She's really just not pulling off whatever this style she's trying. It's all to match the hair because now looking through her IG she had an ok style with brown hair. So it's very forced and just... nah, girl.

I wonder if sheā€™s going to Lisaā€™s pop up?

Her hair really bothers meā€¦itā€™s lifeless because of the over processing.

She did the cat burglar comment last year too - you canā€™t get anything more bland than black trousers and jumper (my go to outfit when canā€™t be arsed) but why ā€œcat burglarā€ - whyyyyyyyy?????

Her grid now is 100% just her head and other beige things

It's like nothing else exists for her outside her own reflection and stuff she owns or covets

Thank you - I thought I was going mad as I was sure I'd seen her say cat burglar vibes before.
Her outfits are so dull, not awful (though those trainers šŸ˜¬) but why you would want to show them off is baffling. I get she is going for a 'classic' look these days - but even that can be interesting and inspirational. Her trousers just don't look like they fit most of the time - too tight and too baggy in the wrong places.
I think she would suit some nice light wool check trousers and brogues.

Reasonably priced clothes that are not terrible quality, where do you get them?

I am at a loss. I do not want to create sparks when I walk nor look like an old person that buys from specialist catalogues.

Up until a couple of years ago, I'd have said Cos. It was probably my first port of call for about 10 years. I'd buy both new and second-hand from ebay. Not sure if Cos has changed recently or if I've got bored with it. I think the quality is still good.

I think Uniqlo is good. Knitwear in particular is great for the price and I always look at their designer collaborations. The quality (fabric, finish) of their collaborations with Jil Sander, for example, is fantastic. These collections are more expensive but there's usually quite a lot that gets marked down.

I always look at H&M. They have a 'premium' collection that uses better quality fabrics. And Zara. I've had a couple of brilliant buys (esp coats) from Zara.

I'm no London fashionista - but to me this looks curiously like a jacket with just tights. There is no skirt, and they are tights aren't they?

Forgive my Luddite inability to insert the actual photo here, but letā€™s deconstruct this a bit. And forgive me if Iā€™ve forgotten how cold ā€œindoorsesā€ are- Iā€™ve been gone from the UK a while.

Wearing a thick overcoat over a
wool blazer, over a polo neck jumper (insert mockneck/turtleneck terminology! šŸ˜‚ ), but basically a jumper worn in snood-like fashion snuggled up to the chin, with opaque tights etc etc INDOORS!!!

i give you exhibit Alpha through Omega; She Here is showing the world SHE IS NOT THERE YET!!!

Tell us youā€™re not perimenopausal without telling us youā€™re not perimenopausalā€¦ šŸ˜‚

Thank you Aude. We don't have Cos or Uniqlo at my nearest city, so I would have to investigate online. What is the sizing like? I'm tall with many arse.

Uniqlo is amazing. I get most of my clothes there - I like that they're plain (like me!), no logos, good quality. Sizing can be a bit hit and miss, I'm short (shorter than Sali!) but not teeny weeny and I can be anything from XS to M.
