Hey, new here, ironically after seeing Sali's video.

I always like to make my own mind up about things, so I had a google and found here. Admittedly, I've not read much, but what I have bears no resemblance to what I was expecting going by Sali's video.

In fact, the main thing I've taken from the whole thing is being shocked (and disappointed) to discover Sali's had botox!

Feeling a bit manipulated.

I haven't been a fan for a very long time but I still think it is absolutely disgusting for her to have been recommending products in her column and not been transparent about having regular botox.

Just self examining. I have a nice life. I love and I am loved.

I work hard for the money I earn. I've bought two of Sali's books plus copies for friends. I've bought multiple items on Sali's recommendations and have always recommended her as the go to place for advice.

But I've also realised (and have evidenced) where she has been disingenuous or conflicting and therefore cannot trust her recommendations.

I also note that Caroline Hirons has defended Sali. Just like Sali did for her during the Drunk Elephant debacle. Oh wait. She didn't.

I’m a 33 year old wife and mother, I have a lovely job and nice home and an extensive skincare routine... BUT I’m allowed to discuss shady practice within the “influencer” industry with people who’ve also woken up to the bullshit. I never say anything personal, and most people on here are eloquent in putting a point across. I bought “Pretty Honest” and have previously really enjoyed Sali’s words.
I am her target audience.

It’s just so inaccurate though. Tattle doesn’t have to impede on Sali’s life if she doesn’t want it to. It’s just as you say, for attention and engagement. Tattlers aren’t trolls. I can’t emphasise this enough. We are people with opinions. Not nasty or racist or sexist or homophobic. None of that here. No death threats. No bad intentions. No trolling. We just discuss what we see on Social Media and call out shadiness. That’s the point. They are greedy dodgy dishonest people shilling for a very good living and treating their followers like tit. Exploiting women through selling them things they don’t need through deception. Sali ‘Buy this face cream to look like me even though I’ve had cosmetic prrocedures that this cream won’t recreate on your face’Hughes is not honest and that’s why she emphasised in that IG video tonight that she was HONEST so many times. Ok Sal. The vindictive bile was plain to see in her. I bet she had screamed and thrown things for hours before filming that video. Her hair was all over the place!

Exactly this. The few times people overstep the mark they are banned as we don't allow hateful, abusive, threatening etc messages.

I couldn’t agree more. They already are so privileged yet they want complete and utter subservience from everyone. I’d never heard of tattle.life until I watched Sali’s IGTV, googled “Sali Hughes” + “Estee laundry” and this thread was the first hit. So if enough people are curious then she’s just blown this wide open. As others have said, the vast majority of comment (on this thread at least, all I’ve read so far) bears no resemblance to her claims today.

(Like many others, I was a fan, joined GTL near the start, but have gradually become disillusioned. CT and DE... )

As a long term lurker on here I’ve never felt driven to comment before but honestly her video is the most appalling mischaracterisation of what has been said on this thread. What a total overreaction on her part, especially given her own past behaviour of incredible unpleasantness to various people.
