the hairiest white girl”, I knew it was bad when I went to Turkey and the local barber offered to shave me. Pcos tests inconclusive, and GP said there was no point to them anyway. Has anyone tried electrolysis?
My guess is it exfoliates the skin and makes the hair easier to access?

The book that Hemmo mentioned a little while ago about influencers is published this week. The author was on Radio 4 'Start the week' this morning (at 29 minutes in). Nothing particularly interesting in that short segment but the book seems worth a read. The audio version is available in a couple of days so I'll wait for that.

It's called 'Break the internet: in pursuit of influence' by Olivia Yallop.
Thanks, I’d like to read that since I heard it first mooted - probably on here!

My weighted blanket is a bit too heavy? It hurts my arms to lift.

Thanks! I guess I’ll stick it next to my toothbrush so I don’t forget it at night. As long as it doesn’t make my hair actively fall out it’s worth a punt at this stage! I’ll report back
I've started putting my hair in a loose plait before bed to stop it knotting and I pat some of the serum on the ends too.

I saw a thin person wear spanx once and it made her get cramps and bloat, can only assume it upsets the insides somehow? IDK I’m quite fat and never had that issue 🤷🏼‍♀️
Never understood how Spanx worked, especially as most of the celebs who wore them seemed to be teeny tinies like Emma Watson. I'm guessing that if you're bigger than a size 8 there'd be overspill somewhere??

As someone else was just saying, she’s endlessly fascinated by herself. Where can this end? She’s already at multiple, almost daily selfies.

That top 'big hair' picture - I'm getting Mavis Riley vibes.

OT: Any suggestions for super fine, thin hair? I feel like I've exhausted all product options. Nothing does what it says on the tin. I am so close to just buzzing it all off 😩

Sail probably told him those trolls were just being mean for no reason, and looking for reasons to get offended and he must come along to BB to show them!

Does have have over 10k followers!?

That is an automatic instagram function. I block a lot of porn bots and when I do, I get the option to automatically block all new accounts that are linked to the now blocked account.
Yep and Facebook/Instagram are pretty hot these days with automatically flagging / blocking new or suspect accounts following all their issues. No super sleuthing and hacking from influencers required 😆
